I believe I am a pure follower of Mahdi (pbuh)

Adnan Oktar: I am, for instance, the student of Mahdi. I have not seen Mahdi, but I belive I am his closest student. How nice, you are also the close students of Mahdi, just like me, all of us. God willing. We will pay allegiance to him when we see him. He is ghaib (hidden from view) right now; his name is Ghaib. Mahdi is actually not called the Mahdi, but Imam Ghaib. He is in ghaibat, we do not know yet, insha’Allah. And one of his names is Ghaib, you know. One other name of him is Baqiyatullah. He covers himself with the cloth of the Kaba'a, and says, “My Lord, I am the 'Baqiyatullah' (God's remainder) representative and Proof of Allah upon You.” Mahdi’s name is given like this. For instance, he is not directly addressed as Mahdi, but Baqiyatullah. He says, “My Lord, I am the ‘Baqiyatullah’,” remnant from You as he covers himself with the cloth of the Kaba'a, insha’Allah. It is stated that he performs a two-rakat prayer: This is mentioned in the hadiths that Mahdi performs two-rakat prayers. And their meeting him is either in the morning, or in the evening.

The Kaaba and its surroundings must be the center of the Islamic conception of quality and esthetics

By Harun Yahya, MM News,
The Islamic world has recently completed the obligation of the hajj in order to earn the approval of Almighty Allah. Makkah and the surrounding area, where the hajj is performed, is a holy land where our Prophet (saas) strove on Allah’s path and where he told the local peoples of the existence and Oneness of Allah, a home to numerous sacred sites. During the hajj, Muslims from all over the world worship together and remember Allah as Muslims, no matter how different their ethnic origins, languages and cultures.
This sacred land, that allows Muslims who perform the hajj to love and respect one another by bringing them together, must also be somewhere that reflects the Islamic conception of esthetics and quality in the finest manner. However, this region which is home to Muslims and sacred sites, where the foundations of love and peace were laid, has recently begun being mentioned in terms of lost historic architecture and lack of beauty. The Kaaba built by the Prophet Abraham (pbuh) and the Prophet Ishmael (pbuh) and a witness to the lovely life of our Prophet (saas), a role model for all mankind, is losing its historical fabric amongrapidly rising skyscrapers.
Not only Muslims, but the entire world is watching in amazement as buildings that were home to leading figures of the Islamic world are torn down. Example of this include the flattening of Mount Umar, where the home of Hazrat Umar (pbuh) stands, and the construction of skyscraper hotels, the demolition of the Mosque of Bilal from the time of our Prophet (saas), the demolition of Ottoman houses with their elegant adornments and detailed window decorations and stunning wooden doors and their replacement with houses of no esthetic value at all, the construction of the Royal Makkah Clock Tower Hotel, completed in 2012, on the site of 400 graves of historical and cultural importance, a hotel being built on the site of the home of Hazrat Abu Bakr (as) and the conversion of the area where the house in which the Prophet Muhammed (saas) is thought to have been born, in Mawlid Street next to the Kaaba, into a car park.
The same underlying causes are also behind the way the Kaaba, Muslims’ most sacred site, today literally has the air of a tourist attraction and is surrounded by tall masses of concrete, hotels and workplaces:a fanatical mindset that has nothing to do with the Islam of the Qur’an and that is far removed from any conception of quality and esthetics being represented as the true Islam. That mindset sees absolutely nothing wrong in the shameless desecration of the Kaaba.Yet these sacred lands for which our Muslim brothers and forebears laid down their lives in order to protect were entrusted by our Prophet (saas) to the entire Islamic world.
Muslims must develop this area, bequeathed by our Prophet (saas), in the light of the esthetic conception of the Qur’an, and must be responsible for turning it into a glorious city, like the kingdom of Andalusia from the golden age of Islam in Europe. The skyscrapers that literally hide the Kaaba must be torn down. The surrounding buildings must be moved to at least 50 kilometers away. The area must be adorned with lovely fruit trees, flowers and greenery, and even a natural river, bestowing on it a bright and immaculate appearance. The Kaaba itself must be restored to its original appearance, when it shone like a star.
The existing picture of the Kaaba, under the current construction plans, actually emphasizes the spiritual emptiness affecting the entire Islamic world. That emptiness clearly stems from the Islamic world’s failure to be united, as Allah commands.
Let us not forget that the whole Islamic world has a responsibility to scrupulously protect these lands bequeathed by our Prophet (saas). It is perfectly natural and right for Muslims to restructure this area, sacred to Islam, and to be united on this subject in the interests of the faith. The essence of the relationship between Muslim communities is for them to act in union, as brothers, as revealed in the Qur’an. Muslims are one another’s helpers and guardians. They must therefore act in solidarity and a spirit of mutual aid on all matters.
When the Kaaba is redesigned in its original form, Muslims will be able to perform their religious obligations in peace and will show the whole world the Islamic world’s conception of quality and beauty

