There are no rules about how to read the Quran; the Quran is a completion of a Muslim's life

There are no rules about how to read the Quran; the Quran is a completion of a Muslim's life:

"One is not supposed to read the Quran wearing short pants, but your students do so," writes Sezer Gurbuz. One should not read the Quran without performing ablution. One should be sitting on their knees to read the Quran. There should not be any music when one reads it. No music should come from outside. So, as it is difficult to fulfill these obligations, what do you do?

Adnan Oktar: You put the Quran inside a cover it with a nice veil and put it on the wall. You dust it every two months. That's it. But when you can read the Quran wearing short-pants or without ablution, it will become your bosom friend. You will embrace it and it will become a part of you, your life. The Quran loves you with or without ablution, with or without shorts, as long as you always keep it by your side. Read it day and night. Put it under your pillow when you go to sleep. Do not leave it ever. For the sake of respecting the Quran, you alienate yourself from the Quran, let alone respecting it. Some people put it on the wall and some goes even further and say, "I do not sit in a room where there is Quran" or "I should not enter where there is Quran" they say. In that case, the only solution left is to get the Quran out of your house. Because when they take the Quran out of their house, they feel relieved. They say, "I do not lie down in a room where there is Quran.

The life is not lived where there is the Quran," they say. It can be lived. You can play music or stretch your legs and lie down around the Quran. You can read the Quran while you are lying down on your bed; there is nothing wrong with it. You can read it while wearing shorts or undershirt. This is the SCHEME OF SATAN TO ALIENATE PEOPLE FROM THE QURAN. The Quran is your life so you should keep it by your side in all parts of your life, be it in your car, under your pillow, or even when you visit the market. It should be with you wherever you go. Do not be afraid, there is nothing wrong with it. The Quran loves you. But by doing so, you will only distance yourself from the Quran. Do not fall in to this trap.

They play a similar game on women as well. They say, "Do not touch the Quran during your period. And do not go to the mosque. Do not perform prayers. Do not remember God." This way, you spend the majority of your life AWAY FROM THE QURAN. In other words, you take away the one third of your life. And with what is left of it you say, "Hell will swarm with women. The 99% of those in hell will be women." You say, "Satan is the companion of the women." What is your problem with women? You do everything you can to ALIENATE THEM FROM RELIGION. You call them "half-wits." You call them "inhuman." You call them "Semi-human." You say "Their words are invalid." You say ,"Do the opposite of what women tell you." What is this hatred? What kind of mentality is this? Even if you do not do this out of hatred, you are still on the wrong path. You are on a horrible path. They are oblivious of their actions or the damage their actions cause".

