Auroras

Auroras

coronaAuroras are generally seen in the night sky in the regions close to the Earth’s magnetic poles.
They are essentially caused by sunbursts.
Energetic charged particles, carried to our Earth by solar winds, are directed by the Earth’s magnetic field towards the high latitude regions where very few people live.
They are ionized by colliding with oxygen and nitrogen atoms in the atmosphere, and this causes light to be emitted.
Pink, red and particularly green light enchants those who observe them.
These colorful rays that illuminate our world in the darkness, and so much else that is so beautiful, are all manifestations of the artistry of Allah, the matchless Creator.
I seek refuge in Allah from the cursed Satan
The coloring of Allah – and what coloring could be better than Allah’s? It is Him we worship. (Surat al-Baqara, 138)
