Holy city al-Madīnah al-Munawwarah:
The Arabic word madinah simply means "city." Before the advent of Islam, the city was known as Yathrib but was personally renamed by Prophet Muhammad (
صلى الله عليه وسلم). The first mention of the city, under its old Arabic name Yathrib, dates to the 6th century BC. In 622 AD/1 AH, Prophet Muhammad (
صلى الله عليه وسلم) and around 70 Meccan Muhajirun believers left Mecca for sanctuary in Yathrib, an event that transformed the religious and political landscape of the city completely; the longstanding enmity between the Aus and Khazraj tribes was dampened as many of the two Arab tribes and some local Jews embraced Islam. Prophet Muhammad (
صلى الله عليه وسلم), linked to the Khazraj through his great-grandmother, was agreed on as civic leader. The Muslim converts native to Yathrib of whatever background—pagan Arab or Jewish—were called Ansar ("the Patrons" or "the Helpers"). [
Wikipedia]
Yathrib is called al-Madīnah al-Munawwarah because Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) migrated to this city and established first Islamic Caliphate or union after uniting Meccan Muhajirun and local Ansar where the early Muslim community (ummah) developed under the Prophet's (صلى الله عليه وسلم) leadership, then under the leadership of the first four caliphs of Islam Abu Bakr (رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ), Omar (رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ), Othman (رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ) and Ali (رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ). This city is burial place of Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) and will be burial place of Prophet Isa (علیہ السلام) Messiah after his second coming. Without Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) Yathrib is not called al-Madīnah al-Munawwarah.
Constantinople (Istanbul) is Madina-e-Sani:
Istanbul is Madina-e-Sani because Imam Mahdi (علیہ السلام) will capture this city spiritually without bloodshed similar to Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) who captured the city Yathrib spiritually without bloodshed.
Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) started struggle of Islam and invite people to truth in holy city Mecca but he (صلى الله عليه وسلم) migrated and established Islamic caliphate in al-Madīnah al-Munawwarah. Imam Mahdi (علیہ السلام) will come from will come from the village of Kara to Madina-e-Sani. He will start his struggle and invite people to truth from Madina-e-Sani and capture this city spiritually. He will migrate to holy city Mecca where people will swear allegiance to him. He will descend to Jerusalem and struggle for the true faith in Jerusalem until the coming of the Prophet ‘Isa (علیہ السلام).
The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said:
“… a man [Hazrat Mahdi (علیہ السلام)] of the people of Madina (a large city) will come forth to Mecca. Some of the people of Mecca will come to him, bring him out against his will and swear allegiance to him between the Corner and the Maqam. …” (Sunan Abu Dawud)
The word Medina is used in a metaphorical sense in the hadith handed down from our Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم). In other words, our Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) uses the word Medina to mean very different things. There are many large cities or “Medinas” in the Islamic world. For that reason, one can only tell in what sense the word Medina is being used by looking at other accounts on the subject.
In the hadith cited above, our Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) says that Hazrat Mahdi (علیہ السلام) will come from Medina, whereas in another hadith he says that Hazrat Mahdi (علیہ السلام) “will come from the village of Land.” Imam Qurtubi’s At-Tadhkirah refers to Hazrat Mahdi (علیہ السلام) coming from the western part of the Islamic countries. This statement shows that the large city in which Hazrat Mahdi (علیہ السلام) will be born is in the western part of the Islamic nations.
In another hadith, our Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) tells his interlocutor that Hazrat Mahdi (علیہ السلام) will perform the spiritual capture of Medina, in other words, a large city. In the account, because there were many Medinas (or large cities), the person speaking to our Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) was uncertain which Medina, in other words which large city, Hazrat Mahdi (علیہ السلام) who will achieve the spiritual conquest of. He therefore asked our Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) which Medina (or large city) he meant.
Our Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) answered that this Medina (city) was Constantinople (Istanbul).
Ahmad recorded a hadith by Allah ibn 'Amr, who said:
"… The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said, 'Six things will happen to this Ummah: … The sixth is the conquest of a city.' I asked, 'O Messenger of Allah, which city?' He said, 'Constantinople.'"