AN-NUR - The Light

http://www.harunyahya.com/tr/Names-of-Allah/16777/AN-NUR---The-Light
Allah is the Light of the heavens and Earth. The metaphor of His Light is that of a niche in which is a lamp, the lamp inside a glass, the glass like a brilliant star, lit from a blessed tree, an olive, neither of the east nor of the west, its oil all but giving off light even if no fire touches it. Light upon Light. Allah guides to His Light whoever He wills, makes metaphors for mankind, and has knowledge of all things. In houses that Allah has permitted to be built and in which His name is remembered, there are men who proclaim His glory morning and evening. ( Surat an-Nur, 24:35-36)
Allah, the Light of the heavens and Earth, manifests this attribute upon people. As a blessing, He illuminates His servants who believe in Him, recognize and appreciate His greatness, turn to Islam (the only just religion), and live by its morality:
Is he whose breast is opened to Islam, and who is therefore illuminated by his Lord…? Woe to those whose hearts are hardened against the remembrance of Allah! Such people are clearly misguided. ( Surat az-Zumar, 39:22)
For the unbelievers, however, there is not a single source of “illumination.” Moreover, they cannot find a way out of the darkness in which they exist. Allah describes this darkness in the following terms:
Or they are like the darkness of a fathomless sea that is covered by waves above, which are waves above which are clouds, layers of darkness, one upon the other. If he puts out his hand, he can scarcely see it. Those to whom Allah gives no light, they have no light. ( Surat an-Nur, 24:40)
While Allah leaves unbelievers in this darkness, He guides His faithful servants to the light. The following verse reveals that these two groups are mirror opposites and believers are absolutely superior, for:
Is someone who was dead and whom We brought to life, supplying him with a light by which to walk among people, the same as someone who is in utter darkness, unable to emerge from it? That is how what they were doing is made to seem attractive to the unbelievers. ( Surat al-An‘am, 6:122)
Allah sends down warnings to believers in order to guide them to the light. His Messengers and the just Books that they bring are all sources of “light.” Those who comply with the divine message attain the true path and are illuminated. The Qur'an proclaims:
O Prophet! We have sent you as a witness, a bringer of good news, a warner, a caller to Allah by His permission, and a light-giving lamp. ( Surat al-Ahzab, 33:45-46)
He sends down Clear Signs to His servant to bring you out of the darkness to the light. Allah is All-Gentle with you, Most Merciful. ( Surat al-Hadid, 57:9)
O People of the Book! Our Messenger has come to you, making clear to you much of the Book that you have kept concealed, and passing over a lot. A Light has come to you from Allah, and a Clear Book. By it, Allah guides those who follow what pleases Him to the ways of peace. He will bring them from the darkness to the light by His permission, and guide them to a straight path. ( Surat al-Ma'ida, 5:15-16)
Allah's true servants will live happily until they die, and will be recognized by their light. Unbelievers, on the other hand, will remain in infinite darkness in the Hereafter as well, and will ask believers for some of their light. As the Qur'an states:
On the Day you see the men and women of the believers, with their light streaming out in front of them, and to their right: “Good news for you today of gardens with rivers flowing under them, remaining in them timelessly, forever. That is the Great Victory.” That Day, the men and women of the hypocrites will say to those who believe: “Wait for us so that we can borrow some of your light.” They will be told: “Go back and look for light!” And a wall will be erected between them with a gate in it, on the inside of which there will be mercy but before whose exterior lies punishment. ( Surat al-Hadid, 57:12-13)
Allah is the Protector of those who believe. He brings them out of the darkness and into the light. But those who are unbelievers have false deities as protectors. They take them from the light into the darkness. Those are the Companions of the Fire, remaining in it timelessly, forever. ( Surat al-Baqara, 2:257)
He calls down blessing upon you, as do His angels, to bring you out of the darkness and into the light. He is Most Merciful to the believers. ( Surat al-Ahzab, 33:43)
And Earth will shine with the Pure Light of its Lord, the Book will be put in place, the Prophets and witnesses will be brought, and it will be decided between them with the truth. They will not be wronged. ( Surat az-Zumar, 39:69)
Those who believe in Allah and His Messengers—such people are the truly sincere—and the martyrs who are with their Lord will receive their wages and their light. But those who are unbelievers and deny Our Signs will be Companions of the Blazing Fire. ( Surat al-Hadid, 57:19)
O You who believe! Have fear [and awareness] of Allah and faith in His Messenger. He will give you a double portion of His mercy, grant you a Light by which to walk, and forgive you. Allah is Ever-Forgiving, Most Merciful. ( Surat al-Hadid, 57:28)
Prophet Muhammad (saas) advises believers to say the following in their prayers:
“Allahumma: Put light in my heart, light in my tongue, light in my sight, light in my hearing, light on my right, light on my left, light above me, light beneath me, light in front of me, and light behind me. Put light in my soul, and give me great light.” (Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim)

Who will Hazrat Mahdi’s (pbuh) followers be?

Who will Hazrat Mahdi’s (pbuh) followers be? (04.11.2013)

Who will Hazrat Mahdi’s (pbuh) followers be?

From Mr. Adnan Oktar’s interview on A9 TV on 4 November 2013

DİDEM ÜRER: I would like to read a hadith about Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh), insha’Allah. “When the Qaim (the Mahdi) appears, those who imagine themselves to be the followers of the Mahdi will turn away from him. Those outside the faith, however, will believe in the Mahdi.”

ADNAN OKTAR: It is very strange. He will have no followers from among the radicals. Atheists will come and be followers of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh). Christians will come and be followers of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh). Or people ignorant of religion will come and be followers of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh).  The majority will be people like that. They will be ordinary people, not radicals or people who are already religious. Of course there are truly devout people among the devout, and my apologies to them.

