Mr. Adnan Oktar's speech in the Peace and Brotherhood Meeting held under the guidance of Mr. Adnan Oktar with the contribution of the members of the three Abrahamic religions and various politicians (May 9th, 2013; Hotel Sürmeli)

Yaşar Yakış: As Mr. Oktar has arrived, as he joined us, let us first of all leave the floor to him and then continue with the rest of the program. As I have stated in the very beginning Mr. Adnan Oktar is the real host of this event. He is the Honorary President of the Foundation for the Preservation of National Values. Please go on Mr. Oktar.
Adnan Oktar: Thank you very much, my esteemed minister. I welcome all our guests here. I am very much pleased with your attendance. You have brought us honor, you've made us happy and pleased. I thank you all very much. A world living in peace, brotherhood and serenity is something that we all want. Jews, Christians, Muslims living together as brothers is very exciting. We see this beauty in the Torah, we see this beauty in the Gospels and we see this beauty in the Qur'an as well. Look, Almighty Allah says in the Surat Al-Baqarah [verse; 208] - I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed satan - "O you who believe, join in peace, all of you.." Join in peace. "Allah calls to the Abode of Peace and He guides whom He wills to a straight path." [Surah Yunus; 25] Peace is mentioned here again, that is what Allah wants from us. In the same manner we look at the Torah; "How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity!" Psalms [133:1] "For he [Solomon] ruled over all the kingdoms... and had peace on all sides." [1 Kings, 4:24] Allah will show those days again to us. He says there were peace on all sides. ".. Did not one God create us?" says Allah in the Torah, one Allah has created us all, "Why do we profane the covenant of our fathers by breaking faith with one another?" [Malachi, 2:10] Allah says; why are you fighting then? Why are there wars? in Malachi. "Consider the blameless, observe the upright; there is a future for the man of peace." [Psalms, 37:37] And that future has come, those days promised in the Torah have come. "... Render true and sound judgment in your courts; do not plot evil against your neighbor..." So He says; do not hate each other, do not attack one another, do not say evil things to each other, do not make war. ".. I hate all this," declares the Lord," says Allah in the Torah. "Again the word of the Lord Almighty came to me. This is what the Lord Almighty says: '... Therefore love truth and peace.'" [Zechariah, 8:16-18] Peace; that is the soundness, relief, beauty. Allah says; "I will take away the chariots.." in the Torah. Those are the tanks and cannon balls, they will be taken away. ".. and the battle bow will be broken.." The weapons will be broken. ".. He [your King].." King Messiah, Moshiach, and that is the Mahdi in Islamic belief ".. will proclaim peace to the nations." Zechariah, 9:10. "Burn them [the weapons] up" Allah says that there will be no weapons left. ".. the small shields and the large shields, the bows and arrows, the war clubs and the spears [will be thrown to fire]" So all kinds of weapons will be eliminated. ".. They will use them for fuel... declares the Sovereign Lord." In Ezekiel [39;9-10]. We are in this beautiful period. That is a period of peace, a period of love and goodness. That is a period in which the whole world will be brothers. Almighty Allah says; "Bow and sword and battle I will abolish from the land, so that all may lie down in safety," in Hosea [2:18].
In the same manner we see the same beauty in the Gospels as well; "Blessed are the peacemakers! For they will be called servants of God..." Matthew, 5:9. Look Allah says; "blessed are the peacemakers!" "If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone." Romans [12: 18] That is what we are doing at the moment, we are doing whatever possible with all our might for peace. "Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy". Hebrews [12:14]. "God has called us to live in peace" 1 Corinthians [7:15]. Peace and welfare is asked for in everywhere. That is why the time for the happiness, beauty and welfare in the Middle East has come. Allah's letting us hold these beautiful meetings, His bringing together these beautiful people, His making us continuously talk about love and peace, is one of the portents of it. We would not want any nation to live in difficulty and pain, not Jews, not people in any other religion, not Christians, not Muslims, not Palestinians. We want all of them to live in peace and tranquility. That is why people of peace holding such beautiful meetings is very to the point. That is because the Palestinians are also from the line of Ishmael. They are the children of the same father. They are all the children of the Prophet Abraham (pbuh). The others, the Israelis are already the children of the Prophet Israel (pbuh), of Jacob (pbuh). We all want the children of the Prophets to live in that beauty, in that comfort. Satan has dragged us into a fight with each other. But an end has come in this fight by the leave of Allah. We will present this beauty, this goodness to each other; away from egoism and selfishness, in a friendly and brotherly manner, within the spirit of generosity. The Prophet Abraham (pbuh) has slaughtered a calf to his guests whom he never met before. He invited them to a roasted calf and said; "come please and eat." Yet he understood that actually they were angels. Behaving in similar manners with that of the Prophet Abraham (pbuh) and living in that peaceful spirit of Islam is a duty upon all of us, insha'Allah. We also see the same in the hadiths [of our Prophet (saas)]. For instance; In the age of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)- that is the time of the Moshiach, the time of the King Messiah, ".. the sheep will graze with the wolf and children will play with snakes and scorpions but will come to no harm." Snakes meaning; anarchists, terrorists will not be able to harm people. [That is from] Al-Qawl