The hadith referring to the Jordanian pilot burnt to death by ISIS is a sign of Hazrat Mahdi (as)’s appearance

ADNAN OKTAR:

ISIS crashed down a Jordanian warplane on 24th December 2014. Do you recall that? The Jordanian pilot Muath Youssef al-Kasasbeh was taken as hostage. And on 3rd February 2015 that pilot was executed by being burnt to death. Upon this incident, the Jordanian King Abdullah broke short his visit to America and decided to go back to Jordan.

This young man who was burnt is a member of the al-Kasasbeh family which is one of the prominent families in Jordan of the Bararsheh tribe. The father of Muath al-Kasasbeh is a professor and his uncle was a Major General in the Royal Jordanian Army. Therefore, the capturing of this young pilot shook entire Jordan as it was a very significant happening in the Jordanian army.

And as you know, how the young was burnt to death was video recorded by ISIS.

Our Prophet (pbuh) gave all the details of this occurrence and this is given in Bihar al-Anwar, volume 51, page 116.

(Another sign of Mahdi (as)’s appearance is) “A man of important rank of the supporters of the Abbasides,” these are the Hashemites, the Arab army, the Abbasides. And a young man from that lineage, of important rank, “will be burnt between Jalula and Khaniqin.” See that at the time of Mahdi (as), a young man from this army is burnt to death and God discloses this in great detail. Since, they found that to be a very eminent happening. The reason is that they do not burn people in general, but either slaughter or shoot them.

Yes, you know that they burnt him in a cage. From the Abbasides, the army of the Arabs, this is a man of important rank and he is burnt between Jalula and Khaniqin. Our Prophet (pbuh) even spells out the location and states that he will be burnt to death. This reference is 1200 year dated, and the event is narrated in volume 51, page 116. The Messenger of God (pbuh) has put into words the map of all occurrences.

The risings of Sufyani and Khurasani

Al-Qaidah and ISIS are portents of the appearance of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh)

96- Ghaibat Nomani: It is narrated from Ibne Uqdah from Ahmad bin Yusuf from Ibne Mahran from Ibne Bataini from his father from Wuhaib from Abu Basir from Imam Muhammad Baqir (a.s.) that he said: “The risings of Sufyani and Khurasani will be in the same period. They will be like the beads of a rosary; one following the other. Sufferings will be from every side. Miserable will be whoever resists them… The loss of the rule of the family of so-and-so will be like the breaking of pottery or like a man, who has a piece of pottery in his hand while he is walking. It falls from his hand while he is inattentive, but immediately he becomes attentive to find that it is broken. So is the loss of their rule. They will be so inattentive when their state will be lost.

Pakistan in the Taliban – Al Qaeda – ISIL Triangle

http://www.harunyahya.com/en/Articles/203200/Pakistan-in-the-Taliban-%E2%80%93-Al-Qaeda-%E2%80%93-ISIL-Triangle

The US administration regarded Afghanistan’s coming under Soviet rule following the Soviet invasion in 1979 as against its own global interests, and began supporting and arming radical groups resisting the occupation. It accomplished this task to a large extent via the military and intelligence agencies of neighboring Pakistan.

The Growth of Radical Terror Following the Soviet Invasion

That tactic enjoyed considerable success in the fight against the occupation. Having suffered severe losses by the late 1980s, the Soviets eventually withdrew from Afghanistan. On the other hand, however, the seeds were sown for the radical terror groups that would come to represent a major problem for both Pakistan and Afghanistan and for much of the Islamic world.

The foundations for the climate of insecurity, instability, terror and turmoil that still persists today in the region were laid at that time. Moreover, it led to radical terrorism making its way into such parts of the Islamic world as Iraq, Syria, Libya and Yemen in a developed and strengthened form.

It is this intensive military and logistical support over many years for radical groups both during and after the Soviet occupation that lies behind the appearance of al-Qaeda, the Taliban and the latest incarnation, ISIL, in an organized and well-equipped manner with considerable numbers of supporters. It is also due to that backing that certain areas on Pakistan’s border with Afghanistan are today under the influence of radical groups which are difficult to combat with military means.