God helps those who help His religion

God helps those who help His religion
Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Live Conversation on A9TV dated January  23th, 2014

What does Almighty God say? Verse 40 of Surat al-Hajj; ''God will certainly help those who help Him.'' He does not say, those who want to help. Those who do help. What does helping mean? To preach and to tell people about Islam. Telling people about Islam via the radio and television and the internet. Or going to people’s homes, or in the street. To strive to strengthen the faith. God will certainly help those who help Him.'' What is the numerological calculation [abjad] value of that? It gives a date of 2007.

(Surat al-Hajj, 41)
'' those who, if We establish them firmly on the earth, will establish prayer and pay alms, and command what is right and forbid what is  wrong. The end result of all affairs is with God.”

In other words, “We install them on earth and give them power.” What is the earth? The whole world. What is the verse referring to? The system of the Mahdi. Because it speaks of a global reign.

''those who, if We establish them firmly on the earth, will establish prayer…” the system of the Mahdi. ''They pray properly.” This means that the followers of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) and Muslims will pray at that time. They will give alms. They will command what is right and good. They will forbid what is wrong, and they will also preach. ''The end result of all affairs is with God.” In other words, “The end result lies with Me,” God is saying. “I will bring it about.”

(Surat al-Hajj, 42)
''If they deny you,'' says Almighty God. Now we say, “Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) will appear,” but they deny it. We say, “Jesus the Messiah (pbuh) will come,” but they deny that. We say, “There will be Islamic Union,” but they deny it. '' If they deny you, the people of Noah before them denied him and those of ‘Ad and of Thamud.”

(Surat al-Hajj, 43)
''and the people of Abraham and the people of Lot.” He is saying they also denied them. He is saying, “They also said you are not telling the truth, you are lying.”

(Surat al-Hajj, 44)
'' "and the companions of Madyan; and Moses was denied as well. I allowed time to the unbelievers but then I seized them. How terrible was My denial!”

(Surat al-Hajj, 30)
Almighty God says, '' Have done with the defilement of idols and have done with telling lies.” Avoid ascribing equals to God, polytheistic belief and telling lies, He says.

(Surat al-Hajj, 37)
''Give good news to the good-doers.” What does good-doer mean? People who serve Islam and the Qur’an.

God creates the religion easy

Adnan Oktar Says

Showing the religion difficult means stirring up sedition. God creates the religion easy.

The Prophet (pbuh) said, "Religion is very easy and whoever overburdens himself in his religion will not be able to continue in that way. So you should not be extremists, but try to be near to perfection and receive the good tidings that you will be rewarded; and gain strength by worshipping in the mornings, the nights."

Everyone must join forces against terror

Everyone must join forces against terror

The world has been living side by side with terror for hundreds of years. Even though actions may differ from country to country, all terrorist organizations aim at defenseless civilians and send their messages by way of these people. In the terrorist attack in Oklahoma in the USA 167 people were savagely slaughtered, 19 of them children. A fanatical Jew who opened a hail of fire on Muslims praying in a mosque in Palestine caused the deaths of 29 people. Thousands of people have lost their lives in attacks against Muslims in India over the years.

Terrorist attacks both great and small have for years been perpetrated in France, Spain, the Philippines, Japan and Ireland.

One could go on. However, the entire world came face to face with terror in 2001. In the wake of the attacks against two major cities in the USA which led to the deaths and injuries of thousands of people, the concept of “terrorism” began to be debated once again. That was because that attack had been carried out at an unexpected time, against a country regarded as the world’s only superpower, and in a totally unforeseen manner. The attack created an air of fear and panic all over the world, especially in America.

Following the attacks, the USA embarked on a major fight against terror. Many countries have lined up alongside America in this struggle, and lent their support to it. The series of bombings in Istanbul, just when it was thought that the forces of terror had been brought under control, again reminded people of terrorism’s dark face: first synagogues, then the British Consulate, then the HSBC General Directorate building …

The Saturday prayer, which had been performed for centuries, was interrupted by the bombs exploded on November 15th. Twenty-four people were killed in the explosions at the Neva Shalom synagogue at Beyoglu Kuledibi and the Beth Israel synagogue at Sisli, and 300 were injured. Dozens of more people lost their lives in the explosions at the British Consulate and the HSBC building, and hundreds were injured. Images similar to those which followed the September 11 attacks began appearing on our television screens. Ruined buildings, people fleeing in panic, burned out busses, corpses lying in the streets …

