A single example is enough to see how Darwinism is an utter nonsense

A single example is enough to see how Darwinism is an utter nonsense

English, Spanish, and French magazine, based in Spain, MBC Times International published Harun Yahya’s article “A single example is enough to see how Darwinism is an utter nonsense” (Construccion de una Nueva Civilizacion) in Spanish on March 06th 2014.
You may read the article at the below link.

proteinmolekuluEach Protein Molecule in our bodies acts with discipline to carry out Allah's commands. Allah, the Lord of the worlds, is the One Who creates each molecule to do "absolute must" type operations.

Albumin, which is one of the "carrier" proteins in the blood, binds itself to fats like cholesterol, hormones, toxic gallbladder materials and drugs such as penicillin. Albumin travels with the blood in the body and leaves the poisons which it collects in the liver for neutralization, and carries the nutrients and hormones wherever they are needed throughout the body.

* How does a molecule like albumin, which is made up from atoms and do not have consciousness or knowledge, distinguish between fats, poisons, drugs and nutrients?

* How does the albumin recognize between the liver, gall bladder and stomach and take the substances which it carries to the right place, in the right amount and invariably without error?

* How does it recognize the differences between toxic substances, drugs and nutrients carried in the blood and understand exactly how much should be left in which organ?

The albumin molecule, which is a combination of a few unconscious atoms, knows information that the vast majority of people do not know without proper education, and has performed its duty in every person who has ever lived thus far for millions of years. The capability of showing a consciousness like this doubtlessly takes place through Allah's infinite power and knowledge.

God creates both good and evil in this world; yet in paradise there is peace and tranquility

God creates both good and evil in this world; yet in paradise there is peace and tranquility (29.01.2014)

God creates both good and evil in this world; yet in paradise there is peace and tranquility
Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Live Conversation on A9TV dated January  29th, 2014

Problems and troubles are part of God’s law. Since the antichrist and the Mahdi are created at the same moment. If there were only the Mahdi, there would be tranquility in this world and it [the system of the Mahdi] would not have any effect. Then he would not carry out the duties of the Mahdi. If there were only the antichrist, it would have no meaning in terms of trials [in this world]. His existence has no reason. God creates the two at the same time. [He creates] day and night; good and evil; negative and positive; this is the characteristic of the life of this world.

But in paradise there is only goodness, cleanliness, tranquility and peace. For example, there is no conflict or trouble in Paradise. When you get up one day, you don't come across a problem. Every day is peaceful. There is no sleep but if you want to, you can sleep. There is no tiredness in Paradise. You don't see incidents in the newspapers. There is complete peace and harmony. Of course there is music, fun and laughter but you wouldn't have any problems there.

But in this world, there are cannon balls, tank shells, blasters, planes, air bombings, human screams in the street; anything could happen, because this is a place of trial. Because of that it  has the qualities of both paradise and hell. The year 2014; the number 14 is two times seven. 2014 is a vital date, a very important one. 2017, 2019, 2021, 2023, these are all vital dates. We will see this, insha’Allah, by God’s leave.

Afghanistan’s Future Depends on Pakistan

Afghanistan’s Future Depends on Pakistan

Afghanistan’s Future Depends on Pakistan’s Democratic Success
By Harun Yahya (Adnan Oktar)

After being ruled as a monarchy until 1973, Afghanistan became a republic (Daoud’s Republic of Afganistan) with the declaration of a constitution by Daoud Khan in 1977. With the help of the Marxist-socialist party of PDPA, People’s Democratic Party of Afghanistan, Daoud led a bloodless coup to oust King Zahir Shah from power. However, the passage to a republic also brought with it conflict in this ancient land made up of different tribes. Generally speaking, Daoud Khan’s secular government was also made up of two rival Marxist factions known as Khalq (The Masses) and Parcham (The Flag). After achieving a coup, Daoud turned against both of these groups and tried to exterminate them from the government. His failure to exterminate all the leaders of these two Marxist parties, would ultimately lead to his own demise, during the coup lead by the Khalq’s to remove Daoud from power. Once in power, the Khalq’s achieved superiority with Russian backing. Following popular protests against military agreements reached with the USSR, the Khalq’s already under Soviet influence, took a decision to invite the Soviets into the country. This initiated a conflict that would profoundly affect all the countries in the region but also Afghanistan and the Soviets in particular.

From the outset, The Marxist parties of Khalq and Parcham were bitter rivals, and contrary to the Soviets’ expectations, the military, and low-ranking soldiers in particular, who made up 85% of the army, took up arms alongside the people resisting the Red Army. At the international level, the United States became concerned about Soviet ambitions for expansion into the Middle East, and began supporting the resistance. This combined with the difficult terrain in Afghanistan, Pakistan’s backing for the Afghan mujahedeen, and the worsening Soviet economy created the conditions for a long and painful war. As a result, Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev was forced to announce that Russian troops would very gradually be withdrawn from the country. During the invasion, civil war and turmoil, which lasted for 28 years, 1.5 million people lost their lives and around 6 million had to flee the country as refugees.