This border area, which consists of seven administrative regions in northwest Pakistan, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and North and South Waziristan, covers an area of some 30,000 square kilometers. Various radical groups, such as the Pakistan Taliban, al-Qaeda and the Haqqani Network are based – and active – in the region.

It is because of this historical framework that Pakistan has overtaken countries such as Iran, Iraq and Syria and come to the top of Western countries’ terror lists. People who live a radical mindset generally pass through Pakistan, despite not being Pakistani themselves.

Pakistan Is One of the Main Victims of Radical Terror

It is of course Pakistan and the Pakistani people who are paying the greatest price for these radical organizations growing within the country. Bomb attacks targeting civilians and approaching shocking levels of  barbarism in recent months have once again revealed the threat posed by radicalism to the Islamic world and the world in general.

More than 150 people, 134 of them children, died in an attack on a military high school in Peshawar last December. More than 60 civilians lost their lives in an attack on a Shiite mosque in the town of Shikarpur on 30 January.

Six people died recently in a suicide bombing near the Lahore security department.

Another attack on a Shiite mosque in Peshawar during the Friday prayers resulted in the deaths of 20 people and in more than 50 being injured.

Bearing in mind that one wing of the Pakistan Taliban, which claimed responsibility for the majority of the attacks, recently swore allegiance to ISIL, one may conclude that radical activities in Pakistan will reach critical dimensions in the days ahead. ISIL is looking to open new fronts in Central and South Asia following the instability in the Middle East, and is particularly interested in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

An Intellectual Campaign against Radicalism is the Only Solution for Pakistan

Although a series of military operations initiated in the northern areas of the country last June and continuing this year are portrayed as a success against terror, it has still proved impossible to completely prevent the recent acts of savagery listed above: On the contrary, as a result of these operations, terrorists are reported to have mingled with refugees and infiltrated major cities such as Karachi and Lahore and are believed to be preparing even more barbaric suicide attacks.

Indeed, at least 14 people were killed and more than 70 injured in suicide attacks on two churches in Lahore on March 15 for which the Pakistani branch of the Taliban claimed responsibility. Violence leads to nothing more than further violence and to rising rage, hatred and feelings of revenge.

Since radical terror is cunningly supposedly perpetrated in the name of Islam and uses methods of indoctrination and propaganda aimed at winning Muslims over to its perverse way of thinking, it has a powerful capacity to influence the ignorant people who make up a large part of society. The result is not terrorists numbering in the hundreds or thousands, but a mass of supporters numbering in the millions.

Apart from a few secret service agents and the occasional provocateur, the great majority of this mass of people are misled into following the perversions of radicalism, genuinely thinking it to be Islam, and thereby becoming the pawns of terror organizations. It is obviously impossible to stop this mass of people with guns or military operations, and that these will merely encourage feelings of vengeance and increase the number of supporters many times over. In addition, killing ignorant but sincere people who have been deceived and misled through military operations rather than educating them and raising their awareness is little more than murder.

The only solution, therefore, is to tell the masses of the vast gulf between radicalism and the true Islam described in the Qur’an by means of a rational and scientific education campaign. It is essential to reveal that the nonsense and fabricated accounts that incite terror, violence, bloodshed, lovelessness and hatred are the diametric opposite of the verses of the Qur’an, which teach love, affection, peace and justice, and for radicalism to be eradicated through education. Only in this way can ‘bigotry,’ the lifeblood of radical terror be eradicated, and the threat of radicalism be comprehensively brought to an end.

Adnan Oktar’s statement about Jordanian pilot’s execution

Adnan Oktar’s statement about Jordanian pilot’s execution

Factories in Jordan are producing hellfire missiles and using them on Muslims

- A relative of the Jordanian pilot issued a statement. He said that the killing of the pilot took place in a planned manner and that the images were equally good as Hollywood films. He added that the execution exceeded the organization’s means and there were obviously other groups involved. He said that the aim of the organization is to ‘blacken Islam’ (surely Islam is beyond that).

Adnan Oktar: IS thinks it is serving Islam. The king of Jordan also thinks he is serving Islam by hanging members of ISIL. One kills by hanging and says, ‘I killed better.’ The other kills by burning and says, ‘I killed better.’ There is a contest of barbarity. There is nothing to be proud of in that. This scourge can only come to an end with the Mahdi. The Islamic scholars who pretend not to realize that will do so in the end.