Important comments by Mr. Adnan Oktar regarding ISIS's desire to destroy Kaaba
Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Live Conversation on A9TV dated July 1st, 2014

BULENT SEZGIN: Master, ISIS has resolved to  take Arur city in Saudi Arabia and to destroy the Kaaba. They made a statement saying, "If God wills, under the leadership of our sheikh Al-Bagdadi, we will kill those who worship stones in Mecca- the pilgrims- and destroy the Kaaba, people go to worship stones, not God."

ADNAN OKTAR: They are out to destroy the Kaaba?

BULENT SEZGIN: Yes

ADNAN OKTAR: The destruction of the  Kaaba is a portent of the Last Day. But it is really astonishing that they are acting this way. Do they really believe that they are strong enough to do that?  With which logic are they thinking like that, I wonder?

BULENT SEZGIN: They see it as worshiping idols.

ADNAN OKTAR:  But the Kaaba was there in the time of our Prophet (saas) as well. It was there at the time of the Prophet Abraham (pbuh). It was a stone building. There is no logic in destroying that building; it has nothing that could be ascribed to religion. If there is something at fault, you educate him. Right? How could anything be done by burning and destroying? It can only be done through education. You can think as ever you like, they would then go and worship the land it is built on. If they are going to worship they would go and eat the soil, put it on their faces and worship it anyway. That will only be solved with education. The education ISIS gives is at gunpoint. If a man doesn't obey their words, they shoot him in the head, if he listens to them it is okay. Religion cannot be preached like that. Religion cannot be communicated like that. There is no such command in the Qur'an. God says; "There is no compulsion in religion." (Surah Al-Baqarah; 256). Religion can only be preached by educating people. In the Qur'an God, makes statements against ascribing partners to God. He commands us to "...avoid ascribing partners to Him" but God also says in the verses that there will nevertheless be idolaters. And He says, "I will punish them."  But other than that, I seek refuge with God from the satan, God says, "… Convey them to a place where they are safe. Protect their safety, do not let any harm come to them even if you are harmed." God says, "...do not put them in harm's way. Protect them at the risk of your life." And what are you saying? You say; "I will destroy the Kaaba, I will kill the pilgrims." That is not compliant with the Qur'an. Even if they are idolaters, you cannot do that!

BÜLENT SEZGİN: Master, our Prophet (saas) destroyed the idols inside, but preserved the building, insha'Allah.

ADNAN OKTAR: Of course. For instance, back then people were worshiping idols as well. They are attempting to solve things that could only be solved through education by intimidating people at gunpoint.  What does ISIS say? "We will destroy the Kaaba" My brother, how is this reason? What does destroying the Kaaba mean? It is something that would inflict a deep wound in the hearts of Muslims, it is something that would agitate Muslims. The Prophet Abraham (pbuh) built the Kaaba personally with his bare hands. If you are against idol worship, solve that with education, explain things to them, talk to them. You are holding everyone at gunpoint. Guns took the place of pens (for them). They ask something to a man and then they shoot him (if they don't like the response!) Ask them something else, then they shoot him in the head! What kind of a conception of Islam is that? In many verses (of the Qur'an) Almighty God says, "You are not a dictator over them. You are only responsible for clearly conveying the message."  They can accept it if they like or not, what is it to you?

It has been stated in the hadiths that there is a treasure underneath the Kaaba

It has been stated in the hadiths that there is a treasure underneath the Kaaba

It has been stated in the hadiths that there is a treasure underneath the Kaaba

Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Live Conversation on A9TV dated November 15th, 2013

Adnan Oktar: Our Prophet (saas) says that there is a treasure hidden underneath the Kaaba. That is something not known at all, who knows what will be discovered there. In the time of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh), a search will be conducted underneath the Kaaba. We will find remains dating ten thousand, fifteen thousand, twenty thousand years back. We will find remains from those periods. We will see that even in those periods people believed in God and that there was belief in one God.  These will be very important proofs. Our Prophet (saas) also foretells that Istanbul will be in the hands of Muslims, it is amazing that has infallibly been the case. In fact, just to prove this hadith wrong, they could have pressed and taken over Istanbul.  But this is how it is in the destiny. It has to be in the hands of Muslims. Now, in the upcoming days another comet will appear. A very big, important comet will appear and that will also be a remarkable portent insha'Allah.