al-Mukhtasar fi 'Alamat al-Mahdi al-Muntadhar [p. 43] A reliable Islamic source. In the time of Moshiach, that is Hazrat Mahdi "He, Allah, will do away with enmity and hatred. The venom will be removed from poisonous animals. Even a small boy will place his hand in a serpent's mouth, and the serpent will not harm him. The wolf will be like a dog in a herd of sheep or goats. Earth will be filled with peace just like water fills the pot." [Sunan Ibn Majah, p. 331-35] That time has come. In the Torah accounts there are references to the dates 1999-2012. Islamic accounts have such references as well. Actually the foundation of the state of Israel is one of the greatest portents of this. We want Israel to live in the region in peace and in brotherhood and we think that Israel is an ornament in that region. Just like Palestinians being ornaments, being the beauty of the region, just like our Muslim brothers and sisters being the ornaments of the region, our Christian brothers and sisters there are also beauties and ornaments of the region, Jews are beauties and ornaments of the region as well.
Look in Surat Al-Isra, verse 104, Almighty Allah says; " And We said thereafter to the Children of Israel.." meaning We said unto the Jews, Allah says this. That is a verse. ".. Dwell securely in the land" meaning dwell in Israel. ".. but when the promise of the Hereafter cometh to pass We shall bring you as a crowd gathered out of various nations." (Surat Al-Isra', 104) Consequently those who tell them to go out of those lands are on the wrong path because they are acting in conflict with the Qur'an. According to the Qur'an.. look Allah says in another verse, in Surat Al-Maida, verse 20, 21. "Remember Moses said to his people: "O my people! Call in remembrance the favor of Allah unto you, when He produced prophets among you, made you kings, and gave you what He had not given to any other among the peoples. O my people! Enter the holy land which Allah hath assigned unto you,"- that is Israel, ".. and turn not back ignominiously, for then will ye be overthrown, to your own ruin." (Surat Al-Maide, 20-21) From here we see that Israel's existence in the region is rightful. It is necessary according to the Qur'an, it is necessary according to good conscience and it is necessary according to the reason as well. We want all nations, all religions, all faiths to live in peace. We want also the atheists, communists, Masons, Templars and all to be able to express their opinions and thoughts in peace. We want democracy to rule all around. We want freedom of speech to prevail all around. We want everyone to be respectful towards each other. Insha'Allah we are here today, we have gathered as a portent of those beautiful days. Allah has gathered us here with the beautiful contributions of Mr. Yaşar Yakış, our esteemed former Minister. Allah gives him such beautiful duties, that's been attracting my attention lately. He is a blessed person, he is an esteemed person, may Allah give him a long life. May Allah give long life to all of you. I feel the same feelings for our esteemed guests we received, I am of the same opinion for all of them. I thank you all. May Allah give us all peaceful, happy, beautiful and good days insha'Allah.
Nissim Zeev: We need you in Israel to make a speech.
Yaşar Yakış: In that case, you need to invite him to Israel so that he can go and talk there as well. [Translating] Our guest says; "The verses Mr. Oktar has mentioned are the signs in the Qur'an that declare that the current lands of Israel are given to the People of Israel. We have thus been informed about them."
Adnan Oktar: All nations, all peoples have the right to live freely and beautifully. The command of Almighty Allah is for the People of Israel to live there. The people of Israel habited there for thousands of years. Judaism is a religion of four thousand years and they've been living loyal to Allah and their religion, they've been living loyal to the Prophet Moses (pbuh). That is a beauty, an ornament. The same holds true for Christianity, and for Islam as well. We also want Muslims to live freely, peacefully and in tranquility in the lands that they reside in. That is what Allah wants from us. However attempting to drive Israel out of that region, telling them "go there!" and when they do so saying; "go there!" would be very cruel. The Spanish did that before. Ottomans have protected our Jewish brothers then. They have received them in the most beautiful place, in the most beautiful part of Istanbul. Look, Ottomans brought Jews in ships and settled them in the most beautiful part of the most beautiful city of the Ottomans. And they have showed them an amazing respect and love. We are the children of Ottomans and we share the same spirit and we would never ever overlook any religion's followers suffering pain and misery. We have always been such a protector, we have always shown that love and friendship. It is very reasonable for Israel to exist in the region. The Israeli children running around in cheer all around in the region, the young men and girls singing merrily, their reciting the Name of Allah in synagogues, Christians reciting the Name of Allah in a very heartfelt manner, worshiping in their churches and Muslims reciting the Name of Allah loudly and filling the mosques, loving one another with a profound love, without making any discrimination in between Shites, Alewites and Sunnis, protecting each other brotherly with a profound affection; that is what we actually want.
In the time of the Moshiach, in the time of the Messiah, all these will come true, nothing on the contrary will ever happen. It is already stated in the Torah. I beg your pardon. In the Torah treating everyone with love is commanded, treating all religions, all faiths with love is commanded. And that is the belief of the Jews anyway. That is an unnecessary fight, that is a plot of the satan and in the time of the King Messiah, Moshiach, the Mahdi, this problem will completely go away and I believe that we are in that time.