AfterSoviet withdrawal, the country was drawn into a very different form of turmoil. Two major groups under the leadership of Hikmetyar and Rabbani began fighting among themselves, and a period of further horrific blood civil war began. It was in this period that Taliban movement was established.

The New Period, September 11 and the Taliban

Following the attack on the Twin Towers and the Pentagon, the United States sent troops to Afghanistan under the pretext that it had provided assistance for the Taliban and Osama bin Laden’s al-Qaeda organization, whom it regarded as responsible for the attacks. America was not the only country that sent troops there. Soldiers from 30 other countries joined, including troops from Turkey, which enjoys a great historical and religious proximity to the region, were now in the country, on the condition they took no direct part in the fighting. During this process, which started in 2001, some 14,200 troops on both sides and 30,000 civilians lost their lives. Scores of people are still dying every week from bombs and in clashes.

Following the death of Osama bin Laden, however, the Taliban took control over much of the country because of popular sentiment against the NATO intervention and the terrible consequences it gave rise to. Neither the Afghan Army nor NATO forces had any serious control outside the capital, Kabul.

After Karzai, and Pakistan-Taliban Relations

The year 2014 is very important for Afghanistan, because by the end of this year American and NATO forces will gradually be withdrawn from the country. New elections for a new president will also be held. While he has differences of opinion with America on some matters, President Karzai’s term, whom the US has supported from the outset, is coming to an end, and he has no chance of being elected again. Many candidates are taking part in the elections, due to be held in April, and this newly elected government will face serious problems. Improving relations with Pakistan will play a particularly critical role in resolving the problem of the Taliban, who are becoming more embedded in the country every day. Pakistan is the country that can play the greatest role in influencing the Taliban to adopt a more moderate and democratic line. Everyone is agreed that peace, calm and security can never come to the region unless an agreement is reached with the Taliban, who are very strong in both Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Enter Turkey, a country that is playing host to peace talks between the two neighbors and ensuring diplomatic coordination is attracting attention. As a longstanding friend of both countries, Turkey has striven for the building of peace for many years. Turkey has also contributed to talks in Ankara between the governments of Pakistan and Afghanistan in the new period, and is the only country to possess the support of the Taliban, taking a tacit part in the talks. Of course, there are countries with major military and political influence in the region viz a viz America and Russia that also need to be convinced to contribute to this peace process.

Afghan and Turkish officials discussing the replacement of NATO forces who will be leaving the country by 2014 with Turkish troops, have made significant progress. Building relations not just with its immediate neighbors in the region, such as Syria and Iraq, but also with Afghanistan and Pakistan, which are further away with which it has close historical links, is a telltale sign of a more active foreign policy on the part of Turkey. Turkey now has to discharge a historic responsibility by always prioritizing peace and togetherness in relations with countries in the region, inclusive of major powers with interests in the region. That obligation requires Turkey to have good economic relations with these countries.

All these developments are grounds for optimism for Turkey, Afghanistan, and Pakistan, countries that were good friends until only a century ago. The friendship and love between Turkish women and the Afghan and Pakistani women who sent their gold bracelets to support Turks during the Gallipoli Campaign is but one example of this. The training and defense services provided by Turkish troops in Afghanistan and Pakistan ever since the time of the Ottoman Empire are the product of this feeling of brotherhood.

In addition, The Republic of Turkey has recently been a source of hope for all the oppressed peoples of the world. Turkey is the most important country for the purpose of building a world in which peace, well-being and security are established. Afghanistan and Pakistan need Turkey, a country thousands of kilometers away, in order to attain peace, and both Afghanistan and Pakistan need it to live in peace with each other as well as their neighbors. Turkey is therefore an important country acting as a conduit, bridging and fostering understanding among them.

It’s important to introduce the Qur'an to children

It’s important to introduce the Qur'an to children (12.03.2014)

It’s important to introduce the Qur'an to children
Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Live Conversation on A9TV dated March  12th, 2014

Parents should read the Qur'an to their children, even if it’s only a couple of pages. They should just open it and show it to them. Because the kids don't know about the Qur'an. Usually many people don't ever open a Qur'an in their lifetime. If you want to give the greatest gift to your child, open up a Qur'an page, read a couple of verses, and then maybe another page and read some more verses. Then you would be introducing him to the Qur'an’s moral values. Or for instance, the young people do not know about the Treatise of Light collection. For instance, the Barla Addendum. It would be a great gift to give a small version to your child. Let’s look at it and see what it says: ‘Telling you about patience and trust in God in the face of these undesirable events is not necessary [because you already have it]. Actually you taught us the value of patience and trust in God, as before we used to complain about the slightest things, and you showed us how precious and joyful it is to trust God. Thank God, since that day, we are able to comprehend and appreciate the meanings of things better.’