- King Abdullah of Jordan said, ‘The killing of our pilot was a vile terrorist action by a perverse group that has nothing to do with Islam.’ U.S. President Obama said, ‘If true, this incident is a sign of the vile nature and barbarity of the organization. King Abdullah of Jordan is also going to fly his own plane tomorrow and bomb targets with an F-16 warplane.

Adnan Oktar: They will shoot his plane down and capture him, too. Terrible things are happening. The king of Jordan is flying off to bomb Muslims. They do not choose forgiveness, love and compassion. They say, ‘You burned by soldier, so I will bomb you.’ The king is planning to burn the people there to death. He will drop napalm or general purpose bombs on them. All the women and children in the place he bombs will die and be martyred. They regard that as heroic. The bomb does not differentiate. Cities are generally home to women and children. IS is not in the cities. Why should they wait for them in the towns? They are spread out in open territory.

Had there been anything of use to IS in Kobane they would have moved heaven and earth to get it. They would have carried everything off. All there is in Kobane now of concrete and stone. That is why they are not coming any more. Had there been things of use to them there like cars, or especially weapons, they would immediately come back for them. The PKK are trembling like dogs in the ruins there. They say they will turn those ruins into a museum.

They are rejoicing because Jordan hanged a 44-year-old woman. The king of Jordan is saying he will now personally go and bomb women and children. They congratulate him because he will commit murder. Look at the scale of the horror! See what a wretched position Muslims are in. We think the king is a rational person. But he has entirely taken leave of his senses.

Shiite militias in Iraq frequently burn Sunnis. They do not regard those deaths as important. They burn houses down with Muslims still in them. The other side then responds in like manner. They love all this slaughter. See, both sides are Muslims and say, ‘La ilaha illa Allah, Muhammad an Rasulullah. [There is no god but God, Muhammad is the Messenger of God]’ They are both radiant Muslims. What do you do? Pull yourselves together. What kind of conception of compassion and love is that?

Shiite mullahs [clergy] came here. They are very devout people. They know the Qur’an off by heart. Most have memorized it. They are all people of the kiblah and love the Prophet. How can you seek to kill such people? That is terrible evil, a terrible sin. The punishment is a lifetime in hell.

- IS tried to justify the killing of the Jordanian pilot by saying, ‘This is how we will punish those who rain bombs down on our towns.’

Adnan Oktar: That pilot may have caused the martyrdom of thousands of people. They send napalm bombs down from the air and burn thousands of people, children included. They load napalm bombs onto their jets, and they turn an area of at least 50-60 meters into hell on earth. The heat exceeds 3000 degrees and even melts metal. Now if anyone regards the burning of Muslims as sensible that is also oppression. The pilots are burning women and children to death with napalm. That is oppression. Then IS go and burn that pilot. That is also persecution. The Muslim world is being ruined. Both sides are wronging one another.

May Almighty God speed up the coming of the Mahdi. May He produce the Mahdi. The Mahdi will appear when God tells him to. He can not appear if Almighty God does not tell him to do so. Of course, not in the manner we know. Almighty God will inspire the identity of the Mahdi in Muslims. And Muslims will then produce him.

-Teacher, will the people who call for the Mahdi be scholars? They may be politicians, or scholars, or anyone. Anyone who finds no other solution.

Adnan Oktar: Anyone who is wise. Anyone who is pained by the situation of Muslims. Everyone who cannot find salvation. Because we are told by our Prophet that all paths and systems and people will be tried first [without success]. He says that all political leaders and ideas will be tried, but that they will all be seen to fail, and people will realize there is no other salvation than the Mahdi.

They are burning Muslims with missiles called ‘Hellfire missiles.’ These missiles are being used in attacks by Jordan. Hellfire – they turn wherever they hit into a hell on earth. They martyr Muslims by burning them to death. IS then says, ‘If you burn children and women, then we will burn you.’ Both sides are burning one another all the time. And unbelievers sit back and applaud. The Mahdi is the only salvation for the Islamic world.

- IS militants put TVs and projectors out on the streets in Raqqa yesterday evening. They showed the people images of people bombed and burned to death by warplanes and of the burning to death of that Jordanian pilot.