Surat al-Ankabut, Verse 14

Surat Al-`Ankabūt (The Spider) verse 14 -

Surat al-Ankabut, Verse 14
“We sent Noah to his people and he remained among them for fifty short of a thousand years; yet the Flood engulfed them while they were wrongdoers.” That is irreligion that is coming to an end. 950 years. As you know, Turks are from the descent of Prophet Noah (as). As you know, Prophet Noah (as) had sons and one of them was Yafes. It is said that Turks descended from him. Indeed, everyone is from the lineage of Prophet Noah (as). Everyone in this world is from the lineage of Noah. We Turks came to Anatolia in 1071, as you know. We settled in Anatolia. Allah granted this country to us in 1071. 1071 plus 950 equals to  2021. What does this mean? Irreligion ends in 2021, by the leave of Allah. Neither Darwinism, nor materialism, nothing of that sort remains by 2021. This is the wisdom in those 950 years, insha’Allah. We, who are the sons of Prophet Noah (as), will spread the Unity of Islam to Anatolia 950 years later. 2021 is the date of victory, insha’Allah. 1071 plus 950.Those dates are not given for no reason in the Qur'an. They definitely mean something. There is reference in this verse that there will be something in 1950s, for there is 1000 and we subscribe 50 from 1000, which means 1950. In 1950s, there is something. The verse gives special codes.