For example a child doesn't know what is pain, or hurting, he doesn't know its causes, or the wisdom behind it: But when he reads the Treatise of Light, he understands that it is a test, he understands that there is wisdom and a good reason behind it. Then he won’t fall into childish traps of foolishness. Lots of dangerous things happen to children, and it’s happening because they don't know the Qur'an.

It would be great to read to them  from the Quran, some from the Treatise of Light and some from Harun Yahya books. For example ‘Pains of the False World’, or ‘The Religion of the Ignorant’ will greatly help a kid mature. Because in this way, he will be able to clearly see the dangers of a dark world which is the ‘religion of the ignorant’ and save himself from that. He would learn about the false worlds and then the true world. Just reading the ‘Religion of the Ignorant’ would completely change a kid’s life because Harun Yahya's books have a compact, concise style that effectively convey immense information.

When I was a kid, I was unaware of such books, I didn't know. It was really difficult to see a religious book around. We had a Qur'an in our house but it was in Arabic language and was hanging on the wall. For years it stayed there. We never knew back then what was written inside. But if you teach a kid the Qur'an, only ten pages of it, his whole world will change. Because kids already have good hearts, but when they are taught only evil, it creates a one-sided education. You shouldn't think ‘What would it change if I tell this to my child?’ Just do it and it will create a revolution in his soul. Maybe you won’t realize the change, but in reality his whole world will change. He will start to live in a different world, and even one page would suffice.

Give a copy of  ‘Quran's Miracles’ book to a kid, and his life would change. Giving books to children is very important, because then those kids would save their friends too. Usually children teach each other things that would influence them negatively, because they don't know any better. When I was a kid, I never saw a child that was talking about the Qur'an or Islam. Children are usually told wrong, strange, and unnecessary things. That’s why it would be a great gift to teach children about Islam from the Qur'an, the miracles of creation , Harun Yahya books, the Treatise of Light collection.

The Unending Storm in the Middle East: SECTARIAN WARS

The Unending Storm in the Middle East: SECTARIAN WARS

Socio-economic, cultural Arabic language newspaper based in Ramallah, Al Hadath, published Harun Yahya’s article “The Unending Storm in the Middle East: SECTARIAN WARS” on March 184th 2014.

You may read the article at this link.