Adnan Oktar: Those missiles are called ‘Hellfire.’ They fire napalm bombs. They make it from nitroglycerine. They mix that with other substances. The temperature reaches up to 3000 degrees. It makes a hell on earth. Children’s bodies are made unrecognizable. Factories in Jordan keep producing these weapons and using them. The king of Jordan is now saying, ‘I will now bomb and burn Muslims.’ You should be a rational person. You have been declared king. So you should come to your senses. What good is killing and burning? You must treat people with love, affection, friendship, brotherhood and compassion. You should stand up against Darwinism and approach people with the miracles of the Qur’an and the signs leading to faith. You also live in the Holy Land, where the Prophet Moses lived. The tomb of Moses is in Jordan. He wandered those mountains. His footprints are there. What are you playing at? Pull yourself together! Come to your senses! He says they have burned people, so he is going to burn also. Both sides are giving one another hellfire. Stop it! Embrace one another and be friends. Renounce this enmity. They all say, ‘La ilaha illa Allah, Muhammed an Rasulullah [There is no god but God, Muhammad is the Messenger of God]’ This is all terrible corruption.

Let us show a picture of a Hellfire missile.

- King Abdullah of Jordan issued a statement about IS: ‘This terrorist organization is not only fighting us. It is fighting Islam and its tolerant values. We are waging this war to protect our faith, values and human principles. The war we wage will therefore be ruthless. We will be on our guard against the guilty. We will strike them in their own homes.’

Adnan Oktar: Let me tell the king of Jordan now that IS will defeat him. IS may also enter Jordan and devastate it. The king must pull himself together. He must not be a bully. He is easy to defeat. He should resolve the matter through peace, negotiation and love. That is my advice to him. Those words look like someone’s last words. He must come to his senses. Waging war against IS and Muslims does not bestow superiority. If people are ignorant and on the wrong path, you can educate them. You cannot resolve problems through bloodshed. Blood cannot wipe away blood. Both sides are hurting the other. The king of Jordan has sent his pilots and made them burn Muslims alive. You have burned thousands of young people, women and children with napalm at 3000 degrees. Then they went and burned that pilot in a cage. Then the king says, ‘I will go and kill them myself.’ He has become crazed by anger. You must be on the side of love, compassion, peace and friendship. Resolve the relations between you. If you want to put them right, do so with knowledge and virtue. By talking. Not by fighting.

The Jordanian foreign minister announced they will send land forces against IS. They will kill them all. This is foolishness. It is a sin for Muslim to kill Muslim. If people are mistaken, you warn them. We are told to command what is good and eschew what is bad. Going there and killing people is no good.

What is the difference between Islam as advocated by ISIS and the Islam we preach?

Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Live Conversation on A9TV dated dated February 05th, 2015
There is the kind of Islam advocated by ISIS and the Islam as we preach it. All the world embraces the Islam that we preach but the world responds to the Islam preached by ISIS via airstrikes. This is not the kind of Islam that people can live by but the Islam as we preach will save the world. There is love, there is peace, there is brotherhood, there is goodness, beauty, arts, aesthetics. Women are made as pearls in men’s crowns, women are free, kids are free, young boys are free, there is joy everywhere. But in the traditionalist, ultra-orthodox conception of Islam, everything is grave, everywhere is a place of torment, having just enough to keep body and soul together, it is the other name of devastation; [According to this mindset] everyday one needs to go to suffering, through afflictions, in many cases filth is everywhere. Pain and agony have infiltrated all the grounds. Laughter is banned, being joyful is banned. Painting, music, TV, everything beautiful that comes to your mind are all banned. Hatred, rage, fury are free, beheading, butchering, cutting off a man’s head and showing it around are considered as 'normal'. Blood is everywhere; there is starvation, misery, cries everywhere. Hunger, misery, obnoxious, unaesthetic scenes, corruption; these are the horrible things peculiar to a great majority of traditionalist, ultra-orthodox Islam.
They present Islam as a religion of the grave. It is like the religion of terror. Once you are a Muslim, they think he will hang, beat, execute others and do nothing else. It is almost the hell of women. Women are devastated in the ultra-orthodox conception of Islam. They can neither sit, nor stand up, nor wear anything they want. Even eating is an offense. They say that if they make women eat too much, they will become depraved, they will be  trouble. If you make them put on beautiful clothes, they will go astray and attempt to go out. You should make them put on bad clothes so that they would feel embarrassed and not go out. If a window is looking out onto the street, then it must be covered with bricks. They say that is what the Companions of our Prophet (saas) did. Notice that they also include the Companions in this lie; [According to them] the Companions saw their ladies looking onto the street through the window. Notice that they also defame the Companions of our Prophet (saas), the ladies of that time, may God forbid, as if they were looking for men and the Companions prevented it. They also insult them. And these guys believe in it as a provision of God. Now they put people into cages and burn them. And they say this is based on the practice of Hazrat Ali, a hadith: That is what comes to their minds when Islam is mentioned. Chopping people up, beheading, beating people until blood is shed, reviling, yelling, an absence of arts, aesthetics, dreadfulness, threat, scourges, corruption, all forms of outrageous acts. These things come to mind. Indeed, on a wide basis this is the structure we see.
HOST: On the NewsRescue website, there appeared the report about the English advertisements of your book “Bigotry” on London buses.
ADNAN OKTAR: That is fine. We are the only community who carries out such a reasonable work against bigotry. Many thanks to God. There are some who do, but they come up with  very perverted beliefs. They allege they advocate the Qur'an but what they preach is very deviant. This is unacceptable. They need to be loyal to the Qur'an; they should neither add nor delete anything. They need to convey whatever God says in the Qur'an.