People are trying to make Muslims get used to being cursed lately

People are trying to make Muslims get used to being cursed lately

People are trying to make Muslims get used to
being cursed lately

Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Live Conversation on A9TV dated April 17th, 2013

People are trying to make Muslims get used to being cursed lately. “We are going to curse at you, so get used to it,” they say. They say that is perfectly normal and they can swear how they like. ‘Where is the harm in that?’, ‘We have democracy’, and ‘that is what they do in Europe’, they say. ‘People swear at one another in Europe, so we can swear at you here’, they say. Look, my brother, we are not going to get used to it. I do not curse at anyone. And I do not want anyone to curse at me. If I swear at anyone, he can take me to court. That is his right. And if anyone swears at me, I will do the same. I do not want cursing and swearing. If they want to criticize, they can do that to their hearts’ content. Fifteen years ago and before, the newspapers carried the most unbelievable insults. Just about every day. We brought charges but never got anywhere. We would demand apologies, and the cases would drag on for a year or more. The other side would close it all down under the statute of limitations or something else. People would spread insults and the court cases would go on forever. They would have to apologize in 18 months, by which time they had forgotten about it while the insult had spread and grown and flourished. They rained insults down. But they cannot do that now. This is a blessing on the nation from the present government. They used to be able to hurl the most awful insults at us. They insulted whoever they saw, and there was nothing we could do about it. People were afraid of many journalists. They were afraid of being cursed and put down. People were terrified. People could be exposed to the most awful insults and slanders the moment they got up in the morning. There was nothing we could do about it. ‘Take slanderers to court’, they used to say. They would not even take your statement for a month. Then the case would begin several months after that, five or six months. Cases could last up to two and a half years. But not now. Muslims have their pride and honor and virtue. They do not allow themselves to be insulted. There is no law allowing that. Nobody can be insulted anywhere in the world. There is no such thing as a right to insult people. If you give people the right to insult others, then the rights to beat them and kill them will follow. They even cut Muslim’s throats, like sheep, in Muslim countries. In Europe, someone kills a dog by the side of the road and all Europe makes a huge outcry. But 40-50 people were martyred at the same time the other day in Iraq. Nobody even heard about it. They martyred 60-70 people at the same time in Afghanistan the other day. Nobody said a thing. In other words, people are less valuable than insects. They have got people used to that. Now they are trying to familiarize people with insults of all kinds. We will not allow them. That is unacceptable.

Islam Condemns All Acts Of Terror and Violence, and So It Does With The Boston Attack