The widespread selling of indulgences, certificates showing that the sins committed by Christians had supposedly been forgiven by God, was first criticized by a German monk in 1517. These criticisms then spread rapidly. Nobody at that time knew that these criticisms would lead to developments that would devastate vast sections of Europe, depose kings and alter borders forever. The result was the emergence of the sect we know as Protestantism, opposed to the Catholic Church, and a literal storm of war that swept over all of Europe. That storm, the Thirty Years' War, not only led to the destruction of states but to the loss of almost one in three of the continent’s population!
That terrible slaughter is an important example of the tragedies to which sectarian wars can lead, and stands as a huge deterrent. That threat is now erupting in all its savagery in the Middle East and having the same destructive effect on Muslims.
The Intellectual Infrastructure of the Terror Organizations Inciting Sectarian Wars, and the Example of ISIS
When Saddam Hussein was deposed, many people, especially the US and the Iraqi people, thought that everything would now be rosy; yet increasingly severe sectarian fighting came to threaten the entire region.
One of the terror organizations responsible for inciting sectarian conflicts is the “Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant” (abbreviated as ISIS). It portrays itself as a supposed Islamic group, but is far removed from the lofty moral values of Islam. It is known for its terror attacks on Shiite Muslims. However, the true face and intellectual basis for the terrorist attacks of ISIS, which is affiliated to al-Qaeda, emerged with the exposure of the names of its top leaders by the Iraqi Interior Ministry.
The Iraqi Interior Ministry published photographs of the organization’s leadership and emphasized that one thing they all had in common was that they had served in the Iraqi Army during the time of Saddam Hussein. These leaders include Abu Ayman al-Iraqi, Abu Ahmad al-Alwani (real name Waleed Jassem al-Alwani) and Haji Bakr (real name Samir Abd Mouhammad al-Khleifawi). They were all raised in the culture of violence of the Ba’athist regime in Saddam’s time.
The Ba’ath Party is a leftist party and espouses Arab socialism. Ba’athism has nothing to do with the beautiful moral values of Islam.
The way that the Ba’athist regime adopts violence as a political tool to enforce its policies stems from the party’s links to Marxism and materialism. Marxism regards acts of violence and terror in which innocent people are hurt as necessary and useful because they prepare the climate of turmoil essential for revolution. As all Marxist publications say, it is a fact that Marxist socialist regimes regard the use of violence against their own citizens as legitimate in order to maintain power. Like many other Marxist parties, the Ba’athists also had no qualms about carrying out assassinations, bombings or even mass slaughter.
The leaders of the ISIS terror organization, which claims to be acting in the name of Islam (Islam is most certainly beyond that), lived under this Marxist indoctrination of violence and served in the army of the Marxist administration. These people’s false intellectual infrastructure never changed after the change of regime in Iraq, and they never understood or adopted the beautiful moral values of Islam, which stress love and affection.
In other words, a number of people who were raised in Saddam’s time removed their Ba’ath uniforms and adopted a supposed Islamic guise, and are still persisting with the same culture of violence. Those people who, in the past, killed Kurds in the north for the Ba’athist regime, are now perpetrating murder, supposedly in the name of religion for ISIS.
One can see the same effect in Syria today. It is true that the ruling elite in Syria consists of Nusayris; however, it would be very wrong to regard events in Syria as some manner of Sunni rebellion against the Nusayris. The reason for the uprising is not the sect of the administration, but the actions of a regime that oppresses its own people. Saddam’s Ba’ath Party and Assad’s Ba’ath Party are both socialist leftist parties with a common ideology that adopted the same Marxist and Leninist terror techniques to intimidate their peoples and both have systematically and ruthlessly repressed their respective citizens.
By applying the wicked methods of the Ba’athists instead of the lofty moral values of Shiite Islam, the Assad regime has lost all prestige and legitimacy in the eyes of the Syrian people. The bloodshed in Syria has nothing to do with whether people are Nusayri or Shiite; in all schools of Islam, Shiite, Sunni, Jafari or Maliqi, human beings are sacred entities that bear the spirit of God. The incorrect ideas that espouse the opposite, originating from fanatics and depicted as actually being part of the faith, do not reflect the Islamic perspective toward human beings. As we can see, however, sectarian divisions provide an advantage for those groups that wish to establish a climate of turmoil and terror in the region, and thus cause Muslims to face a fight for survival under very harsh conditions including war, hunger and cold.
It is a fact that some Muslims fall prey to incitement and attach credence to fabricated hadiths and fanatical ideas that support slaughter stemming from sectarian division: So much so that some fanatical religious teachers have issued fatwas, which have absolutely no place in Islam, to the effect that the killing of people from other sects and faiths is legitimate.
However, the idea of killing someone who thinks differently or believes differently has absolutely no place in Islam. Indeed, Islam requires us to avoid any behavior that might make such people feel uneasy in any way, let alone killing them. God says in the Qur’an that the way to wage jihad, to strive to spread the moral values of Islam in other words, is not by shedding blood, but through a struggle of ideas based on love and affection. This is how the Qur’an commands the finest behavior, even toward people with whom a state of hostility applies:
“A good action and a bad action are not the same. Repel the bad with something better and, if there is enmity between you and someone else he will be like a bosom friend.” (Surat al-Fussilat, 34)
It is a very grave error for Muslims to attack one another with rage and hatred despite this explicit command in the Quran. Muslims must at once abandon their error by setting aside all sectarian differences and unite in the way that God ordains. God has commanded in the Qur’an that all Muslims must act together as a single community:
“Hold fast to the rope of God all together, and do not separate. Remember God’s blessing to you when you were enemies and He joined your hearts together so that you became brothers by His blessing. You were on the very brink of a pit of the Fire and He rescued you from it. In this way God makes His signs clear to you, so that hopefully you will be guided.” (Surah Al-Imr’an, 103)
As revealed in the Qur’an, every dispute can be resolved by rational people of good conscience in a climate of peace, calm and compassion. Those who stand up for peace today will, by God’s leave, be instrumental in a most positive change.

Mr. Adnan Oktar's Interview with i24News TV of Israel (February 20th, 2014)

Mr. Adnan Oktar's Interview with i24News TV of Israel (February 20th, 2014)

