The wickedness and war that people experience in this world are actually a taste of hell

From Mr. Adnan Oktar’s interview on A9 TV on 24 February 2015
-  In the context of hell, we have spoken about their behavior, of the way they push one about and express their regret.
- When people arrive in hell they are asked, ‘Were you not sent a messenger?’  They admit that they were. Then the guardians say; ‘So in that case you deserve what you get. Enter the gates of hell and remain there for all time.’
ADNAN OKTAR: Some people, particularly the young, say, ‘The flames and chains are figments of people’s imaginations.’ But look around you here. There are chains and cages all over the Middle East. This is going on everywhere. People are being burned in cages, bombs rain down from the sky, and millions of people are living in ruins. You say, ‘That does not happen.’ But it is happening in this world! Who is doing it? God. ‘I will do this in the hereafter, too,’ He says. But not all of hell is like that. It is quite various. Some parts are filthy and squalid. There are flames in other parts. Other parts are freezing cold. There is total silence in some parts. The aim is to make people really uncomfortable. It is the same in this world. When you go to the North Pole it is freezing cold. You go somewhere else and it is baking hot. People are literally being cooked alive. Hell is like that. But of course Almighty God uses an arresting kind of language to describe it in the Qur’an. When you see it happening, you will realize it is true. The reality and the description are rather different though. It is the same with the system of the Mahdi. The reality and the descriptions differ. The system of the Mahdi is happening now, but the description is wonderful. For example, our Prophet (pbuh) says. ‘The Mahdi will speak and the whole world will listen.’ People imagine that means he will shout out in a loud voice. Obviously not. They think he will have a very loud, deep voice. It doesn’t matter how deep his voice is, it would still be impossible for everyone to hear it. It obviously refers to TV and the internet.
- Muslims in paradise say, ‘Similar things were shown us in the life of the world, insha’Allah. The people in hell also see similar things.

Adnan Oktar’s answer to the question, ‘Are fun and music permissible if one lives by the faith?’

From Mr. Adnan Oktar’s interview on A9 TV on February 16th, 2015
ADNAN OKTAR: ‘How is the faith compatible with fun and music?’ one viewer asks. He has failed to realize that in the Qur’an life is meant to be full of joy, and that this world should be like paradise. They regard religion as meaning pain, suffering and misery. They believe that if someone is devout he should have a miserable time. All the beauties of life are part of the faith – music, joy, fun, love and everything. Religion encapsulates all of life and makes them all permissible. There are very few things that are illegitimate and forbidden. But there is no end to things that are lawful. In their eyes, music is sinful, fun is sinful and everything is sinful.
- Because they fail to realize that God is everywhere. They imagine there can be no God in a place where there is music and dancing, may He forbid. God enfolds all places.
ADNAN OKTAR: They believe one cannot think of God while one is having fun. They believe one would have to forget God if one goes to a wedding or a disco. Or that one will forget God if one listens to the radio. They think it is impossible to speak of Allah under those circumstances. They believe one will forget God if one goes dancing and has fun. That is very, very wrong.
- The whole problem is that they are suffering and complaining all the time. But they are also used to it, so they keep on doing it.
- God creates a feeling of joy every day, including when one is dancing or listening to music.
ADNAN OKTAR: They do not believe it. They regard it as incompatible with Islam for a woman to dress well. They believe a woman should have a wretched time and suffer.
- God tells the polytheists, “Let them laugh little and weep much, in repayment for what they have earned.”.
ADNAN OKTAR: All they want is tears and weeping. God says, “Let them laugh little and weep much.” And they are always saying, ‘Let us weep and shed tears.’
Özgecan Aslan was martyred defending her honor and virtue. Because that was jihad, active jihad.
The culture of mourning is so widespread in Turkey! They always want to be mourning. If we let them, they would mourn day and night for years on end, for anything.
- They do nothing to find a solution. They just mourn.
ADNAN OKTAR: Mourning all the time.

Information from the Qur’an about preliminary location of the testes in the fetus

Man has only to look at what he was created from. He was created from a spurting fluid, emerging from between the back-bone and the breast-bone.(Surat at-Tariq, 5-7)
Significant details emerge when we look at the information in the Qur’an concerning human creation; the term ‘spurting fluid’ in Surat at-Tariq refers to semen. The above verses describe the preliminary location of the testes in the embryo, and their embryological origin in detail, with perfect accuracy
As the baby develops in the mother’s womb, the testes develop in the same place as the kidneys, between the backbone and the ribs. This area is known as the lumbar region. The testes develop from the ventromedial (front, central) part of the tissue known as the mesonephros (middle kidney). (The ovaries also derive from the same tissue.)
Once the testes have developed in this region they move downward inside the abdominal cavity as of the third month of pregnancy. As a result of this journey through the abdomen they find themselves descended into the testicular sac known as the scrotum. This passage is generally completed by birth, or soon after. This embryological fact is known in literature as the ‘descent of the testes'.
These facts from the science of embryology are exactly described in the following verses; Man has only to look at what he was created from. He was created from a spurting fluid, emerging from between the back-bone and the breast-bone (Surat at-Tarik, 5-7).
Just as the verses reveal in the words “beyni (between) essulbi (the back-bone) wa etteraibi (and the breast bone ….)”, the testes depart from the region between the back-bone and the ribs during the development of the baby and ultimately descend down to the testicular sac.
The fact that the Qur’an describes such detailed information about the testes, where the sperm are produced, is further proof that it was revealed by God, the Creator of all.