The point we wish to emphasize in this article is the Islamic perspective on terror attacks and the killing of the innocent. All forms of terrorist attack are roundly condemned in Islam. According to the Qur'an, it is a great sin to kill an innocent person, and anyone who does so will suffer great torment in the Hereafter:
… If someone kills another person—unless it is in retaliation for someone else or for causing corruption in the earth—it is as if he had murdered all mankind. And if anyone gives life to another person, it is as if he had given life to all mankind. Our Messengers came to them with Clear Signs, but even after that, many of them committed outrages in the earth.(Qur’an, 5:32)
This verse equals the killing of one innocent to slaughtering all of humanity! Another verse expresses the importance that the faithful attach to life:
Those who do not appeal to any other deity besides God [alone]; nor kill any soul whom God has forbidden [them to] except with the right to do so; nor fornicate. Anyone who does so will incur a penalty. (Qur’an, 25:68)
In yet another verse, God issues the following commandment:
Say: "Come, and I will recite to you what your Lord has forbidden for you": that you do not associate anything with Him; that you are good to your parents; that you do not kill your children because of poverty—We will provide for you and them; that you do not approach indecency—outward or inward; that you do not kill any person God has made inviolate—except with the right to do so. That is what He instructs you to do, so that hopefully, you will use your intellect. (Qur’an, 6:151)
Any Muslim who believes in God with a sincere heart, who scrupulously abides by His verses and fears suffering in the Hereafter, will avoid harming even one other person. He knows that the Lord of Infinite Justice will suitably reward him for all his deeds. In one of the hadiths, our Prophet (may God bless him and grant him peace) listed the kinds of people who are not pleasing to God:
"Those who act cruelly and unjustly in the sacred lands, those who yearn for the ways of the ignorant, and those who wrongly shed human blood." (Sahih Bukhari Hadith)
Another element we wish to concentrate on is the attack on devout Turkish Jews worshipping in their synagogues. Churches, synagogues and mosques are houses for the worship of God. It is a terrible crime in the sight of God to slaughter innocent people as they worship in their churches, synagogues or mosques. These are houses where the name of God is remembered, praised and recited. In the Qur’an, , God reveals that:
… God guides to His Light whoever He wills and God makes metaphors for mankind and God has knowledge of all things. In houses which God has permitted to be built and in which His name is remembered, there are men who proclaim His glory morning and evening. (Qur’an, 24:35-36)
The people who go to those places are devout, prayerful people. All houses where the name of God is remembered are sacred in the eyes of Islam. Visitors to these houses may be Jews, Christians or Muslims. The important thing is that each one is a devout believer in God. A Muslim must respect and protect the holy places where the People of the Book worship God, and protect them. For Muslims, these places are precious because in these places, people, whether Jews or Christians, remember God. In the Qur'an, the places of worship of the People of the Book, ie. monasteries, churches and synagogues, are mentioned as places of worship protected by God.
…[I]f God had not driven some people back by means of others, monasteries, churches, synagogues and mosques, where God's name is mentioned much, would have been pulled down and destroyed. God will certainly help those who help Him—God is All-Strong, Almighty. (Qur'an, 22:40)
As a manifestation of his loyalty to God's commands, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was most careful not to destroy the holy places of the People of the Book. Such destruction means, in the first place, opposing God's commands. This aside, it means preventing people who have faith in God worshipping Him. Indeed, the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) promised the Christians, who were the other party to a peace agreement he made, that their churches would not be destroyed and that they would never be harmed. The tax (Jizya) agreements he made with Christians also guaranteed the safety of churches.

The first agreement made after the death of the Prophet (pbuh) that guaranteed the protection of the temples was a tax agreement Khalid bin al-Waleed signed with the leader of the city of Anat. Ibn Ishaq stated that those agreements made by Khalid bin al-Waleed were also approved by Abu Bakr and the three caliphs following him. This aside, Abu Bakr offered the same guarantees that had been offered to the people of Najran by the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).

The Islamic societies that abided by Islamic morality after the death of the Prophet (pbuh) also paid special attention to this issue. Muslim leaders who adhered to the Qur'an and the Sunnah (the sayings and doings of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)) respected the places of worship of non-Muslims in conquered countries and showed great tolerance to the clergy.