ALI SADUN ENGIN: Good afternoon, dear viewers. Today we have a guest from abroad. His name is Mael David Benoliel. He is coming from i24News TV which is broadcasting in English, Arabic and French in Israel. Welcome.
MAEL DAVID BENOLIEL: Thank you. Very honored to be here.
ADNAN OKTAR: And we are both honored and delighted; it is such a beauty for us to welcome you here.
MAEL DAVID BENOLIEL: Thank you. Thank you very much. So my first question is like this; what is this place? I understand that we are in your studio, you are running a TV channel. Tell me about that please?
ADNAN OKTAR: A humble but influential, sincere TV channel that strives for the goodness and the wellness of the people, the happiness of the world and for all the religions to be able to live together as brothers. This is a TV channel in which modern, democratic, enlightened people who advocate science and love are putting forth their efforts.
MAEL DAVID BENOLIEL: Okay. What kind of programs do you have here in this TV channel?
ADNAN OKTAR: We are making discussions of all sorts of subject matters; scientific, religious, moral and political.
MAEL DAVID BENOLIEL: Okay. I understand also that he is like running the shows. Right? He is also directing the channel. He is hosting the channel in this proper house. How does he do it? I know that it is very difficult to run a channel. So my question is how does he do it?
ADNAN OKTAR: It is really very enjoyable. It is very nice. Having guests is a blessing. The Prophet Abraham (pbuh) also had guests. He welcomed them and he enjoyed doing so greatly. He was very happy to host them, he used to treat them beautiful food. And we, as the children of the Prophet Abraham (pbuh), are on his path. We like guests, we love having guests.
MAEL DAVID BENOLIEL: Okay. It wasn't my question. My question was; how does he run a channel, direct a channel, host the channel in his house and to run the shows? I mean, it is a lot of work.
ADNAN OKTAR: This is like our house, everywhere we go, the whole world is our home.
MAEL DAVID BENOLIEL: Nice, okay. When does it start first? Where did this idea to build a channel come from?
ADNAN OKTAR: Actually, this was like a utopia for us. It did not appear to be something we could have done. We've prayed to God for this and God bestowed that blessing upon us quite easily. We were thinking about this, twenty years ago as well; we were saying "How nice it would be if we had a TV channel" but we thought it was far-fetched. And we thanked God when it finally happened. Actually it was not that difficult, it happened very easily. It actually is a humble TV channel. Because it is founded on thought, ideas, love, goodness and beauty, and because its goal remains solely in these lines, no need for such extensive expenses have occurred.
MAEL DAVID BENOLIEL: Alright. But still, you guys need money to run the channel. Where does this money come from?
ADNAN OKTAR: This is not something that I personally am interested in. I mean, this is not a company that I own. This is a company a few of our friends jointly founded. Consequently, because they are businessmen, they are the ones financing this effort. They are the ones organizing this company. I do not inspect these matters in such details. I do not know the details.
MAEL DAVID BENOLIEL: No problem. Okay. My next question is; What is the main goal of the channel? What does he want to achieve with this channel?
ADNAN OKTAR: [Our goal is] To make the whole of humanity happy and live in joy. We want beauties, happiness, abundance and goodness to spread to the whole world. We want the fights and wars to end. We want weapons to turn into beneficial tools, into refrigerators, washing machines for instance. We want no blood to be shed in the world, we want the religious people to live by their religions freely. We want people from all walks of life to be able to live freely. We want irreligious people, atheists to be able to live freely in this world as first class citizens as well. We want a democratic, enlightened, reasonable worldview based on the fear and love of God to prevail in the world.
MAEL DAVID BENOLIEL: Okay. It is a really, really good and nice idea and I like it very much, but it seems to me that it is almost impossible to achieve. Is he conscious of that?
ADNAN OKTAR: It is not impossible. The Prophet Moses (pbuh) has foretold this to us four thousand years ago. In the time of Moshiach, the Mahdi, Islam, that is to say those who believe in the Oneness of God, will prevail in the world. Moshiach will appear and we will rebuild the Prayer House of the Prophet Solomon (pbuh). The time for that has come. We are at the End Times of this world. The Last Day is very imminent. This is confirmed by the information given in the Torah and also in the hadiths. We can also understand this from the works of Said Nursi. This is also confirmed when we look into things scientifically. All the portents foretold in the Torah related to the last period of the world have been realized. All of them can be seen now. The world is going towards unity and togetherness. People are very fervent and very zealous for this. Piety has increased among Jews as well. Even the foundation of Israel is a portent of the appearance of the Moshiach. People rushing towards irreligiousness is also a portent of the appearance of the Moshiach. Consequently, the time for this to happen, for Islam to prevail in the world, I mean for all the people to live together happily in unity, for Christians, Jews and Muslims to live together as brothers, is very imminent.
MAEL DAVID BENOLIEL: So, what does he think about Israel and the Jewish people? I want to know if he thinks that the Jewish people can live peacefully in Israel, that the Jewish people deserve to live in Israel?
ADNAN OKTAR: Let us learn about that from the Qur'an, let us ask about this from the Qur'an and see what God says about this. There is a knowledge given by God to us, Muslims here. God says in Surat Al-Isra; verse 104 , - I seek refuge in God from the satan- ; "And We said unto the Children of Israel after him: Dwell in the land; but when the promise of the Hereafter cometh to pass We shall bring you as a crowd gathered out of various nations." Here the fact that the Jews will be living in Israel is explicitly stated here, in this verse.
MAEL DAVID BENOLIEL: Okay. So alright, I understood. So let us go back to 20 years ago. What happened to him that he actually changed his mind, right? Before, 20 years ago, this is not what he was thinking, right? So, if he can explain me what happened to him?