The name of the new danger in the Middle East : ISIL

OUR PROPHET (SAAS) FORETOLD THAT IN THE MIDDLE EAST A SEDITION (FITNAH) THAT WOULD THREATEN MUSLIMS’ LIVES AND POSSESSIONS WOULD APPEAR
Both the blood and possessions of (Muslims) will be considered lawful as (loot).
It will shake the world like the waves in the sea.
No one will find any refuge.
(This sedition) will arise from Shaam and spread all over Iraq...

...If they stop the problem in one region, it will appear from another place.

(Nuaym b. Hammad)
Both the blood and possessions of (Muslims) will be considered lawful as (loot).…
Today in Syria and Iraq, ISIS murders Muslims of various Islamic schools and seizes their possessions. These incidents show that what our Prophet (saas) foretold 1,400 years ago come to pass exactly as  he foretold. ISIS  carries out its activities in Syria and Iraq and massacres  innocent people in the region because they are not Sunnis and ruthlessly seizes their possessions and houses.
God makes it unlawful to kill or seize people’s possessions.
2
It will shake the world like the waves in the sea.
No one will find any refuge.
In our day, the people of Syria and Iraq are experiencing this fear expressed in the hadith of  our Prophet (saas). Due to the terror spread by ISIS, these people are forced to leave their homes and even their homelands.
3
(This sedition) will arise from Shaam and spread all over Iraq...
This sedition will arise from Shaam...
and spread all over Iraq...
(TV speech) “The threat of ISIS in Iraq grows every other day. While the militants of ISIS proceed towards  Baghdad in the south, the Iraqi army tries to resist with the new volunteers it recruits. Due to ISIS’ attacks, hundreds of thousands of people flee to safe zones. The UN is concerned about the escalation of this humanitarian crisis...”
In his hadith, our Prophet (saas) speaks of a serious sedition that would start in Syria in the End Times and spread all the way to Iraq. Today ISIS is spreading terror in Syria and Iraq with practises that  have no place in Islam. Iraq has been divided into three parts and a great part of her lands has been seized by ISIS.
4
...If they stop the  problem in one region, it will appear from another place.
ISIS’ bloody progression into Iraq takes place before the eyes of the world. The countries of the world can not stop this progression; the organisation takes every city it enters under its control in the political and economic sense. Today the world watches these incidents foretold by our Prophet (saas) 1,400 years ago.
However a great majority of the Islamic scholars try to put Muslims to sleep with the lie that the portents of the End Times have not come into existence yet.
They distract the attention of Muslims saying that there is allegedly hundreds of years until the appearance of Prophet Jesus (as) and Hazrat Mahdi (as), that Muslims can live at ease and they can worship wherever they wish, that they have a respectful place in the society.
Now we ask the following to the Islamic scholars who come up with these allegations:
· That all these incidents our Prophet (saas) foretold to be occurring at the time of Hazrat Mahdi (as) are occurring right now before your eyes does not impress you?
· In order to say, “These facts are the portents of the appearance of Hazrat Mahdi (as)”, how many more innocent people’s blood must be shed?