Therefore, the word Medina is used by our Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) in this hadith in the sense of a great city in order to refer to Istanbul.
Another hadith reveals that Hazrat Mahdi (علیہ السلام) will emerge from the city that contains the sacred relics, including the sacred banner, of our Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم). The banner and other holy relics of our Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) are currently kept in a special section of Istanbul’s Topkapi Palace.
It is related from Abdullah ibn Shurafa that:
“The banner of our Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) will be adorned, together with Hazrat Mahdi (علیہ السلام).“
(Al-Burhan fi Alamat al-Mahdi Akhir al-zaman, p. 65)
“He will appear with the camel hair banner of our Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم). That banner has four corners, is unstitched and black in color. There is a halo on it. It has not been unfurled since the death of our Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم), but it will be opened when Hazrat Mahdi (علیہ السلام) appears.“
(Al-Burhan fi Alamat al-Mahdi Akhir al-zaman, p. 23)
As for signs, he will have with him the shirt, the sword, and the banner of our Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم). That banner has never been unfurled since the death of our Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم). And, it will not be unfurled until the appearance of the Mahdi.
(Portents of Doomsday, p. 164)
It appears from the above hadith that the sacred relics of our Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) are where Hazrat Mahdi (علیہ السلام), and that the banner will be opened up when he appears. Since the holy relics are in Istanbul, it is clear that Hazrat Mahdi (علیہ السلام) will be in Istanbul, too.
However, one can also see from looking at other accounts that the city of Hazrat Mahdi’s (علیہ السلام) birth and the city in the west of the Islamic world is a different Medina or city from the one that he will spiritually conquer. For example, it can be seen from the description in this hadith that the city that Hazrat Mahdi (علیہ السلام) will capture, Istanbul, is one in which a dry path will be opened up in the sea, in other words, in which a bridge system will be used.
During the conquest of Constantinople he [Hazrat Mahdi (علیہ السلام)] will plant a standard when he goes to make ablution for the morning prayer, and the water will divide in two and withdraw from him. He will cross to the other side through this path that opens and say,
“O people, learn from this. The sea has parted its waters for us, just as it did for the tribe of Israel.”
They will utter the takbir again and again and with twelve takbirs the twelve towers of the city will collapse.
(Al-Qawl al-Mukhtasar fi Alamat al-Mahdi al- Muntadhar, p. 57)
The hadith also states that Hazrat Mahdi (علیہ السلام) will plant a standard in this city, making it clear that the city is the one that contains the holy banner of our Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم).

Many Pakistani writers claim that
Pakistan is a Madina-e-Sani (second Madina after holy city of Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) al-Madīnah
al-Munawwarah “the radiant city”) and Imam Mahdi (علیہ السلام) will emerge from Pakistan. In picture below they have tried to prove that wordy meaning of Persian word “Pakistan” (پاکستان) and Arabic word “Madina
Tayyaba” (مدینہ طیبہ) are both equivalent
to “The Land of Pure People”. They believe Imam Mahdi (علیہ السلام) or his force will shed blood to create Madina-e-Sani and then he and his force will establish Caliphate in Makkah to unit Muslims. Many terrorists and radicals use these writings to justify killings and terror as they believe they are force of Imam Mahdi (علیہ السلام) and they are protecting land of pure people. These writers have following points for their claim...
Shah Waliullah Muhaddith Dehlavi (ra) mentioned a Hadith, referenced by Al-Tibrani-Al-Aust (الطبرانيالأوسط), Holy Prophet (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) said,
"I am Arab, but Arab is not in me and I am not in Hind but Hind is in me"
میں عرب ہوں, لیکن عرب مجھ میں نہیں اور میں ہند میں نہیں لیکن ہند مجھ میں ہے
They claim Allama Iqbal used a part of this Hadith in his couplet of Bang-e-Dra.
