Allah, not chance, created the universe

The universe was created in a moment by Almighty Allah telling it “Be!” Created in such a short time, the universe still possesses a glorious variety and harmony. Allah’s creation of the entire universe is a great blessing for human beings, because it shows us that we are under the control of the Omniscient Allah.

The universe, which enfolds outer space and all things, possesses an immaculate creation, matchless systems and includes our Earth with a balance and order meeting all the conditions needed to sustain life. All scientific findings in the 20th and 21st Centuries in particular show that the universe is the result of an immaculate creation. The one truth revealed by science is that All-Mighty and All-Knowing Allah created the universe.

The observable universe

Researchers calculate the age of the universe at 13.8 billion years. However, that calculation is based on the link between the speed of light and distance, and a distance of 13.8 billion light years is observable from the Earth. This is rather like only being able to see a certain distance around from a ship in the middle of the ocean. In the same way, scientists are able to see a distance of 13.8 billion light years from the Earth with their telescopes. As shown by the use of the word “observable,” we are still unaware of the existence of a region beyond that distance. It is therefore impossible for us to acquire absolutely definitive information about the age of the universe or its dimensions. However, the scientifically proven fact is that this universe we are still unable to observe is constantly expanding. Another interesting feature of the universe, whose age we are unable to calculate, is that it was created from nothing in the explosion known as the “Big Bang.” The universe we cannot observe, and whose age we do not know, survives at this wondrous size within a flawless order at the command of our Almighty Lord. In revealing this matchless creation of the universe in the Qur’an, Almighty Allah also reminds us of His greatness:

“Do those who are disbelievers not see that the heavens and the earth were sewn together and then We unstitched them and that We made from water every living thing? So will they not have faith?” (Surat Al-Anbiya, 30)

The sensitive tasks of supernovae in the universe 

A giant star destroys itself in a huge explosion and all the matter it contains is scattered at high speed in all directions. The light emitted during this explosion is thousands of times more powerful than that normally given off by the star. The scattering of a star in this way is known as a supernova.

Astronomers estimate that these explosions serve to carry matter from one point in the universe to another. The stellar wastes scattered in the explosion are believed to collect in other corners of the universe and to form new stars or stellar systems. According to this hypothesis, the sun, the planets in the solar system and of course our earth all emerged as the result of a supernova explosion in very, very remote times. 

The amazing thing however is that supernovae, which might look like ordinary explosions at first sight, are in fact built around highly sensitive balances. As Michael Denton writes in his book Nature’s Destiny:

“The distances between supernovae and indeed between all stars is critical for other reasons. The distance between stars in our galaxy is about 30 million miles. If this distance was much less, planetary orbits would be destabilized. If it was much more, then the debris thrown out by a supernova would be so diffusely distributed that planetary systems like our own would in all probability never form. If the cosmos is to be a home for life, then the flickering of the supernovae must occur at a very precise rate and the average distance between them, and indeed between all stars, must be very close to the actual observed figure.” (Michael Denton, Nature’s Destiny: How the Laws of Biology Reveal Purpose in the Universe, New York: The Free Press: 1998, p. 11)

The solar system

One of the areas where we can most clearly observe the regularity in the universe is the solar system, home to our earth. The solar system contains eight planets and 54 satellites dependent on those planets. In order of their proximity to the sun, these planets are Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune and Uranus. The only one of these planets and 54 satellites with a surface and atmosphere suited to life is our Earth.

When we look at the structure of the Solar System, we again encounter a remarkable balance. The effect that protects the planets from being cast off into the icy depths of space is the balance between the “gravitational attraction of the sun” and the “centrifugal force” of the planets. Due to its great gravitational force, the sun attracts the planets toward it, while they try to escape from it through the centrifugal force set up by their orbits. However, if the planets’ orbits were slightly slower, these planets would be pulled toward the sun and be swallowed by it in a tremendous explosion.