Evolutionary nonsense that denies the existence of God is taught in schools in Iran, which is supposedly governed according to Shariah law

From Mr. Adnan Oktar’s interview on Pleasant Conversations on A9TV on 20 February 2015
ADNAN OKTAR: Almighty God has created a time in which believers can earn a very great deal of merit. Just think, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Libya and Iran all talk about Shariah and Islam. Yet there are museums in those countries that display paleontological evidence, and people say, ‘There is no God.’ There are books, biology text books in Saudi Arabia or Iran. You open them up and from start to finish they say that there is no God. You ask Iran, and they say, ‘We are a Shariah state.’ Don’t lie, you are a communist state. You work hand in hand with communists. You can be friends with them, nothing wrong with that, but you are communists. It is not true that you are governed by Shariah Law. You are misleading people. Be honest. You openly deny God. Where is the Shariah Law in that? You openly deny God. When we staged conferences in Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria, those people were amazed. “Darwinism is a fact,” they say. Sheikhs and mullahs and religious scholars all say, “Darwinism is a fact.” If you regard it as the truth, then what is that skull cap doing on your head? You espouse a system that denies God. Do you realize what you are doing?
- I held a conference at the Sheikh Zayyid University in the UAE, as your representative, with medical faculty students and teachers. Students complained to their teachers, saying, “If this is a lie, why are you still teaching it?”
- They were really taken aback. “Is this all true?” they asked. “Yes, it is,” we said. They were stunned.
ADNAN OKTAR: Godless propaganda is being spread all over the place, in all Islamic countries. This is the first time that has happened. This is the first time in the history in the world there has been such a tragedy, and a great many people are currently asleep, 99% of them are asleep in the face of this scourge. Something is said against the Prophet and everyone rises to their feet. But God is being directly denied. Pull yourselves together. Something that will bring the sky down on us is happening. God is being denied in schools. ‘God did not create you, and your ancestors were worms,’ they are told. See, they deny Hazrat Adam (pbuh). ‘That is a lie,’ they say, ‘Your forebear was a worm. You came into being by chance.’ And even though this is happening in the Islamic world, 99% of Muslims are unaware of it. They talk about these and teach it, but are unaware of what they are advocating. You are denying God when you teach Darwinism. You are saying. ‘The Prophet lied, and God does not exist,’ may He forbid.
- Dawkins says that Charles Darwin made it possible to be an intellectual atheist.
ADNAN OKTAR: “Charles Darwin made it possible to be an intellectual atheist.” That is how they created atheism across the world. For example, you have mullahs and teachers in Islamic countries who are atheists and Darwinists, but they themselves do not realize that is what they are. “Of course that is true. It is what the Qur’an says,” they say.
- Fethullah Gulen says, “Darwin’s theory defeated me. But then someone appeared and wrote books, and that rescued me again.”
ADNAN OKTAR: “I had been devastated,” Fethullah Hodja says. “And the young people around me had been devastated.” “Darwinism ruined us,” he says. Then, “may God bless the writer, hundreds of books appeared. You cannot imagine how much I rejoiced.” But Fethullah Hodja does not say who wrote those books. That is secret.
- There is only one person [whom he might be talking about.]
- Everybody knows.

A Muslim Woman Knows How to Dress in Accordance with the Qur'an

One important point that needs to be made here is that a Muslim woman knows perfectly well how to dress in accordance with the Qur'an so there is no need for a man to tell women how to dress. A man has no right whatsoever to interfere in what a woman wears, much less tell her how to dress or judge her. God has not given man that right. Today, this is an important matter that needs to be brought up and emphasized, especially in Muslim societies.
A woman may wear the head-covering, or cover herself up entirely or uncover her head or wear low-cut clothes. Once she says, “I am a Muslim,” nobody has the right to judge her. It is known only in the Sight of God which is more virtuous. It is sincerity that counts in the faith, not clothing. In the same way that someone who covers up entirely may be insincere and go to hell, a woman who wears low-cut clothes may also earn the right to enter paradise. It is God alone Who will decide.
When people adopt guides other than the Qur'an, problems arise that are unsuited to human nature and will invariably make trouble of one kind or another. These also cease to be individual problems and can transform into social conflicts or problems. The distinction based on forms of dress – such as with or without the head-covering, or low-cut clothing versus covering up entirely - is a false perception that has no place in the Qur'an and leads to tensions in society. God reveals in a verse that according to the Qur'an, superiority lies not in dress and external appearance but in piety, or taqwa (acting out of a fear of God):
Children of Adam! We have sent down clothing to you to conceal your private parts, as well as to be an adornment to you, but the garment of piety–that is best! That is one of God's signs, so that hopefully you will pay heed. (Qur'an, 7:26)
Faith is lived and made reality in the heart. Faith manifests itself through moral virtues, a person's warmth, affection, generosity, forgiving nature, quality, culture, manners and conception of art and science; in short, in everything. It is therefore important to evaluate people through their moral values, not by their external appearance.
No matter what their external appearance, people who say, “I am a Muslim” are all precious Muslims. It is wrong to discriminate between them. Nobody has the right to discriminate.