The House from which the world had heard Tauhid’s tune (Doctrine of Oneness of God)
From where the Arabian Leader (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) had felt cool breeze
They claim Prophet Muhammad (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) feel cool breeze from Hind but actually this is saying of Sayyidina Ali (علیہ السلام). The text is found in Mustadrak Al-Haakim as a saying of Sayyidina Ali (علیہ السلام);
عن ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما ، قال : قال علي بن أبي طالب : أطيب ريح في الأرض الهند
Ibn Abbas (رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ) said, Ali (علیہ السلام) said:
"I feel cool breeze from Hind."
Mustadrak Al-Haakim Hadith 3954. Hakim said, 'This Hadith is Sahih on the conditions of [Sahih] Muslim [3995]’.
Here's the full narration from Mustadrak with Hakeem's tawtheeq, it also includes about Adam (علیہ السلام):
حدثنا محمد بن الحسن الكارزي حدثنا علي بن عبد العزيز حدثنا حجاج بن منهال حدثنا حماد بن سلمة عن حميد عن يوسف بن مهران عن بن عباس رضى الله تعالى عنهما قال قال علي بن أبي طالب أطيب ريح في الأرض الهند أهبط بها آدم صلى الله عليه وسلم فعلق شجرها من ريح الجنة هذا حديث صحيح على شرط مسلم ولم يخرجاه
Exact and full translation is:
"The best wind on earth is in al-Hind, Adam (علیہ السلام) was sent down with it, and its trees caught some of the wind of paradise."
It doesn't prove that Hind will become center of Islam in future. Middle East is also known as the home of the prophets (pbut) and center of all great Abrahamic religions mentioned in Holy Quran and it will remain center of Islam in future. Hadith, saying of Sayyidina Ali (علیہ السلام) and poetry of Allam Iqbal are only relating significance of India with descendant of Prophet Adam (علیہ السلام) and mass conversion of people of India from polytheism to monotheism.
These writers claim that Imam
Mahdi (
علیہ السلام) will come from east region of Khorasan which is Afghanistan
and Pakistan (AfPak) with an army carrying black flags to invade Constantinople
and Jerusalem. See article
Black
Banners From Khurasan (Afghanistan) To Jerusalem. These writers use following Hadiths
for their claim…
Ahmad, Nu'aym ibn Hammad,
al-Hakim and Abu Nu'aym narrated from Thawban (رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ) that he said:
"The Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم)
said:
"When you see the black banners
have come forward from Khorasan, then go to them even if you have to crawl over
ice, for among them is Allah's khalifah, the Mahdi."
Al-Hasan ibn Sufyan and Abu
Nu'aym narrated from Thawban (رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ) that he said: "The
Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم)
said:
"The black banners will come
from the east, with hearts like iron bars. So whoever hears of them, let him go
to them and give them bay'ah, even if he must crawl over ice."
Narrated by Abdur Rehman
Al-Jarshi that I heard companion of dear Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم)
Hazrat Amr Bin Marra Al-jamli (رضی اللہ تعالیٰ
عنہ) that Dear Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said:
“Surely Black Flag will appear from
the Khorasan until the people will tie their horses with the Olive Trees
between Bait-e-Lahya and Harasta. We asked are there any Olive trees between
these places. He said, ‘If there isn’t then soon it will grow so that those
people will come and tie their horses there.’”
[Ref: Kitab-al-Fitan Page 215.

Professor Muhammad Yousaf Khan, Jamia Ashrafia Lahore, Pakistan]
Thawban said,
"The Prophet said: 'Three men
will be killed at the place where your treasure is. Each of them will be the
son of a Khalifah, and none of them will get hold of the treasure. Then black banners will come out of the
east...' If you see him, go and give him your allegiance, even if you have to crawl
over ice, because he is the Khalifah of Allah, the Mahdi.'"