The opposite might also apply. If the planets orbited the sun slightly faster, the power of the sun would be unable to restrain them and the planets would simply spin off into the void of outer space. Yet this highly sensitive balance has been put in place, and the system survives because it is maintained by that balance.

At this point it needs to be stated that the balance in question is instituted separately for each planet because the planets lie at very different distances from the sun. Their masses are also very different. They all therefore need to have different orbital velocities in order not to fly away into space or plunge into the sun. Almighty Allah reveals this glorious order He has created in this verse:

“It is not for the sun to overtake the moon nor for the night to outstrip the day; each one is swimming in a sphere.” (Surah Ya Sin, 40)

Each one of the planets in the universe, great or small, is a component that is of crucial importance to this order. Neither their positions in space nor their courses are at all random: On the contrary, they are all created with numerous details, some of which we know and others not, and for a specific purpose. Indeed, of all the factors that affect the balances in the universe, just a minute change in the position of the planets would be enough to tear apart all these inter-related balances. Yet these balances are never compromised, and the perfect order in the universe continues uninterrupted. This is the immaculate creation by Almighty Allah.

Postpone Unimportant Matters That Trouble You"For a Few Decades"

While believers are safe from any devilish influence, satan may sometimes try to instill doubts in them in something they do. One important secret that God reveals in the Qur’an is how to escape such whisperings.

This is a very important matter for believers who fear God because this whispering consists of deceptive words uttered by satan to turn people away from God and waste their time by preoccupying them with aimless and empty things.

People sometimes blow small things out of all proportion. Even though a minor issue is unimportant, they regard it as the most important thing in life at that time. The more they concentrate on that, the more they begin to exaggerate it in their own mind.

From one point of view, this subject may really be so important as to affect a person’s life: From another point of view, however, that subject is less important than a grain of sand compared to all the numerous major issues in the world.

People may perhaps fail to realize how trivial that subject actually is. Yet there is one way of appreciating that fact; if you stop and think back for a moment, you will see that you cannot even remember any of the issues that preoccupied you decades in the past. Indeed, there is no need to go back as far as that. Even if you go back a few years, a few months, or even just a few weeks, you will be unable to remember any of the matters that troubled you, made you unhappy, caused you to brood silently, made you keep away from people, or that had a profound effect and that you thought would last forever. If you do remember them, you will quickly see that they were utterly trivial because that subject you thought had a profound influence on your life no longer troubles you at all; so much so that it passes through your mind in just a few seconds, like a remnant from the past.

What Remains from a Few Years, a Few Months or a Few Weeks Ago?

The answer to this question will have a profound and radical effect on your life. All that remains is your closeness to God, your love of God, your devotion, your good works and your determination. If you exhibited good moral values a decade ago by thinking of God and hoping for His love, if you behaved morally and sought refuge in God when you encountered any trouble, great or small, then that day has turned into a great blessing for you in this world and the hereafter.

It is very important not to forget this truth, which is quite apparent when you think back 10 years, at the present moment. If there are matters, great or small, that are troubling you now, do not forget that these will to a large extent be quite unimportant in the future. Do not forget that you may not even recall the majority of them, that you will smile inwardly at how much you exaggerated them, and that you will see how trivial they were when you look at them more maturely and profoundly.

Postponing Trivial Concerns Thwarts All Satan's Plans 

When something occurs to trouble you, set it to one side by saying, “I am postponing this matter for five or ten years. I will not think about it then.”  In all probability, when that time comes, by God’s leave, you will probably not even remember the issue that caused you so much worry and that it is no longer of the slightest importance. Concentrate completely on God and devote your energies to earning His approval and living by the moral values of the Qur’an. Do not allow a minor matter to preoccupy you or prevent you from doing the good things that will earn God’s approval and behaving well. Do not forget that the only way to use your mind in the clearest and freest way, and to be able to concentrate in the most useful way,  is to live in the knowledge that there is no other power than God, that the whole world, all events and all people are under the control of God and that not a single leaf will fall unless God so wishes.

