Imam Mahdi (as) will capture the minds of people
EXPLANATION OF THE HADITHS BY MR. ADNAN OKTAR
Hazrat Ali (ra) says, “In the End Times, one of my sons from my line will appear. His complexion will be a white and red mixture. He will have a wide stomach, he will have big thighs, and his shoulders will be straight and broad. The sign on his back resembles that of our Prophet (saas).” So he says that Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) will also have a mole on his back just like our Prophet (saas). “When he flies his flag, everywhere in between East and West will be illuminated and he will capture the minds of people.” He will capture the minds of people. And his flag will be the television screens. That is because it is said that the characteristic of this flag is that it will illuminate everywhere in between East and West. How would a flag illuminating everywhere be possible? It will be a television, insha’Allah. And since it will be illuminating everywhere in between East and West, and this is a flag that is all around the world. And here in another account, it says that it will be in everyone’s house. And there is a flag that illuminates the houses. That means the word 'flag' is a symbol that describes the spirit of the system of the Mahdi, it may as well be a television channel. May be an internet website. That is such a reference in this. And the flying of the flag draws attention to that activity. I mean that will be a monitor as wide as a flag, and there is an activity in that. The accounts state that “...it will illuminate everywhere.” In that case, it is a radiant flag that will enter every house, that will be in every house and it will be a lively flag. This is how he described television. “And it will capture the minds of the servants.” Meaning it will capture their consciences. It will communicate the message of religion. “And there will be no Muslim left whose heart will not be as strong as a piece of iron.” Their hearts will be so strengthened that they will be like iron. “God gave Mahdi the strength of forty people. There will be no deceased whose heart and grave is not filled with this mentioned relief.” So the accounts state that the hearts of even the deceased will be relieved.