This hadith is reported in Sunan
Ibn Majah vol 3 number 4084 in ‘Kitab al-Fitan, Baab Kharuj al-Mahdi' and
'Mustadrak' al-Hakim. Hakim classified it as saheeh on the conditions set by
al-Bukhari and Muslim and al-Dhahabi agreed. Ibn Kathir wrote about it in his
'al-Nihaya (al-Fitan wa al-Malahim)' that its isnaad is 'qawii' (strong).
al-Albani considers some of the chains as unacceptable, but writes the hadith
is correct in meaning without the addition, 'he is the Khalifah of Allah, the
Mahdi.' He rates the isnaad of Ibn Majah from 'Alqama from Ibn Mas'ud as hasan
which does not have the words, 'khalifa-tullah.' He then goes on to discuss why
this addition is not acceptable. ('Silsilah al-Ahadeeth al-Da'eefah wa
al-Maudu'a', vol 1, p. 195-198, Hadith #85)
Will Imam Mahdi (علیہ السلام) be among them?
According to they claim the Imam Mahdi (علیہ السلام) is among force of east. If we analyze all hadiths carefully then we see this is not the case. These hadiths clearly say that find Imam
Mahdi (علیہ السلام) when black banners come forward from Khorasan.
Above Hadiths don’t state that Imam Mahdi (علیہ السلام)
will come from Khorasan along them.
Hadiths about Shuayb ibn Saleh
(Mansoor) and Banu Hashim also do not state that the Mahdi is among them. They
describe the same situation. They will defeat the cavalry of the sufyani in
Khorasan and when they settle in Kufah the Mahdi (علیہ السلام) appears in holy city Mecca. Following
Hadiths clearly state that black banners from east will come to Imam Mahdi (علیہ السلام).
He also narrated from al-Hasan,
that the Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم)
mentioned a tribulation that his household would encounter:
"Until Allah sends a black
banner from the east; whoever helps them, Allah will help him, and whoever lets
them down, Allah will let him down; until they COME TO A MAN whose name is like
my name, so He will make him their ruler, and Allah will help him and grant him
victory."
He also narrated from Abu Ja'far (رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ) that he said:
"The black banners that come
out from Khurasan will settle at al-Kufah. WHEN the Mahdi APPEARS in Makkah,
they WILL SEND the bay'ah TO HIM."
Narrated by Abdullah bin Masood (رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ) that Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said:
“A Nation will come from the east
with black flags and they will ask for some “Khayr” (because of them being
needy) but the people will not give them, then, they will fight and win over
those people (who did not give them what they asked). Now the people will give
them what they asked for but they will not accept it until they will HAND IT
OVER to a person from my progeny who will fill this earth with justice just as
it was previously filled with oppression and tyranny. So if anyone of you finds
this nation then you must join them even if you have to crawl over ice.”
(Al-Asha'ah, Page 240)
Above hadith clearly states that
Imam Mahdi (علیہ السلام) will be not among them but they will help
him and give bay'ah (oath) to him.
Are Afghanistan and Pakistan (AfPak) Khorasan?
The ancient Khorasan was the last
eastern province of the Persian Empire. Khorasan means the “land of the
sunrise” in Persian. Khorasan in its proper sense comprised principally the
cities of Mashhad, Nishapur and Sabzevar (now in northeastern Iran), Balkh,
Herat and Taloqan (now in Afghanistan), Merv, Nisa and Abiward (now in southern
Turkmenistan), and Samarqand and Bukhara (now in Uzbekistan). Some believe that
at certain times Khorasan covered a wider area, which included parts of
Transoxiana, Soghdiana, Sistan, and extended to the boundaries of the Indian
subcontinent [
Wikipedia].
At time of Prophet Muhammad (
صلى الله عليه وسلم),
Khorasan region was included east area of
Caspian Sea, west south of
river
Amu Darya, Transoxania
(Tajikistan, Uzbekistan etc) and cities Ar-Ray
(Iran) and Taloqan (Afghanistan). These areas
are also referred in Hadiths and by Islamic scholars for Khorasan region.
Ibn Khaldun and al-Qurtubi record:
“Hazrat Mahdi (علیہ السلام) will come from the Mashriq (the East), Khorasan (the area to
the west of the Caspian Sea) and the Amu Darya (these being regions
inhabited by the Turks).”
(Macdonald, Encyclopedia of
Islam, 7:478)
Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said:
“Pity poor Taloqan. At that
place are treasures of Allah. These are not of gold and silver, but consist of
people who have recognized Allah as they should have. They are the Mahdi's
servants.”