God’s approval is more important than any minor matter than may preoccupy one in this world; a believer has a responsibility to concentrate on God and to live by the values He desires. The life of this world will definitely come to an end. Everything in one’s life and all the people one knows will suddenly come to an end. But it is our Lord alone, the al-Baqi, the Everlasting that one must think about and turn all one’s love and attention and energies toward. God has revealed this in the Qur’an:

“Everything in the heavens and the earth belongs to God. He knows what you are engaged upon. On the Day when they are returned to Him, He will inform them of what they did. God has knowledge of all things.” (Surat an-Nur, 64)

“What! Are they in doubt about the meeting with their Lord? What! Does He not encompass all things?” (Surat al-Fussilat, 54)

Tribalized States Or Tribes That Are Effectively States In The Middle East

Tribes are a social organization based on family lines and can be seen in almost all the Arab lands. Tribes are also the most important elements in social life and even in politics in Yemen.

The spirit of tribal solidarity confers advantages on their members. It is also easier, by means of tribes, to relocate and manage human and animal populations and run large territories. That is why tribes have managed to survive in Arab lands from the agricultural period down to today’s modern era.

One simply cannot see this social structure in Europe today; groups based on family lines lost all validity following the Industrial Revolution and with the foundation of nation states on the road to democracy.

In the Middle East, however, the state’s use of tribal populations and authority in order to strengthen its control over the people has led to tribes becoming even stronger. Tribes whose authority is made use of are usually repaid by leaders with prestige and important posts within the state.

As a result, tribalism is today even more powerful. As tribes become stronger they begin shaping political life, and they transform themselves into quasi-states. When the authority of a leader that binds tribes together is lost, as happened in post-Saddam Iraq and in Libya after the overthrow of Qaddafi, they enter into conflicts of interest and start fighting one another.

One can see similar developments in Yemen, a part of the Middle East. Many party leaders are also leaders of the tribes they belong to. The overwhelming influence of tribes on the state is still continuing decades after the revolution of September 1962. For example, fifty-eight percent of the Yemeni parliament headed by Abdullah al Ahmar in 1969 consisted of tribal leaders. As the tribal leaders grow older, they are replaced by their children, and the system carries on. The influence of tribes is not limited to politics, by the way; important figures in the military are also leaders or members of tribes.

Tribes also try to increase their influence and power in an unjust manner by means of favoritism. Tribal leaders are generally even able to step outside party policies in order to strength their own influence. Every tribe can organize and protect its own territory, much like a nation-state. That leads to enormous competition in the country; that competition leads to divisions, and those divisions lead to various conflicts.

One can see two tribes with the same language, ethnicity or religion fighting to the death in Yemen. That of course means a serious breakdown in state authority in Yemen, as well as in peace and unity.

It is a violation of Qur’anic morality for members of Muslim tribes to be in conflict. Allah speaks of family relations, blood ties and tribes in the Qur’an, although Muslim unity is stressed as more important than all these. According to the Qur’an, all believers are brothers, no matter what their gender, race, color or tribe, and they have a duty to treat one another justly.

In the Qur’an, Allah commands believers to be united, to stand together in ranks against disbelief, to regard and love one another as brothers, to be compassionate, forgiving and protective toward one another and to strongly avoid fragmentation and division. Believers have a duty to be united according to the Qur’an. As stated in one verse:

Hold fast to the rope of Allah all together, and do not separate. Remember Allah’s blessing to you when you were enemies and He joined your hearts together so that you became brothers by His blessing. You were on the very brink of a pit of the Fire and He rescued you from it. In this way Allah makes His signs clear to you, so that hopefully you will be guided. (Surah Al ‘Imran, 103)

From this and similar verses, and from the Qur’an as a whole, we can see that Muslims have an obligation

• To be united;
• To be bound to one another with brotherly love and affection;
• Not to argue and fall out;
• To be one another’s friends and guardians;
• To watch out for and protect one another under all circumstances;
• To counsel one another;
• And to wage an intellectual struggle against denial in ranks like well-built walls.