Charlie Hebdo

Mr. Adnan Oktar’s comments about the attack on the office of French magazine Charlie Hebdo

- An armed attack has taken place in Paris on the office of a magazine that published a cartoon of a person under the name of the Prophet Muhammed (saas).
- This afternoon. Twelve people have died, two of them police officers.
- The magazine is a leftist one. It attracted strong criticism from all over the Islamic world for publishing cartoons mocking Islam in 2006 and 2011. However, they also targeted Christianity and Judaism, not just Islam. The editor-in-chief of the magazine, known for its communist leanings, said that all faiths were open to mockery and that this was not against the law. They issued statements along the line of; "Religious people need not read us. I am an atheist. I also hear things I do not wish to when I go to a mosque or a church." That person, who had received threats from al-Qaeda for some time, was one of those who died.
Adnan Oktar: One cannot get anywhere by killing. But you can by criticism and warnings. You can criticize and hold meetings. You can explain that what they are doing is disrespectful and unkind. You can explain that what they are doing has nothing to do with freedom of ideas, and is simply a system that distresses people. In that way you can gather support in society, and they will also be influenced. But going there and killing people with Kalashnikovs is very wrong.
- The French police have announced that the attackers shouted, “We have taken revenge for the Prophet.” One person who hid from the attackers and escaped said that they spoke perfect French and that they said they were acting in revenge for al-Qaeda.
Adnan Oktar: That would be meaningful if there were such a concept as ‘revenge’ in Islam. Their actions are incompatible with Islam. They should approach people with love and affection. You can go and tell people how offended Muslims are. You can say; "I would be equally pained if a communist were treated in that way. But we can have a discussion of ideas. And there may be people who disagree.” You can have religious debates. Nobody will mind that. But insults and defamation are senseless. One can explain how ugly their actions are.
The magazine’s editor-in-chief referred to legal proceedings brought by Muslims against them by saying, “Nothing will come of that, because Islam is illegal.”
That person was speaking unnecessarily and rudely. He wanted to give Muslims the impression that they are helpless, that “Whatever you do, the law does not work for you.”
But killing them is no good at all. That is not a path compatible with Islam and the Qur’an.
- In the latest issue of the magazine, it carried a very unpleasant cartoon under the names of Jesus and Mary. The presentation was highly defamatory. French President Hollande issued a statement saying that such drawings should be considered within the framework of freedom of thought and that the attack on the journal was a violation of freedom of thought.
Adnan Oktar: Of course, there is something wrong there. Hollande says it is a violation of freedom of thought. But is it compatible with love and respect? They need to ask that first. No, it is not. Freedom of thought is not all that matters. Love and respect and manners are also important. Freedom of thought does not mean insulting everyone, hurting and offending everyone, or trying to suppress people’s love and joy. They should make love the important thing. Freedom of ideas is sacred, but love is even more sacred. Kindness is even more sacred. Respect is even more sacred. But going and mowing people down is also no good, of course. If the law does not help, you can go and protest.
People need to turn to the Qur’an. And you need the system of the Mahdi for people to turn to the Qur’an. It will be very hard to turn to the Qur’an without the system of the Mahdi. Had it been easy, it would already have happened. But hundreds of years have gone by.
Had the families of the people who drew these cartoons been insulted, someone would have been punished under French law. They would have issued a writ at once. Of course defamation is wrong, but if it had happened they would have sued and won. But French law says nothing about Islam. There are laws preventing the defamation of Judaism and Christianity. Proceedings can be brought. But there is nothing about Islam.
Lovelessness is everywhere. The magazine is also founded on hatred and rejects love. It is all hatred. They know no love. Had they known love they would have had a perfect state of mind and their language would have been immaculate.
Look, 83 people were killed in bombings today in Iraq. Martyred. Another 38 people were bombed and martyred in Yemen, and 18 in Afghanistan. But there were no reports of those anywhere. Yet the events in France brought the whole world to its feet. No value is attached to Muslims. Our Prophet says in the hadiths that this is how it will be. 'Muslims will not be valued in the End Times,’ he says. He sets it all out in detail. 'The faith will flourish again with the return of Muhammed the Mahdi,’ he says. ‘Muslims will enjoy their former prestige. Muslims will be valued,’ he says. We are entering that age. But I said that great things would happen as we entered 2015. Look, tragedies have started right at the beginning of the year. This will continue until the coming of the Mahdi.