(Al-Muttaqi al-Hindi, Al-Burhan
fi `Alamat al-Mahdi, p. 59) (Al-Muttaqi al-Hindi, Al-Burhan fi Alamat al-Mahdi
Akhir al-zaman, p.59)
Hadis Al-Mahdiyul Muntazar:
"Good for Al Taloqan!
Surely, for Allah in it are treasures, not of gold or silver but men who know
Allah through truthful knowledge and they will support Al Mahdi at the end of
Time."
Following the same
narrative chain, Al-Baqir narrated the following on the authority of Jabir:
“[Allah Almighty has a treasure in Taloqan;
it is of neither gold nor silver but consists of twelve thousand (men) in Khorasan,
having “Ahmad Ahmad” for emblem. They will be led by a Hashemite young man
riding a gray mule and wearing a red headband. I can almost see him crossing
the Euphrates; should you hear of his coming, rush to him even if you have to
crawl over the snow.]”
Narrated 'Ali son of Abu Talib:
"The Prophet said, 'A man named
al-Harith son of Hirath will come from Transoxania (Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, southern Kyrgyzstan and southwest Kazakhstan). His army will
be led by a man named Mansoor. He will be pave the way for and establish the
government of the family of Muhammad, just as the Quraysh established the
government of the Messenger of Allah. Every believer will be obliged to support
them.'"
Al-Harith son of Hirath; Mansoor Ali said,
"The Prophet said, ‘A man named al-Harith son of Hirath will come from Transoxania [Central Asia] His army will be led by a man named Mansoor. He will be pave the way for and establish the government of the family of Muhammad, just as the Quraysh established the government of the Messenger of Allah.Every believer will be obliged to support them.’” (Abu-Dawud.)
Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet said, "The Hour
will not be established till you fight a nation wearing hairy shoes, and till
you fight the Turks, who will have small eyes, red faces and flat noses;
and their faces will be like flat shields. And you will find that the best
people are those who hate responsibility of ruling most of all till they are
chosen to be the rulers. And the people are of different natures: The best in
the pre-lslamic period are the best in Islam. A time will come when any of you
will love to see me rather than to have his family and property doubled."
One of Hazrat Mahdi's Names Will Be '
'THE LION' – Hz. Mehdi’nin İsimlerinden Biri “
ARSLAN” Olacaktır
“Hazrat Messiah, Son of David; Mahdi, represented with a lion figure is mentioned in Zohar, commentary of Torah. It is believed to be from Hazrat Abraham’s period and Hazrat Mahdi is represented with a lion figure. The lion clawing, that represents Hazrat Mahdi.
In Torah, “He swears by that truth,” King Messiah Mahdi “He is a lion and he who is known as the lion is loving.” “His name is Lion, but he is very loving, he says” is mentioned. “Morning describes the compassion that refers to Messiah [Mahdi].The Gospel says “you lie down till morning, until Messiah [Mahdi], son of David, who is the light of compassion and is called the lion emerges in the morning.” The dawn of Islam, insha’Allah.
Our Prophet says
“A man (Hazrat Mahdi will appear from Transoxania,” What is Transoxania? The place where the Mahdi’s ancestors lived. The Caucasus region, region where Turks live. “He will be called Al-Haris ibn al-Harras.” Haris, meaning Lion, son of the lion, in other words.”
Esteemed Adnan Oktar, 27 April 2012 A9 TV
"MAN CALLED AL-HARITH IBN HARRATH (LION) WILL COME FORTH FROM MA WARA AN-NAHR (TRANSOXANA). His army will be led by a man called Mansur who will establish or consolidate things for Muhammad's family as Quraysh consolidated them for the Messenger of Allah (saas). Every believer must help him."
(Sunan Abu Dawud, Book 36, 4277;Narrated Ali ibn AbuTalib;At-Taj al-jami' lil 'usul fi ahadith al-Rasul, Mansur 'Ali Nasif, Vol. 5, p. 617)
* Haris means lion.