Any contrary form of behavior, that is

• Being divisive instead of inclusive;
• Not treating one’s Muslim brothers with love and affection;
• Not being forgiving and protective toward one’s Muslim brothers;
• And not standing side by side with other Muslims in the intellectual struggle against denial is forbidden. 

The Yemenis must abandon divisions and differences and remember the fact that all Muslims are “brothers.” They must act as a role model to the world with the moral values this spiritual brotherhood brings with it. The spirit of brotherhood between believers is a gift and a blessing from Allah; Yemenis must therefore give thanks to Allah for this blessing and not forget His command “not to separate.”

In verse 13 of Surat al-Hujurat, Almighty Allah states that He has created differences between people as a means for them to come to know one another, not as a source of conflict. Allah wants Muslims to compete in good deeds, not to fight each other because of their differences. Members of tribes in Yemen must begin at once working for the good of all Muslims. Only then can Yemen strengthen its democracy as a secure and prosperous country.

Surat Al-Hijr; Verse 56  

He said, ´Who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except for misguided people?´

The Prophet says, “Who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except for misguided people?” We see this in many people; they despair of the mercy of their Lord. Actually God says that it is misguidance. God has power over all things. Everything happens as preordained in destiny. 

Surat Al-Hijr; Verses 57-58-59-60

He added, ´What is your business, messengers?´ They said, ´We have been sent to a people who are evildoers —with the exception of the family of Lot, all of whom We will save, except for his wife. We have decreed her to be one of those who stay behind.´

Even though he is a Prophet, he doesn’t know that his wife is a hypocrite. 

Surat Al-Hijr; Verses 61-62 

When the Messengers came to the family of Lut, he said, ´You are people we do not know.´ 

So he says, “I do not know you”

Surat Al- Hijr; Verses 63-68 

They said, ´We have come to you with what they had doubts about. We have brought you the truth and we are certainly truthful men. Travel with your family in the dead of night, following behind with them in front of you. None of you must look back. Go where you are ordered to.´ We revealed to him the command We had decreed: that on the following morning the last remnant of those people would be cut off. The people of the city came, exulting at the news. He said, ´These are my guests so do not put me to shame. 

Sexually deviant people pound at the Prophet Lot’s door. They have an immoral point of view towards the angels. In that era, women have been masculinized and men have been feminized. Women had a ragged, repulsive, masculinized appearance just like what the radicals are trying to turn them into right about now and that is why men became feminized. 

Surat Al- Hijr; Verses 69-70

Have awe of Allah and do not dishonor me.´ They said, ´Did we not forbid you to play host to anyone at all?´ 

That means they always say that to the preachers; “What’s that to you? You have no business with that! Let whoever it is explain whatever is needed to be explain!” That is something Muslims are frequently told. 

Surat Al-Hijr; Verse 71

He said, ´Here are my daughters if you are determined to do something.´

 “Have legitimate relations with them, but do not engage in sexual perversion,” he says. 

Surat Al-Hijr; Verse 72 

By your life! They were wandering blindly in their drunkenness!

That means they are blind in the drunkenness of bigotry; they fail to see the Truth and they have a foolish spirit,  a rampant and aggressive spirit. 

Surat Al-Hijr; Verses 73-74 

So the Great Blast seized hold of them at the break of day. We turned the place completely upside down and rained down on them stones of hard-baked clay. 

That means their houses crashed down upon them.  God mentions “stones of hard-baked clay” because the houses at that time were brick houses; so those brick houses crashed down upon them. 

Surat Al- Hijr; Verses 75-76

There are certainly Signs in that for the discerning. They were beside a road which still exists.

There is certainly a Sign in that for Muslims.

But that is for those who have faith.

Surat Al-Hijr; Verses 78-79

The people of the Thicket were also wrongdoers. We took revenge on them as well. They are both beside a well-beaten track. 