ADNAN OKTAR: People improve in time. People mature. God says that people reach maturity at the age of 40. That is to say being 20 and being 40 is not the same for a man. It is evident that I will improve even further, I will go towards becoming even better. When one abides by the Qur'an—and I do—it is seen that such a person would constantly progress towards better. During our childhood we were told that the Jews are the source of all things evil in the world; This is how we were trained. But later on, when I've done my research and when I look into things, I have seen that satan is the enemy of the prophet's descendants and I have understood that it wants the descendants of the prophet to be erased from the face of this world, and I decided to stand up against the work of the satan attempting to erase the children of the Prophet David (pbuh), the Prophet Abraham (pbuh) and the Prophet Moses (pbuh) from the face of this world, as a strong movement, as a man of intellect.
MAEL DAVID BENOLIEL: Okay. I also understood that you have a lot of supporters but also a lot of haters. What can you tell me about that? Why is it like this?
ADNAN OKTAR: Enemies are of no importance to me, because God is the One Who creates everything. God is the One Who creates my friends. I put my trust in God. God is enough for His servant, if that servant is sincere. In the Qur'an God says—I seek refuge in God from the satan—"Is God not enough for His servant?" (Surah Al-Zumar, 36)
MAEL DAVID BENOLIEL: Okay. So my next question is like this: What he says to me and for the channel? It is not something that we hear a lot from a Muslim like him, from a Muslim believer. I guess jihadist people are not into the same, it is not the same Islam, right? What does he want to do to make them think like he does?
ADNAN OKTAR: For those people to come to our perspective means for them to come to the perspective of the Torah and the Qur'an. Peace and love is demanded in the Torah and in the Qur'an. Doing anything to the contrary means to serve the satan anyway. For instance, I have been threatened by the Al-Qaida terror organization because of my views. Furthermore some individuals are being tried right now because of such attempts. Because I protect and watch over the Jews, because I've been preaching about the truths of the Qur'an, about the fact that the Qur'an is enough to the religious people, I've been threatened. And that is an honor for me; I have felt happy about such a threat, I was pleased about that. The commands of the Torah and the Qur'an will definitely prevail in the world. I mean the world does not operate according to what people say, God is the One Who runs the world. Consequently what God says will come true. For instance in Zechariah 9:10; "I will take away the chariots... and the battle bow will be broken... He [King Messiah] will proclaim peace to the nations…" That means all nations will hear this peace from the mouth of Moshiach. This is from Zechariah 9:10.
Actually you can read from the commands of the Torah from here. You can read until Hoshea 2:18. There are three passages from the Torah.
"Burn them [the weapons] up—the small shields and the large shields, the bows and arrows, the war clubs and the spears... They will use them for fuel... " The Torah tells us that all the weapons will be abolished from the world. This is exactly the same in the hadiths as well. "… declares the Sovereign Lord." Ezekiel 39:9-10.
ALI SADUN ENGIN: "In the last days... He [the Lord]... will settle disputes for many peoples... Nations will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore. Every man will sit under his own vine and under his own fig tree, and no one will make them afraid." [Micah, 4:1-4]
ALI SADUN ENGIN: "Bow and sword and battle I will abolish from the land, so that all may lie down in safety." [Hosea, 2:18]
MAEL DAVID BENOLIEL: Okay, I wanted to know. I was asking as myself. How does he define himself? He is like an Imam? He is like a Rabbi? He is like [what exactly]? Cause he uses always the verses of the Qur'an, so he is like an Imam?
ADNAN OKTAR: I am a simple Turkish citizen. I am a simple man.
MAEL DAVID BENOLIEL: Funny question? Okay. He has a lot of supporters. We will go back to this question. He has a lot of supporters. Does he know who are his supporters? And how many are they and where are they?
ADNAN OKTAR: I have my friends who love me. I mean, I have always had group of friends consisting of about two or three hundred people. Their number sometimes exceeds and sometimes goes below three hundred, but our group of friends always remain somewhere around three hundred people. They love me and I love them. And in such a sincere friendship, altogether we are striving to serve Islam, to serve the Qur'an and the humanity.
MAEL DAVID BENOLIEL: Okay. So let us go back to the Channel. How many people are watching the channel?
ADNAN OKTAR: The number is considerably high. I mean especially among the people known as the elite class, I mean the university youth, let us say the intellectually elite class predominantly follow our channel, the intellectuals are following us. Actually our impact can be observed clearly in the social media and the press.
Of course our impact is not through television only; I also have more than three hundred books published. These books have been translated into seventy- six different foreign languages. The number of the translated languages is about to reach eighty, we are working on that. Thirty million of my books have been sold or distributed within a year. This is the extend of our works. I mean thirty million books have been published. But of course these are not only published in Turkey, they are also published in Arabian countries, in the United States and elsewhere.
For instance in Iran, only my books are allowed as Sunni works. Others are forbidden in Iran. In the same way, only my books are allowed in Russia as Islamic books. Other books are not allowed to be printed but mine are freely published in Russia.
MAEL DAVID BENOLIEL: Okay. Did he travel to Israel before?
ADNAN OKTAR: No
MAEL DAVID BENOLIEL: No? Why not?
ADNAN OKTAR: Because I have never gone abroad.
MAEL DAVID BENOLIEL: Yes? Why? Did you not travel to the US? To Paris? Champs Elysee?
ADNAN OKTAR: Because of our intense activities, I never even go on holiday. I have never gone on a holiday for thirty five years.
MAEL DAVID BENOLIEL: Okay. My question is, if he thinks Israel is as important as is written in the Qur'an, why doesn't he come and visit us? The Holy Land?
ADNAN OKTAR: There is a time for that as well. We will come. We will come in the very near future. While Moshiach walks down the Mount of Olives, we will be beside him, insha'Allah.
MAEL DAVID BENOLIEL: Okay, that is it. Thank you very much.
ADNAN OKTAR: I thank you. Masha'Allah
MAEL DAVID BENOLIEL: Masha'Allah.