“O Master of believers, tell us about Hazrat Mahdi (as).” And the Master of believers said"... HAZRAT MAHDI (AS) IS A WELL-PREPARED, VICTORIOUS LION WITH AN EXTENSIVE IMPACT..."
(Sheikh Muhammad ibn Ibrahim Numani, al-Ghaybah al-Numani, [Bihar al-Anwar, Vol. 51], Ansariyan Publications, Collected by: Muhammad Baqir Majlisi, Iran-Qum, 2003, p. 184)
Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet said, "The Hour
will not be established till you fight with the Khudh and the Kirman (Province in Iran) from
among the non-Arabs. They will be of red faces, flat noses and small eyes;
their faces will look like flat shields, and their shoes will be of hair."
Al Hasan Al Basri said:
"A man of medium stature will
come from Ar-Ray. He will be dark and from the children of Tamim -- a
Wasaj, named Shuayb son of Salih with four thousand men. Their clothes will be
white and Banners black, and at his front is the Mahdi. He meets no one that he
does not defeat and scatter."
Above Hadith is clearly
indicating that black banners will come from city Ar-Ray of southern Khorasan
which is not in Pakistan neither in Afghanistan but in Iran. See Wikipedia
Ray, South Khorasan.
There is another city
Rey near
Tehran and Caspian Sea in Iran.
Mughal Emperor Babur wrote in his
memoirs that Indians used to call all non-Indians as Khorasanis. Regarding the location
of Khorasan, it is written: "On the road between Hindustan and Khorasan,
there are two great marts: the one Kabul, the other Kandahar." i.e. these
cities were not part of Khorasan as they are present in way to Khorasan.
In modern day world the ancient
Khorasan is divided into five central Asian countries Iran, Afghanistan,
Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. Some Pakistani scholars claim little
tribal area in northern Pakistan is also part of Khorasan region but at time of
Prophet Muhammad (
صلى الله عليه وسلم)
and Caliphate major area of Pakistan is called Sindh,
Taank and Kashmir. Historical any area of Pakistan was not part of Khorasan.
Region Sindh is also referred in following Hadiths of Ghawa-e-Hind.
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ) says that my
intimate friend Hadhrat Muhammad (Sall-Allaho-'Alayhe-Wasallam) told me that:
“In this Ummah, the troops would be
headed towards SINDH & hind”
Hadhrat Abu Hurairah (R.A.) says
that, one day Huzoor (Sall-Allaho-'Alayhe-Wasallam) said while talking about
India (Hindustan):
“Surely, your one troop would fight
with Hindustan & Allah would Bless those Warriors (Mujahid) with success,
that they would bring the leaders of SINDH in fetters, Allah would forgive the
Warriors. Then, when they would return, they would find Isa Ibn-e-Maryam (علیہ السلام) in Syria”.
Who are Khorasanis?
People of
Khorasan are Persian and Turkic people. Pashtun are basically Persian ethnic group lived in east of Persian Empire. Wikipedia says "Early precursors to some of the Pashtuns may have been old Iranian tribes that spread throughout the eastern Iranian plateau. According to the Russian scholar Yu. V. Gankovsky, the Pashtuns probably began as a "union of largely East-Iranian tribes which became the initial ethnic stratum of the Pashtun ethnogenesis, dates from the middle of the first millennium CE and is connected with the dissolution of the Epthalites (White Huns) confederacy." He proposes Kushan-o-Ephthalite origin for Pashtuns but others draw a different conclusion. According to Abdul Hai Habibi some oriental scholars hold that the second largest Pasthun tribe, the Ghilzais, are the descendants of a mixed race of Hephthalite and Pakhtas who have been living in Afghanistan since the Vedic Aryan period". For detail see
Pashtun People and
Ethnic groups
in Afghanistan in Wikipedia. Today Pashtun people live in Khorasan in minority like in Iranian provenances North Khorasan and South Khorasan, cities Balkh, Herat and Taloqan of Afghanistan.