So Almighty God says, “The wreckage of their destruction is there, go and see them yourselves.” 

Surat Al-Hijr; Verses 81-94 

We brought them Our Signs but they turned away from them. They carved out houses from the mountains, feeling safe, but the Great Blast seized hold of them in the morning, so all that they earned was of no use to them. We did not create the heavens and earth and everything between them, except with truth. The Hour is certainly coming, so turn away graciously. Your Lord, He is the Creator, the All-Knowing. We have given you the Seven Often repeated and the Magnificent Qur´an. Do not direct your eyes longingly to what We have given certain of them to enjoy. Do not feel sad concerning them. And take Muslims under your wing. Say: ´I am indeed a clear warner.´ Just as We sent down punishment on the dissectors, those who divide the Qur´an into little pieces. By your Lord, We will question them all, every one of them, about what they did! Proclaim what you have been ordered to and turn away from the idolaters.

“We brought them Our Signs but they turned away from them.” They did not listen to the Qur’an. “They carved houses from the mountain, feeling safe but the Great Blast seized hold of them in the morning so all that they earned was of no use to them.  We did not create the heavens and earth and everything between them, except with truth.” That means everything; for instance televisions, glass, rosaries, mirrors, whatever one might think of;  shoes, everything, all of them are created with a goal. “The Hour is certainly coming…” The time for the Last Day is coming “… so turn away graciously.” Meaning preach religion with fair admonition, have a reasonable way of explaining things and refrain from destructive manners.“Your Lord, He is the Creator, the All-Knowing.” Almighty God says “I am the One creating everything”  “We have given you the Seven Often repeated and the Magnificent Qur´an.” This is the 87th verse and the number “7” is mentioned. “Say: ´I am indeed a clear warner’.”  So he is simply a warner. “Just as We sent down punishment on the dissectors…”Muslims are all divided. For instance they are now trying to divide Turkey, they are trying to divide Islam; they attempt to divide them into denominations, into groups. “… those who divide the Qur´an into little pieces.”  They say that a part of the Qur’an has been taken out and  that part is deemed null. And some of them claim that hadiths are the additions to the Qur’an. They claim that there are added verses to the Qur’an that we are unaware of.  They claim that there are verses except for those in the Qur’an. That is how the radicals have formed a religion right now. “By your Lord, We will question them all, every one of them, about what they did!” says God. “Proclaim what you have been ordered to and turn away from the idolaters.” Who are those idolaters? That radical lot. “They might snipe at you, they can make sharp remarks, they can talk nonsense from the internet, from here or there but you should not be affected by them,” says Almighty God.

- A very powerful explosion took place today in a hotel where Assad’s troops were staying in Aleppo. The Islamic front, one of the opposition groups, has claimed responsibility. A statement says that 50 soldiers lost their lives.

Adnan Oktar: The bloodshed will not cease without the Mahdi. That is clear from his name, 'Mehdi ad-Dam,' our Prophet (pbuh) calls him the Mahdi who stops the bloodshed. It is God Who creates bloodshed and God Who will end it. Almighty God says He will stop it through the Mahdi. 

- Verses reveal this, "What reason could you have for not struggling in the Way of God – for those men, women and children who are oppressed and say, ‘Our Lord, take us out of this city whose inhabitants are wrongdoers!?” 4/75

Adnan Oktar: Masha’Allah. Read the verse again, word by word. 

Look, Muslims are praying for a guardian or protector to help them. They ask what need there is for a Mahdi. Do you see God’s sign? My brother. Muslims to whom the true faith and prophets have come pray like this. Muslims ask for a protector. That is what God says. God tells people to protect the innocent. It is also God Who creates wronged people. A Muslim must protect the innocent with great fervor. 

God creates such a climate so they will pray for a savior, a Mahdi.

Adnan Oktar: Of course.

Assad’s forces have taken over the city of Homs, that was for a long time an opposition headquarters. The city of Homs is completely ruined, and not a sole is left alive in it. Yet this is being described as a victory for Assad. 