Terror Will Disappear When People Come to Live by the Moral Values of Islam

In the Qur'an (32:9), God reveals that He has breathed His Spirit into man, His creation, and that man is His representative on Earth (Qur'an, 6:165). One of the most important differences between man and the animals is that man was created with both earthly desires and with a conscience. Every person possesses desires that incite him to evil, along with a conscience that inspires him to avoid it. Alongside such pleasing attributes inspired by that conscience-love, sacrifice, compassion, humility, affection, honesty, loyalty and kindness-he also possesses destructive and undesirable tendencies, stemming from his earthly desires. Thanks to his conscience, however, the believer can distinguish between right and wrong and opt for what is morally right. Strong belief in and fear of God, faith in the Hereafter, powerful fear of the endless torments of Hell and a yearning for Paradise all keep the temptations of his earthly desires at bay. Therefore, he always behaves well towards people, is forgiving, responds to wickedness with good, assists those in need, and shows compassion, love, affection and tolerance.

Terrorists, on the other hand, listen to their earthly desire for violence instead of their consciences, and can easily turn to all forms of wickedness. They become loveless, aggressive people who easily hurt others without the slightest pang of conscience. Having no fear of God, they do not know the morality of religion, nor do they practice it. Nothing can stop them from committing crimes.

In restraining its citizens, society's prevailing rules can go only so far. Thanks to its law enforcement units, the state may be able to partially protect streets and public spaces, and-thanks to a powerful system of justice-may be able to take necessary means to ensure public order and ensure that the crime rate drops. But since it's impossible to keep watch on every individual, 24 hours a day, it's essential that peoples' consciences enter the equation at some stage. Someone who doesn't heed the voice of his conscience can easily turn to crime when on his own, or surrounded by people of like mind. That being the case, a model of society emerges which is composed of individuals who lie when necessary, have no hesitation about making unjust profits, and feel no unease about oppressing the weak. It is clear that physical precautions and measures will bear no fruit in a society which has no fear of God and which has lost its spiritual values. Religious moral values, on the other hand, command a person to refrain from evil, even if he is all alone, even if nobody will punish him for his evil deeds. It is evident that a person who knows that he will be called to account in the presence of God for his every deed, his every decision and his every word, and that he will be suitably rewarded for these in the eternal life of the Hereafter, will scrupulously avoid committing evil.

Terrorist organizations can't possibly have any place in a society whose people avoid evil of their own free will. Where religion's morality prevails, problems that give rise to organizations supporting the use of violence will disappear naturally. If the whole society possesses superior virtues like honesty, sacrifice, love and justice, there can be no place for such things as poverty, unequal distribution of income, injustice, the oppression of the weak, or limitations on freedoms. On the contrary, a social order will emerge that meets the wants of the needy; where the wealthy protect the poor and the strong, the weak; where everyone can enjoy the very best health care, education, and transport systems. There, tolerance and understanding will dominate the relationships between different ethnic groups, religions and cultures.

For these reasons, proper morality is the key to solving so many social problems. The source of that key, in turn, is the Qur'an, which God has revealed as a guide for mankind.

It must not be forgotten that unless necessary measures are taken, unless deep-rooted solutions are brought in, the 21st century will continue to be a time of terror and violence, just as the 20th was before it. The homes of innocent people will be bombed, and women and children will be slaughtered. The ideological fight against terrorism, therefore, must be started with great urgency, to include very great numbers of people.

This fight will be fought on the level of ideas-between people who believe in God, who are loving, forgiving, compassionate and in full possession of their conscience; and those who draw their strength from ignorance and violence. In one verse, our Lord reveals, "Why were there not people with good sense among the generations of those who came before you, who forbade corruption in the earth…" (Qur'an, 11:116). Believers should possess the virtue that God describes in that verse. While terrorists hope to achieve their aims by violence, believers know that true success can be achieved only by clinging tightly to the religion of God, and acting accordingly. Jews, Christians, and Muslims will join together in that struggle, in a spirit of respect for all beliefs and ideas and, by the will of God, enjoy definitive success. This is God's promise to all His believing servants, which will definitely come true.

At this point, a great responsibility falls on all true believers, no matter what their religion. Jews must not ignore Old Testament statements calling mankind to peace and tolerance, and they must call on all other Jews to oppose terrorism. So should Christians call on all other Christians, taking as their guide the morality most pleasing to God. One should not forget that terrorism stems from wrong ideas and the basic struggle against terrorism should be on the level of ideas. Believers must explain that these ideas are wrong, and that no idea can prevail by means of violence, oppression and cruelty; and despotism can never bring about beauty.