The USA must lead the way to peace and brotherhood

From initially talking of bringing “democracy” to the region, the USA - which has been fighting radical Islamist organizations ever since the 9/11 attacks - is now talking about “eradicating” ISIS. It is of course impossible to ignore the contribution that America has made to the building of peace in various parts of the world, such as Kosovo. The sensitivity it displays on the subject of supplying humanitarian aid to almost everywhere in the world, despite its own economic problems, is also praiseworthy. There is also no doubt that democracy needs to come to Islamic lands and that the violence of ISIS needs to cease to exist for the sake of world peace. The important thing, however, is how this is to be done.
One concrete fact stands after 13 years of military operations, from Afghanistan to Libya and from Nigeria to Iraq, radical terrorist groups have not ceased to exist through military force, violence and oppression, on the contrary, they grow even stronger.
Statistics reveal that the USA has spent some $7 trillion in Afghanistan and Iraq. Again according to the figures, $10 million of US taxpayers’ money goes to the fight against terror every hour. The lives that have been lost are, of course, beyond any material measurement.
That picture can be changed, however. This is what needs to be done:
1. All kinds of military operation, including air strikes, just further anti-Americanism. Such strikes lead to civilian deaths, damage cities and destroy infrastructure, causing increasing fury in the countries concerned and that fury mostly benefits radical organizations. Spending billions of dollars on producing people opposing it, and thus providing human resources for terror organizations, is a most undesirable state of affairs for the USA.
2. Although killing off the leaders of terror organizations is presented as an effective technique by some military analysts, looked at from a wider perspective, no results are actually obtained from it at all. In the most recent incident, 25 people lost their lives in a suicide attack on a UN convoy in the immediate wake of the killing of the leader of al-Shabaab. Violence grows in proportion to the scale of the destruction, resulting in a vicious circle of violence.
3. In order to break the spiral of terror, it is essential to see the factors affecting people in the region and to assess them accurately. The most influential of these factors is without doubt Islam.
4. President Obama’s emphasizing that ISIS is not representative of Islam is a most valuable and important step: However, the ideology that ISIS does represent needs to be accurately identified. Indeed, ISIS does not represent Islam and Muslims, but unfortunately many of the values it espouses are based on interpretations found in basic Islamic works. Careful examination of the basic works of Sunni Islamic culture such as those of Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Dawud and Tirmidhi shows that they do refer to primitive and barbaric modes of punishment such as “striking on the neck and stoning,” even though these are not in the Qur’an. First and foremost, these remarks must be removed from Islamic sources and there must be a return to the essence of the faith, to the Qur’an in other words. The whole Islamic world must be told, in detail, that there is no violence in the Qur’an and that such interpretations are incompatible with the Qur’an.
5. If we want a spirit based on love, compassion, understanding and affection to prevail across the Islamic world, the way to bring this about is a return to the moral values of the Qur’an, which have been ignored for centuries. Through such concepts as, “You have your faith and I have my faith” and “There is no compulsion in the faith,” Islam laid the foundations of secularism and democracy 14 centuries ago. Once people live by the Qur’an, nobody can be accused of heresy for belonging to a different sect, nobody will be killed for being a Christian or Jew, no criminals will be crucified and nobody will be enslaved because of a different ethnic origin. When people abide by the Qur’an, everyone, be they Christian, Jew, Muslim or atheist will live as first-class citizens, democracy will function properly and universal law will ensure the provision of justice.
6. Therefore, what needs to be done is to expose, with evidence from the Qur’an, the invalidity of the information that ISIS and other radical terror groups use as supposed evidence and that appears in various Islamic sources. Thousands of young Europeans and Americans who have joined ISIS can be won back through education and by revealing the truth instead of error, not by killing tens of thousands of people in the Middle East and raining bombs down on them.
7. As a superpower, the USA also has a powerful military. It has great expertise in the strategy of war and invasion. Yet what would really become the USA is to build and develop civilization and to contribute to progress. The way to do that is through educational and cultural activities. Correct education with accurate ideas needs to be implemented; teaching the true Islam based on the Qur’an, rather than the classic, orthodox conception of Islam, can make people who currently favor violence espouse peace, love and brotherhood instead. This would be far more economical than spending trillions of dollars on weaponry and later spending billions more on humanitarian aid, and is a method that will produce guaranteed results.
8. Some circles in the USA are wary of supporting the teaching of the Islam of the Qur’an. One of the reasons for that caution is the false idea that “It is wrong for America to teach Muslims about Islam.” The USA should certainly not impose any particular idea or insist upon any particular opinion on Muslims. What the USA needs to do is to support cultural activities intended to teach and spread the Islam of the Qur’an.
9. It would be a very good idea for Muslim countries to be included in the coalition to be set up against ISIS. However, it must not be forgotten that a harsh and radical concept of Islam, similar to that of ISIS, also prevails in many of the countries in that coalition. Beheadings as capital punishment are carried out in those countries, women are treated as second-class citizens and freedom of thought and expression is routinely trampled underfoot. It is therefore impossible for the mindset that imposes a ruthless lifestyle on its own peoples to fight against ISIS in Iraq and Syria or to provide the peoples of other regions with the peace they long for. Surely there are reasonable, rational and modern leaders in Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries. However, most of the time these people are forced to give in to the demands of the fundamentalists living in those countries. For this reason, it is paramount that these leaders are supported and made stronger. If the USA is to forge an alliance it must be with Muslims of the Qur’an, and it must develop common strategies with them.
10. What the Middle East, with its hundreds of sects, beliefs and ethnicities, needs is not new micro-states in perpetual conflict with one another, but a union such as the European Union and a spirit of alliance.
11. An Islamic world capable of acting as one in industry, economy, defense and most importantly of all in cultural activities will lighten the burden on the USA. It will be able to resolve its own problems, guarantee its own energy resources and prepare the ground for the ending of conflicts and regeneration.
Implementation of the solutions summarized in this film is essential, not just for the Middle East, but for world peace. Instead of resorting to a new military operation that will doubtlessly last for years and produce no results, the rational thing is to turn to these proposals, which have never been tried before but that would indeed produce the desired results. Unless the foundations of terror are eradicated through educational and cultural activities - unless the swamp is dried up in other words - there is no point in simply swatting at mosquitoes.
Our common prayer is to achieve a world in which there is no terror and violence, in which all people are valued, no matter what their religious beliefs, language or race, a world of joy and happiness. We hope that the USA will be instrumental in making that common prayer a reality and leading the way to peace and brotherhood.