Adnan Oktar: This is Assad’s foolishness. The opposition left nothing in the city. They destroyed the buildings and took all the food. No property or infrastructure was left. There was no water or electricity left. All that was left was a terrifying city. The opposition said, ‘Here, you have it, you are welcome to it.’ Assad’s forces then rested for a few hours and went on the offensive again. There is no end to their foolishness. They are completely foolish. And they are rejoicing at having recaptured the city.

Prophets has interceded for many people

Our brother from Azerbaijan asks about intercession. Almighty God will forgive a person, but He says that in the hereafter the forgiveness of someone depends on a person He loves, that is the Prophet or the Mahdi. 'If you say it, I will forgive,’ He says. If our Prophet or the Mahdi bear witness, they will say, ‘O Lord, forgive him.’ This is created as a source of goodness. Almighty God will in any case forgive. But our Prophet has interceded. God asks the Prophet if he will bear witness, if that person is a good person. God already knows whether or not His servant is good. This is created as a beauty of paradise. There are many people left to intercession. The time of the accounting and the status of some people are revealed indirectly. Our Prophet intercedes. Or Jesus the Messiah, the Prophet Moses or the Mahdi intercede, insha’Allah.

“Our Prophet (saas) loved women as a manifestation of Allah”

Our Prophet (saas) liked women. There is no need for bigotry. They are so bigoted. It is delightful that our prophet (saas) liked women. In paradise Allah will give houris to our Prophet (saas) and to Muslims and they will delight in their houris. What is surprising about that? Why does Allah create houris. He creates them for us to delight in. Why does He create women? He creates them for us to delight in. He creates them so we can love and delight in those whom it is lawful to do so. But then there is this totally unloving mentality that crops up when women are mentioned. The meaning of loving women is to love them as manifestations of Allah. It is to admire Him. To value them. Some people have a most primitive mentality and regard them simply as objects of lust because there is no love in their hearts. No compassion and no fine feelings. All they have is lust, so that is the first thing that comes to their minds when women are mentioned. This is very wrong. They must correct that mindset.

“The meaning of delighting in women is to love them as manifestations of Allah, to value them”

When someone says that he loves a woman, or that he loves a flower, he loves a manifestation of Allah, that is his love of Allah. When one says that the Prophet (saas) liked woman, does that mean simple lust? No. What it means is that he loved them as a manifestation of Allah, he saw Allah’s name of Jamal in them. He saw Allah’s name of Latif. He saw the names Rahman and Rahim. His heart was eased. Allah says that He creates spouses as sources of comfort and ease for one another. It does not mean lust. It is the manifestation of Allah there, the peace bestowed by the mutual repetition of the name of Allah, peace and comfort. But these people are terrified by the way that our Prophet (saas) delighted in women. Yet there are trustworthy hadiths on it. Our Prophet (saas) says, “I love women,” and he says, “I have been made to love three things; prayer, the light of my eyes, lovely perfume and honest women.” Look, “...honest women.” People fail to understand the beauty of this, and that stems from their failure to understand the Qur’an and the spirit of Islam. The Sheikh’s work in this world has come to an end. His work was to preach Islam. Almighty God has told him his work is done. Come let Me take you into paradise, He said. My dear one was finding it hard in his old age. Almighty God regarded his merit of old age as sufficient. He received the merit of old age. The merit of old age is highly acceptable. His behavior in hospital was very excellent. Our Prophet (pbuh) says that the end of spiritual guides is the rank of martyr. Since our sheikh was a spiritual guide, he has ended as a martyr. That is very good for him. He used to say he would see the Mahdi. He is with the Mahdi now. Our Sheikh knew the Mahdi. He said that very explicitly. He also used to speak with Khidhir (pbuh). My dear one, he struggled with his self and has now surrendered that fine soul. May Almighty God also make us his neighbors [in paradise].