Terrorist ideology is built on sand. Its foundations can easily be swept away by mobilizing a proper education campaign. Sincere believers in all parts of the world can help end the ignorance that breeds terrorism by searching for solutions, writing books and articles, promoting educational activities and disseminating their own cultural heritage. The prevalence of tolerance, peace and security on the Earth, as commanded by God, will make terrorism disappear into the pages of history forever. Adopting a defeatist, pessimistic attitude in the face of terror is unacceptable. Our hope is that this suffering will not be repeated, and that all measures will be adopted to that end.

May God have mercy on those who died in those hateful attacks, and may He heal the injured. Our sincere condolences to all mankind. (For detailed information, please see Islam Denounces Terrorism and Only Love Can Defeat Terrorism by Harun Yahya)

Obstacles to Faith

Obstacles to Faith

Obstacles to Faith

• Why do some people prefer to live as if they are unaware of religion even though they know that they need to believe?
• What are the obstacles that prevent people from having sincere faith?
iman engel3Allah created man with a nature suitable to faith. Our Lord revealed this fact in one verse of the Quran:
“So set your face firmly towards the Religion, as a pure natural believer, Allah’s natural pattern on which He made mankind. There is no changing Allah’s creation. That is the true Religion – but most people do not know it – (Surat ar-Rum, 30)
Some people deny this fact revealed in the Qur'an and condemn themselves to a difficult  life. There are some reasons that these people have preferred a difficult life instead of faith, which is eminently suitable to their creation and would bring great strength to them morally.
• Arrogance
The sense of pride, meaning arrogance, in some people prevents them from living the true religion because these people made themselves believe in the righteousness and perfection of their ideas, believes and life styles. These people who are too clever by half never want to accept the existence of a more truthful idea or faith. Even such a thought would bother them. As Almighty Allah reveals in the verse, "When he is told to have fear of Allah, he is seized by pride which drives him to wrongdoing. Hell will be enough for him! What an evil resting-place!” (Surat al-Baqara, 206) what lead these people to denial or prevents them believing is this “pride” meaning arrogance.
When invited to living by the morality of the Qur'an, these people deny it because submitting to true religion would mean that they have had a superstitious faith until now. It is a great disaster for these people to realize that they have followed the wrong path for years, they have chosen the wrong people as leaders  or to realize everything they have written, read and understood until now has been a great misconception. Not wishing to go through this disaster, they do not want to accept the destruction of their ideas even if they are proven wrong because their arrogance would not allow them to. Their pride “leads them to sin” as revealed in the verse.
However what they need to do after they realize the Qur'an is the sole truth is to immediately accept that they are on the right path, listen to their conscience, repent and start a completely new life. This is the attitude that is easiest and would please Almighty Allah. The opposite would mean a troublesome life in this world and the hereafter. Almighty Allah reveals the dark spirit of those in denial in the verse "And they repudiated them wrongly and haughtily, in spite of their own certainty about them. See the final fate of the corrupters. (Neml Suresi, 14).  Their arrogance keeps these people off the true path and causes great damage to them.
• Not Knowing the Qur'an
iman engel2aFor a majority of people, the Qur'an is a book, which simply stays in one corner of the room without being touched and which they believe that will protect them from evil even though they have never read it. (The Qur'an is beyond that). These people are unaware that the Qur'an, which is an illuminator and guidance, would protect them from Hell and bring them the Garden if they follow and practice the commandments and prohibitions of Almighty Allah. Therefore, they prefer to learn the religion from their grandparents or ancestors  instead of learning it from the Qur'an, which is the true source. However, Almighty Allah reveals in one verse that some people abandoned reading the Quran as such:
“The Messenger says, ‘My Lord, my people treat this Qur’an as something to be ignored.’” (Surat al-Furqan, 30)
In one of his hadiths, our Prophet (saas) explained that the Qur'an is a guidance that leads to salvation as follows:
"He who puts the Qur'an first, the Qur'an will take him to the Garden. He who leaves it behind, it will takes him to Hell." (G.Ahmed Ziyaüddin, Ramuz Al Hadith, volüme 1, Gonca Publishing, Istanbul, 1997, 227/9)
A majority of people try to live a religion that is full of the ignorance brought by not having read the Qur'an, traditions, mistaken knowledge and wrong applications of the past. The rules, prohibitions and moral values of this religion are different than of those of the true religion. The most dangerous consequence of this psuedo-religion, which brought about many rules that are not in line with the revelations of Almighty Allah and the sunnah of our Prophet (saas), is that it causes a bias against true religion among people. So this psuedo-religion, which is full of complicated rules that are difficult to apply,  lead people astray from the moral values of the Qur'an.
Almighty Allah reveals this truth with the verse, Is it other than the religion of Allah that you desire?...” (Surah Al Imran, 83). In another verse it is revealed that these people also do not abide by this new religion they forged:
“...We put compassion and mercy         in the hearts of those who followed him. They invented monasticism – We did not prescribe it for them – …” (Surat Hadid , 27)
However, the religion commanded by Almighty Allah is very easy; it is neither complicated nor difficult to apply.  People are created to live the true religion Almighty Allah has chosen for them. In the Qur'an, the behaviors Almighty Allah likes and dislikes, things that are forbidden and that which are legal are explained very clearly. Therefore, openness of the conscience and mind, submission to destiny and living the true religion as would please our Lord by submitting to Almighty Allah is quite easy. Our Lord reveals this truth in one verse of the Qur'an:
“So set your face firmly towards the Religion, as a pure natural believer, Allah’s natural pattern on which He made mankind. There is no changing Allah’s creation. That is the true Religion – but most people do not know it” (Surat ar-Rum, 30)
The morality of the Qur'an provides people with a lifestyle that encompasses happiness, comfort and real freedom. This lifestyle frees the person of the direction of “false idols” that morally enslaves the person and gets him or her closer to to Allah, Who has infinite wisdom and beauty, Who controls all things and Who is compassionate and just.
• The Psychology of Going With the Crowd:
iman engel2The reason that prevents some people living the moral values of the Qur'an is the psychology of going with the crowd. These people feel that they need to go along with the lifestyles of the majority even though their conscience does not approve and they consider this as an obligation to be  a “normal” member of  society. With this psychology, they cannot comprehend the true meaning of religion and they make themselves believe that there are some rules, which all people in the world have to follow –other than the rules of Allah- and people have to abide by these rules. However in the Qur'an Almighty Allah reveals that the lifestyle most people choose, their false rules and sanctions do not direct people to the truth; on the contrary going with the crowd is a danger that misguides the person:
“If you obeyed most of those on earth, they would misguide you from Allah’s Way. They follow nothing but conjecture. They are only guessing.'” (Al-An‘am, 116)
Therefore the fact that most people have chosen a lifestyle opposed to the true religion, that they are derisive and cruel towards other  and even rebellious against their governments, that they commit sins without even thinking, must not affect other people. The fact that such people are in the majority is no excuse for the mistakes committed by individuals. This is because  a non-Quranic life style, which is adopted with the psychology of going with the crowd, instead of the life that is clearly defined in the Qur'an and would please Almighty Allah, would open the doors to Hell let alone providing any gains for people.
• Not Being Able To Understand That Freedom Is Only Through True Religion:
Some people are mistaken in thinking that living without following Allah’s commands and in the direction of the wants and desires of their inner selves is freedom. However, a person could only be truly free if he serves Allah, submits to Him and is completely saved from serving  other beings or values, because true freedom is not only physical but in the soul. This is the totality of feelings of openness, comfort, trust and peace that Almighty Allah inspires to a person’s soul and heart. However, Almighty Allah emphasizes this freedom, which only believers could have, in one verse:
“...in the remembrance of Allah can the heart find peace.’ (Surat Ar-Ra‘d, 28)
Our Propet (saas) called people to the most reputable and beautiful way, Allah’s way, and strived to be guidance for people’s salvation in this world and the hereafter. In this hadith, our Master (saas) clarified this fact explicitly: “No doubt that the most beautiful word is the Book of Allah. The most beautiful way is the way of Mohammad.”
(Sahih al-Bukhari, I'tisam 2, Ebed 70; Kutub Al-Sitta, Interpreted by Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Canan, volume 2, Akçağ Publications, Ankara, p.338)
• The Logic of “I Will Do It in the Future”:
People who could not truly grasp the necessity of the moral values of the Qur'an think that they believe in Almighty Allah and the Qur'an but they will perform their prayers at a later point. Behind this utterly mistaken thought, they think that if they live according to the moral values of the religion, they will not be able to enjoy simple things in this world, and they ignore the fact that death could come any moment and that they do not completely believe in the hereafter. However all these thoughts are because these people are unaware of true religion because Almighty Allah promises believers who live by the true religion both this world and the hereafter with the verse, Say: ‘Who has forbidden the fine clothing Allah has produced for His slaves and the good kinds of provision?’ Say: ‘On the Day of Rising such things will be exclusively for those who had faith during their life in the present .’ In this way We make the Signs clear for people who know.” (Surat al-A’raf , 32) and warns people about the day of judgment by reminding them that death is very close to everyone whether young, old or child with the verse, “Every self will taste death...” (Surah Al Imran, 185). The hereafter is more real than this world, as revealed in many verses of the Qur'an, because it is eternal. No doubt, the excuses of these people who postpone living according to the moral values of religion with the logic of “I will do it in the future” are all invalid. Almighty Allah warns His servants in the fact of this truth as such:
“The Day when the excuses of the wrongdoers will not help them. The curse will be on them and they will have the most evil Home.” (Surah Ghafir, 52)
Satan’s Suggestions Prevent Living the True Religion
Satan is what prevents people from living the true religion. Satan stealthily approaches people without being hasty. He slowly gives small suggestions to prevent people from living by the morality of the Qur'an and in the long run keeps them away from true religion. However, people can only have a healthy mind and soul by living the true religion because living the true religion saves people from worldly bonds. It makes the person responsible only to Allah and commandments in His True Book. This is a great ease for people. Almighty Allah reveals the easiness of the religion of Islam in many verses of the Qur'an. For example, He reveals as "We will ease you to the Easy Way." (Surat al-A'la, 8) and  heralds Muslims the He will ensure peace in great ease and Allah opens the path of His servants and helps them reach His true path. He holds the Qur'an as guidance and helps people come out of their dark lives. In one verse Almighty Allah heralds believers who follow Him unconditionally as such:
“Allah is the Protector of those who have faith. He brings them out of the darkness into the light....” (Surat al-Baqara, 257)