God reveals in the Qur’an that Muslims can marry women from the People of the Book

God reveals in the Qur’an that Muslims can marry women from the People of the Book (21.02.2014)

God reveals in the Qur’an that Muslims can marry women from the People of the Book
Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Live Conversation on A9TV dated February  21th, 2014

Adnan Oktar: The People of the Book are specially protected by Almighty God. There is a verse; God tells us to treat them nicely and in a compassionate way and God says that we can marry their women. God says that we can invite them to dine or eat with them. He tells us that they can come to our houses and we can go to theirs. God tells us to be their friends and marry them. Look: marry the People of the Book!

But you say this: “Master what business do you have with the Jews?” There will be Islamic Union, and Jews and Christians will all be in it. There will be an alliance with Christians. The system of the Mahdi will prevail. Look; this rabbi who came here is waiting for the Moshiach. He is waiting for the Moshiach with enthusiasm and his whole community is waiting for the Moshiach too. What is Moshiach’s duty? Saving the world from irreligiousness, Darwinism and materialism; turning the world into a fair ground. Ending all pains. Both the Moshiach (Mahdi) and the Prophet Jesus (pbuh) have come. They will both appear very soon. The reason behind the incidents in Turkey is the system of the Mahdi. It is nice that a Jewish rabbi came to Turkey. Show some compassion; they are servants of God. They have remained loyal to the Prophet Moses (pbuh) for four thousand years. They never abandoned their faith. They were careful about right and wrong. They said that God is One. They believe in all prophets and most of the rabbis that I have talked to say that they believe our Prophet (pbuh) as a prophet. Therefore enmity towards Jews, Christians or hatred towards Buddhists or atheists; it is wrong. It is unreasonable and cruel. God could have created you as an atheist, a Jew or a Christian. God has created you as a Muslim, thanks be to God. But our duty towards them is told in the Qur’an. We must be compassionate and loving towards them. But some are siding with cruelty. This is wrong.

What is the appearance of Dukhan [smoke] in the End Times?

What is the appearance of Dukhan [smoke] in the End  Times?
Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Live Conversation on A9TV dated March  13th, 2014

It is important to be aware that all these incidents are supposed to happen in the End Times and be patient and joyful knowing that good days are close at hand.

The Mahdi system, the appearance of Jesus, the appearance of Dabbat-al Ard, the appearance of the Dukhan [smoke], these are all incidents that took place in our century. The Qur'an gave a subtle message about the appearance of the smoke. ‘Dukhan’ in Arabic [in addition to smoke] also means anarchy and unrest, bloodshed, turmoil. It refers to intense social movements, the high cost of living, famine and people suffering. It means unrest, terrorism, and people suffering so much that they won’t be able to discern each other anymore. In addition to its first meaning, which is ‘smoke’ that we are all familiar with, these are the other meanings of the word. Therefore, this dukhan appears in the End  Times. After a while the smoke will clear out, everything will be visible, but everyone should be patient insha’ Allah.

In the End Times, people will be ashamed to say they pray to God

In the End Times, the antichrist will try to corner Muslims. In Surah al-Alaq, God says ‘...they will try to prevent people from praying’. The antichrist is portraying prayer as something to be ashamed of. Sometimes some people enter into the service of the antichrist with or without knowing, they serve him or talk like him, without even realizing it. For example, when they ask ‘Do you really pray?’, the person says ‘No way, how can you think I’d do that?’. They say ‘But that’s what we heard, that’s what they told us.’ ‘It’s not true, it’s my private life. I’d have told you if I was, but it’s not true’, he answers.