Islam Condemns All Acts Of Terror and Violence, and So It Does With The Boston Attack
The recent terrorist attack on the Boston Marathon in the USA is condemned by all true Muslims. We must first state that Islam prohibits all violence and assaults. The Koran, the essential reference point of Islam, contains several statements on the subject.
This terrorist act, in which three people lost their lives and hundreds were injured, was a savage act of misguided foolishness designed to set the Western and Islamic worlds against one another. Such ruthless acts have been used many times in different countries to try and give the West the impression that Islam is a faith that regards violence and terror as legitimate. The September 11th attacks, again carried out in the USA, were certainly the worst of these assaults. Immediately after those attacks, numerous people – including certain politicians and religious figures – issued statements saying that Islam is a religion that supports terror; some even encouraged a religious war against the Muslim world. So it’s safe to say that those acts were to some extent successful. Today we are again hearing statements from various bigots, extremists and some media organizations in the USA encouraging violence against Muslims and their isolation from society. We hope that the American people will be on their guard against such incitement and will recognize them as crude acts of provocation and demagoguery.
The word Islam means “peace and ease.” It is inconceivable for a faith that means that to encourage violence and hatred. In the Koran, verse 32 of Surat al-Ma’ida states quite clearly that someone who kills one person for no reason has committed a crime as awful as if he had killed all mankind. The passage in question refers to the killing of anyone, of whatever faith or race. In other words, a Muslim will not kill a Christian or a Jew or an atheist. Only if a Muslim’s own life is in danger can he use force against someone else, and then only in self-defense. The use of violence for any other reason than self-defense violates the principles of faith of Islam.
The Koran contains many passages encouraging love and affection. The following words from verse 159 of Surah Al ‘Imran, “…It is a mercy from God that you were gentle with them…” makes it abundantly clear that Islam is based on treating people with kindness.
Whoever claims to be a Muslim and says that the faith advocates acts of terror or violence is either an agent provocateur claiming to be a Muslim, or someone who is wholly ignorant of the faith. Someone who says such things out of ignorance will mend his ways if told what the Koran truly says. People can only be properly informed about Islam if no credence is attached to provocation. If everyone knows that Islam views violence and hatred as unacceptable there will be no more issues for provocateurs or extremists to rage about.
There are people trying to incite hostility toward Islam in the Christian and Jewish world, and there are also people trying to incite hostility toward Christianity and Judaism in the Islamic world. These people are bigoted fanatics who issue provocative statements based not on the Koran, but on hadiths they fabricate themselves. This is a very serious and a very real problem in the Islamic world, and we cannot simply dismiss it. All true Muslims are deeply uneasy at such people being regarded as members of the Islamic world and representatives of the faith because these people have nothing to do with the values espoused by Islam. They have deprived themselves of fine feelings such as love, affection and compassion. They are filled with hatred and rage, not only for members of other faiths, but also for most Muslims from different sects. They may hate someone they have never met solely because he belongs to a different group. This is a perverse and unacceptable perspective for Muslims.
Causing members of different faiths and/or ethnicities to fall out and inciting conflict among them has been a technique successfully employed by those wishing to spread war throughout the course of history. Yet this world is wide and fertile enough for everyone to live in happiness and peace and well-being. There is no real reason for conflict or resorting to violence. All the supposed reasons for war and conflict are hollow ruses.
It is much, much easier to live in peace and love than in conflict and war. For example, it is unacceptable for either Palestinians or Israelis to have to live behind walls in fear of bombs, rockets and other weapons. This plight of these two peoples, one descended from the Prophet Ishmael and the other from the Prophet Jacob (peace be upon them both), is a disgrace on all mankind.
Our hope is that people with radical views will ultimately fade away within the moderate, loving and respectful views held by rational people – historically, radical movements inevitably burn out or destroy themselves – but for that to happen it is absolutely essential for sensible people in the Islamic, Christian and Judaic worlds to act as one in a spirit of solidarity. An alliance of good people is essential. Otherwise, neither terror nor acts of violence can ever be entirely overcome.

1453 Surah Yusuf, 34-35

Surah Yusuf, 34-35

Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's interview on A9TV dated November 28, 2012
Surah Yusuf, 34
So his Lord heard him (in his prayer) and turned away from him their snare: verily He heareth and knoweth (all things).
“So his Lord heard  him and turned away from him their snare”, What does 34 [the verse number] remind us of? The plate number of İstanbul. “His Lord heard him”, Hijri 1453, Gregorian calender 2031. In the Gregorian calendar,  1453 is the year İstanbul (Constantinople) was conquered. There is an open reference to İstanbul. “His Lord replied to him”. Many plots will be hatched against Hazrat Mahdi (as). A lot of jinnis, satans, dajjals, female dajjals, male dajjals, they will all plot against Hazrat Mahdi (as) but surely they do not have the might of a fly in the face of Allah’s might. Allah is all mighty.
 Surah Yusuf, Verse 35
Then, after they had seen the Signs, they thought that they should still imprison him for a time.
Then, after they had seen the Signs”, the courts make clear that he is innocent, the evidence is in favor of Prophet Joseph (as). This is also a verse referring to Hazrat Mahdi (as).  “...they thought that they should still imprison him for a time.”