Other ethnic group
lives in Khorasan is Khorasani Turks. Qizilbash are Khorasani
Turkic-speaking people inhabiting part of northeastern Iran, and in the
neighboring regions of Turkmenistan up to beyond the Amu Darya River; and speak
the Khorasani Turkic, and live in the North Khorasan, Razavi Khorasan and
Golestan provinces of Iran. See Khorasani Turks in Wikipedia.
Persian People
Turkic people
The Turkic peoples are a collection of ethnic groups that live in northern, eastern, central and western Asia, northwestern China and parts of eastern Europe. See Turkic People in Wikipedia.
Many other ethnic groups were Turkified like Turkic-Mongol whole ruled vast area. See Turco-Mongol in Wikipedia.
Mughal were also Turkic-Mongol who ruled over India for 330 years. See Mughal Tribe and Mughal Empire in Wikipedia.
Mongol people were also Turkified just like people of Anatolian, Balkan, Caucasian and Middle East people were Turkified. Turkification is a process of cultural or political change in which anyone can adopt politics or culture of Turkic people and become Turk. For detail see Turkification in Wikipedia.
Turkish Islamic Union:
Turkish Islamic Union is a Islamic Union which will not be an arbitrary, bureaucratic union. It will not be based on oppression. It will exist to build world peace, not to engage in enmity or take revenge or as a threatening element. Through this union, members of all faiths will be able to worship freely and visit all those sites that are sacred to their particular faith, while their possessions, lives and honor will be under the protection of the Turkish-Islamic Union.
Under this union, unbelievers and the irreligious will also live in peace and be free to express their opinions. It will not based on any ethnic group but Turkification and modernization of corrupt political system under leadership of Turkey. For detail see
A Call For Turkish Islamic Union.
Hadiths about Constantinople:
Some writers used following hadith to prove that people of
Khorasan are Pashtun or Talibaan as they believe they are lost tribe of Bani
Israel as mentioned in a research paper
The
Bilad-e-Khurasan in Making but history doesn't prove this claim.
Narrated Abu Hurayrah: Allah's
Apostle (صلى الله عليه وسلم)
said:
“You have heard of the city, one
side of which is inclined and the other is on the coast (Constantinople). They
said: Yes, Allah's Apostle (صلى الله عليه
وسلم).
Thereupon he said: The Last Hour will not come until 70,000 people from the
children of Israel attack it. When they land there, they will neither fight
with weapons nor shower arrows but will only say: ‘There is no god but Allah
and Allah is the Greatest,’ and one side of it will fall. Thawr (one of the
narrators) said: I think that he said: The area on the coast. Then they will
say for the second time: ‘There is no god but Allah and Allah is the Greatest,’
and the other side will also fall. They will say: ‘There is no god but Allah is
the Greatest,’ and the gates will be opened for them and they will enter. They
will be collecting spoils of war and distributing them among themselves when a
noise will be heard and it will be said: Verily, the Dajjal has come. Thus they
will leave everything there and turn to (confront) him.”
(Sahih Muslim Book No: 40 No:
6979)
They concluded Imam Mahdi (
علیہ السلام) will attack Constantinople
(Istanbul) with help of Talibaan (Pashtun) and conquered this city as Pashtun are
belonged to lost tribe of Bani Israel. If we read Hadith carefully then it is
clearly stated that children of Israel will be helper of Imam Mahdi who will
capture Istanbul spiritually and peacefully by preaching religion without using weapons.
They will preach people about existence and greatness of Allah. They
will defeat materialistic and atheist ideologies like Darwinism and Communism
intellectually. They will correct first faith of people of Constantinople. Who are
these people? They are many (70,000 means many in Arabic) helpers of Imam
Mahdi. They will by
Sayyid
and Sharif descendants from Sayyidina Ali (
علیہ السلام) and they are also Israelite.
According to Jewish belief, even
if one is a convert, the fact that a person has a Jewish bloodline from a
mother makes that person of Jewish origin. Blessed mother '
Fatima bint Asad ibn
Hashim' of Sayyidina Ali (
علیہ السلام) was daughter of
Jewish princes ZAHNA whose father was Hofnai 32nd EXILARCH
KAPHNAI of Baghdad, descendant of King David
or Prophet Daud (
علیہ السلام)
of Jerusalem, ruled 560-581.