He is now talking with the Messgenger of God, with the Mahdi and with Bediuzzaman. He is both eating, and asking our teacher’s opinion, Our Sheikh was the sweetest man in the world, masha’Allah. 

May God grant our Sheikh the finest rank in paradise. My condolences to his family. To Sheikh Mehmet in particular. His spirituality will continue with him. All of Cyprus has risen to its feet for our Sheikh. He was the jewel in Cyprus’ crown. 

Our Sheikh is now a saint. He also had such an attribute before. He will come to places in spirit form. Bediuzzaman sets this out in the Treatise of Light. He speaks of 'Guides appearing in the spiritual form" God allows them to watch their friends and loved ones for a time. Our Sheikh now sees me speaking about him. 

I am delighted that our Sheikh has gone to paradise, insha’Allah. He is now very comfortable, insha’Allah. He also has the opportunity to watch us now. There are two dimensions, length and width. We can see outside in the third dimension, but we cannot see other dimensions. Imagine someone who lives in a television screen. He cannot see the outside because he is limited to that screen. But since we are in the third dimension we can see out from that screen. God bestows such a favor on spiritual. The questioning of the guides is very brief. It only happens so that they can enjoy it. You have preached, is that right? You have handed out books, is that right? This is described in the hadiths. The questioning takes place last, but the person thinks it happens first. Yet it takes place last. That is how it is with guides. This happens as a compliment, just to make them happy. 

(Viewer’s letter) "Grieving is a sin, but the death of our Sheikh has grieved me."  We must not grieve, we must rejoice because he has gone to paradise. Our sheikh struggled with his sickly body. That is very hard. He has gone to talk with the Messenger of God in a garden in paradise. I rejoice at that, my brother. He is with the Mahdi, Jesus the Messiah and all of them. 

Oktar Babuna (my brain surgeon friend) was at the front of the funeral, behind the imam. He also carried the Sheikh’s coffin. He waited beside our Sheikh for days. He spent all his time in the hospital. If I phoned at 3 at night, there he was. We were in touch with at least 100 doctors about our Sheikh’s health. The hospital was open to all advice, masha’Allah. As a precautionary measure, the nurses looking after our Sheikh never spoke with other patients. 

I envy our sheikh. What wonderful tables must be set in paradise now. Our sheikh was such a handsome man. Imagine what he is like in paradise now! He loved our Prophet. He is now at table with him. He loved the Mahdi very much. He is now at table with him. He loved all the prophets. He is at table with them now. 

He was bent over double, but still waged jihad. Even when they said, your son is here, in the hospital he would raise his hand to make them happy. Look how lovely that is. 

Kartal Göktan: Foreign Minister Davutoğlu has issued an excellent message. "May our Lord have mercy on Sheikh Nazim al-Qubrusi, who never begrudged his prayers for our struggle. My condolences to those who loved him. May God reunite them all in paradise." 

Adnan Oktar: Masha’God. You see, a real Muslim.

Adnan Oktar: what a sweet person. He was amazingly sweet. As soon as he tells them to get up, everyone stands up. Masha’God.

Adnan Oktar: I attended one of the Sheikh’s assemblies. Let me see. Yes, we are there with Mehmet Şevket Eygi Hodja. I was still at the academy then. What a sweet person. The lamb of paradise. 

Bülent: He addressed you as his big son. 

Adnan Oktar: 'My big son,’ he said. When he fell ill he said, ‘Ihave a son, I am not alone.’ I am delighted he has gone to paradise. What an honorable life he led. He was a one-off. 

Sheikh Nazim Hodja would have died long ago. But God gave him a long life because he loved Hazrat Mahdi. He granted him honor and beauty. One of his main characteristics was that he loved God, and also his intense love of Hazrat Mahdi.