But praying is a beauty to be proud of, right? When someone asks you ‘Are you compassionate?’, obviously you would answer ‘Yes, I am’, right? You wouldn't say ‘It’s my private life, I can’t tell’. He should be proud of it, but he is afraid, the mountains of fear are scaring him. Or for example, they ask us why we support the AKP. How can I not, especially when the situation is like this now? If such a question is asked like you are being threatened, you would of course be drawn to people who are praying, and you would shy away from people who show prayer as something to be ashamed of. There is nothing surprising about that. No one should think any differently about this. Everything is clear. One hadith says ‘...in the end of times, the antichrist will show some places as heaven, and people who go there will see that actually where they went is hell.’ For example he thinks he is in heaven, that he will have fun; but he sees there are drugs, prostitution, insults, threats, danger, death and he finds himself in the middle of hell. Another hadith says: ‘If any of you sees those days, go to the place which is shown as fire’. Because this is the End Times. The hadith says: ‘He should go to the river that looks like fire, shut his eyes, bow his head down and drink out of it, because it is beautiful cold water’. In other words, Islam will be shown to you like a horrible thing, but you approach Islam and the Qur'an, and you will find peace. For example, we explain how Qur'anic Islam is the real Islam, the free Islam, the modern Islam, the way the companions practiced Islam and many react: ‘It is fire’, ‘It is very dangerous’, ‘They are going to hell’, ‘They are not wearing headscarves’, ‘They are listening to music’, ‘They are wearing nice clothes, ‘Ladies are putting on make up’, ‘They are going to hell’ they say. ‘If any of you sees those days, go to the place which is shown as fire’. It is a beautiful life, says Prophet Mohammad (pbuh).

‘The antichrist will have a mountain of bread next to him.’ Sahih Muslim passes on the same hadith as follows: ‘The antichrist will be accompanied by mountains of bread and meat and rivers of water’. In other words, they will intimidate people with the threat of lack of food, and will try to use them for their evil purposes. For example they give them the message that ‘If you are religious, you cannot succeed'; if you are religious, doors will be closed to you, you’ll be destroyed if you say you are praying, they’ll destroy you if you say you fraternize with religious people, you’ll be destroyed if you say you met Adnan Hodja, it’ll be the end of you if you say you know other hodjas, if you say you read the Qur'an, you’ll be ruined. Said Nursi says that they will threaten people with lack of food, lack of future and get them on his side, ‘They will fall onto his roof and become his prisoner’ says Said Nursi.

Another hadith says ‘Those who don't follow the antichrist, will face difficulties.’ And what will those following the antichrist say? [They will say]: ‘I don't know the Muslims, I don't pray, I don't fast, I don't practice Islam, or follow Qur'an’. And then they say ‘Perfect then. Now we’ll like you, elect you, praise you. By the way, do you happen to know this hodja?’ He answers ‘No way, why would I?’ They say ‘It’s just we heard it, they even said you were praying.’ He answers ‘Definitely not’. The others say: ‘We also didn't think you would, but we just heard that, and it would be like a disaster, especially before the elections. It’s not true, right?’

He says ‘It’s a complete lie, I’m definitely not praying. This is a private question, why do you pry into my private life?’. This shows the intensity of the End Times. He says, ‘There is no way I would fraternize with Muslims, I’ve never met them’. But when he is asked ‘Do you know this communist?’, he says ‘Of course, we are really good buddies.’

Or they ask him: ‘Do you know this Darwinist, that materialist?’ He says: ‘I always talk to him, we are such good friends. We always get together, he is like a brother to me. I like him a lot.’ But when he is asked ‘What about this Muslim? Do you know him?’ He says ‘Definitely not, I never would ’.

These things are normal in the End Times. It is even narrated in the hadiths that the antichrist will kill people who don't follow him. Indeed, look around the world, there are disasters everywhere. He retaliates by killing. The satans will tell the antichrist ‘Tell us what you want and we’ll do it’. And he will say ‘Go and tell people I am their god’. In other words, tell them humans are the result of coincidences, that the universe popped into existence coincidentally, what Darwin said is true, tell them there is no god. He sends satans all around the world. Listen: ‘God will send him the satans and the satans will tell the antichrist tell us what you want and we’ll do it.’

'The antichrist will have one day and one nights' distance between his two feet. In one stride, he will cover long distances. With his right hand he will grab the clouds and watch the Sun and the stars.’ This is obviously a description of someone riding in a plane. How else could someone feel like he is grabbing the clouds? He is passing through the clouds, he is grabbing the clouds? How can he watch the Sun move? Because the plane moves as the Sun rises, and because he moves too, the rising continues for him. Or for example he starts flying while the Sun is setting, and it keeps rising as he moves and stops only towards the midday. ‘The antichrist will have one day and one nights' distance between his two feet’. In other words he will move very fast; this hadith refers to a speed of 300 or 400 km/h.