Her brother, also born to KAPHNAI [in
English, sometimes written as Hofnai] is Haninai. Consequently, the sons born
to Sayyidina Ali (
علیہ السلام)
, grandson of the princes ZAHNA
, and their descendants are all physically
linked to Prophet Daud (
علیہ السلام)
and are Israelites. See
Exilarch
in Wikipedia. So
descendant of Sayyidina
Ali (
علیہ السلام) are children of
Israel mentioned in above Hadith. They are not Pashtun or Taaliban as people of east or Khorasan are not mentioned in this particular hadith.
Imam Mahdi (علیہ السلام) will resemble those
of Children of Israel in appearance:
Following Hadith proves Imam
Mahdi (علیہ السلام) will be descendant of Prophet Daud (علیہ السلام) as his physical
appearance will resemble those of Children of Israel.
“Hazrat Mahdi (علیہ السلام) is one of my grandchildren. ... HIS COMPLEXION RESEMBLES THAT
OF THE ARABS AND HIS BODY RESEMBLES THOSE OF THE PEOPLE OF ISRAEL...”
[Abu Abdillah Muhammad bin Yusuf Ganji Shafei,
Al-Bayan Fi Akhbar Sahib az-Zaman)
“Hazrat Mahdi's (علیہ السلام) stature and posture resemble those of the People of Israel.”
(Ibn Hajar al-Haythami, Al-Qawl
al-Mukhtasar fi `Alamat al-Mahdi al-Muntadhar, pp. 36-29.)
“His body is an Israelite one.”
(Al-Muttaqi al-Hindi, Al-Burhan
fi Alamat al-Mahdi Akhir az-Zaman, p. 24)
Abdullah bin Harith says:
“HAZRAT MAHDI (علیہ السلام) will rise at the age of forty and will RESEMBLE THE CHILDREN
OF ISRAEL (in terms of appearance).”
(Al-Hawi lil-fatawi, vol. 2, p.
135)
According to Judaic scriptures
Imam Mahdi (علیہ السلام) will be present in Constantinople.
Just as Moses was brought up in the house of Pharaoh among
the enemies of his people, so also will Messiah dwell in the city of Rome*,
among the destroyers of his land. [Exodus Rabbah, Chap. I; Tanhuma, Shemoth, 8,
and Tazri’a, 8. Cf. also Sanhedrin 19b.]
* Constantinople, the capital city of Roman Empire, was
given the name “Nova Roma” in Latin, i.e. “New Rome” by Constantin I in 324.
Just as Moses was raised in the House of Pharaoh in Egypt,
so the Messiah will be in Rome. [Kohelet Rabbah, I, 9][ii]
Rabbi Yehoshua ben Levi meets Elijah the Prophet and asks,
“… Where can I find Mashiach?” Elijah tells him, “Go to the gates* of Rome and
there you’ll find him.” [Talmud Sanhedrin 98a]
* 50 gates exist on
Constantinople city walls.
"WHEN THE KING MOSHIACH WHO
IS IN THE NORTH WIL ARISE, he will come and build the Beis Hamikdash [Masjid of
the Prophet Solomon (علیہ السلام)] which is situated
in the South."
(Mishnah, Midos 2:1; Jerusalem Talmud, Megillah 1:11)

Let we first examine holy city
al-Madīnah al-Munawwarah (first Madina) then try to find which city is actual
Madina-e-Sani (second Madina).
Imam Mahdi (علیہ السلام) will never shed blood:
EVERYONE WHO EXPECTS BLOODSHED IN THE NEXT PART OF THE END TIMES ARE MAKING A SERIOUS ERROR. NEITHER THE PROPHET JESUS (pbuh) NOR HAZRAT MAHDI (pbuh) WILL EVER SHED BLOOD. ON THE CONTRARY, THEY WILL CAUSE THE MORAL VALUES OF THE RELIGION TO PREVAIL WITH LOVE, AFFECTION, GENTLE WORDS AND COMPASSION.