Islam is one thing, and bigotry quite another. People fear bigotry. They do not fear Islam. But they think that bigotry is Islam. Bigots grow up like thorn bushes all over the place. There is a huge difference between bigotry and Islam. America and Europe are shown bigotry. Then they wonder why they are entering in among them. Bigots want to kill all Christians and Jews. Of course people will hate those who want to kill them. You hate women wearing loose clothing. Music, and people who laugh and have fun. Then they will hate you back. Bigotry is a terrible scourge, and just as great a threat as communism.

Iranian President Hasan Rouhani has announced that the WhatsApp messaging site will be banned in his country. That is another piece of bigotry. Hasan Rouhani is actually a very modern person. The bigots are making him do this. He is not a bigot. He is a modern person. The bigots are pressurizing him to do it. But there is nothing of the bigot about him.

Fanatics act on the basis of supposition and guesswork

Surat al-Furqan, "The Messenger says, ‘My Lord, my people treat this Qur’an as something to be ignored’.”

God is setting out the reason for the current scourge.

"My Lord, my people treat this Qur’an as something to be ignored.” 

We can see the price of the fanatics’ foolishness. They are unaware they have abandoned the Qur’an. They say they are serving the Qur’an. My brother, you are adding polytheism to the Qur’an. You are fabricating additions to it. How could a Companion say anything totally opposed to the Qur’an? You are fabricating new rules in violation of the Qur’an. The Prophet had an obligation to abide by the Qur’an.  'No, the hadiths have replaced this,’ you say. Then they wonder why scourges rain down on them. God says, “Then they will have no recourse except to say, "By God, our Lord, We were not idolaters.’” in one verse. They are unaware they are idolaters.

"When they are told: ‘Follow what God has sent down,’ they say, ‘No, we will follow what we found our fathers doing.’ " another verse says.

They are going by tradition. They are traditionalists. Not by the Qur’an. They passionately espouse their own ideas and ways of thinking. 'Hazrat Fatimah said that,” they say. Were you there then? How do you know? Why make Hazrat Fatimah a party to your lies? That is imputing a sin to her.

"Some of them are illiterate, knowing nothing of the Book but wishful thinking. They only speculate." says a verse.

Yes, God says they lie through speculation and guesswork. When you ask, they say they are guessing. They are lying on the basis of guesswork.

The PKK is today organized in provinces across the Southeast [of Turkey]. There are hundreds of thousands of members of the PKK in cities, towns, villages and up in the mountains. America wants Turkey to be divided and Kurdistan to be founded. We must talk to American officials about this. Let us write a wide-ranging letter on the subject to American officials. They must abandon this policy of splitting Turkey up. There were some people who decided to split Turkey up 100 years ago. Why do you think splitting Turkey up will do you any good? Why are you so certain. The division of Turkey will make a rod for their own backs. They will establish a new North Korea in the region. Then they will start worrying about protecting Israel and Armenia. The communist Stalinist state they want to establish will be one that spreads terror. We need to tell America of the scale of the threat. And we need to tell it that the public will never allow Turkey to be split up. America is constantly trying to spur the separatists into action. Some politicians are helpless in the face of that. I am not naming any names. They are leaving Tayyip Erdoğan isolated. How can Tayyip Erdoğan fight a global lobby all on his own? Politicians should be supporting him.

The public need to exhibit a wide-ranging reaction against the PKK. A very strong reaction. America must abandon its plans in the face of that reaction. If nobody speaks out, they will imagine that Turkey has been won over. The PKK is acting disgracefully every day. They are engaged in political stratagems.

We must work day and night to bring out a reaction against separation. Because America does not understand the threat posed by the PKK. They fail to grasp that it is a communist threat. They imagine that a simple Kurdish state will be established in the Southeast. Have you not already had bitter experience in Korea and Vietnam and Laos? Why are you looking for new problems and trying to inflict these on Turkey? Why do you want to inflict trouble on the whole region? Whichever genius thought up the idea of dividing Turkey, they are still obsessed with that.

Let us draw up a scientific thesis. Let us publish it and also sent it to the U.S. President, the CIA and the State Department. They must change their behavior on this subject. They must leave our nation in peace.