We would not make opposition to anyone because of their religion, their language or their race. We would not be disturbed by anyone. We love all of them dearly. [Adnan Oktar]

Islam is really not a complicated religion

Adnan Oktar Says...

  • What does the bigoted mindset do to make people alienate from religion? They complicate the religion. That is a very sly plot of the satan. When they complicate the religion even though it is really very easy, people start thinking that religion cannot be practiced and give up. Actually living by religion is really easy.
  • Religion is a magnificent structure in which welfare, love, beauty, peace, goodness, forgiveness, democracy, freedom of thought and the most sophisticated, most beautiful aspects of arts and science are displayed. Some people ensnarl religion and alienate people from religion unnecessarily. That is the way they serve the antichrist (dajjal).
  • Qur'an is a very plain and pure Book. The commands of Allah are very plain and quite simple. Complicating life is not religion. I mean propagating an environment in which people are in dirty clothes, eating filthy food, living in a filthy, listless environment with dirty looking women and men; no music, no paintings, no arts, no science, no aesthetics in an ugly rotten structure; with slanders and revilements constantly in their language and feeling hatred towards everyone. Such a religion is not acceptable. This has nothing to do with religion.

Adnan Oktar Says 2012-10-07

A9 TV; October 7th, 2012

  • We feel compassion towards those communists, we consider the best for them as well.
  • Islam is a shool of love, a school of the lovers. It is the religion by which love is experienced in the most beautiful form.
  • The Qur'an teaches us how to use this world. The world will be ruined when the commands of the Qur'an are not implemented.
  • Both territorial and maritime blockade should be implemented in Syria.
  • There is no command in the Qur'an that would conflict with reason and the good conscience of people.
  • Bediuzzaman says that Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) will ally with devout Christians.
  • According to the hadith records loving women is a part of the morality of the prophets.
  • By calling made-up statement "hadiths", they are slandering our Prophet (saas).
  • In bigots there is a gruesome hatred towards women. According to the belief of the bigots; women are short of religion and of reason.
  • By infiltrating beliefs that do not really exist into Islam, they are alienating people from religion.
  • There is no compulsion in religion. No one can be forced to perform prayers, fast and give alms. Those can only be done most sincerely and willingly.
  • Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) will abolish all those made-up commands derived afterwards.