America should fight ISIS with books and ideas

Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's Live Conversation on A9TV dated October 24th, 2014
- You have been describing the need for a struggle of ideas for 20 years.
Adnan Oktar: Using ideas alone. Our American friends ask, what they should throw them, what they are expected to do. Should we throw flowers at them? No, they don’t need flowers. Throw books, they need information. They never think of providing them with information. They always say an intellectual campaign against fanaticism is essential, but they never do it. They regard a campaign of ideas as essential, but they keep on dropping bombs. Stop the bombing and educate people through radio, TV and newspapers. Drop pamphlets from airplanes. Enlighten and inform people. If only America would do that just once! If you cannot do it, there are people who can. Let us work together. Let us do it with science and love.
The PKK can also be brought to heel through ideas. There is no need to bomb them either. You can drop pamphlets for them, as well. You can teach them by radio and TV and win them over.
The fight against ISIS can take the same form. ISIS has its system of ideas. Why go and bomb them? You should tell them your ideas instead of theirs. You can win people over. For example, I am opposed to ISIS. I say that they are killing and murdering, that they ascribe equals to God and that they are sinning. Yet they still use very respectful language toward me. They say, ‘Everyone must respect Adnan Oktar’ on their web sites. I explicitly say that they murder people. Yet they still use respectful language about me. Because they know I am sincere. ISIS understands what I am saying but America does not. That amazes me. Either they are ignoring it, or they do not know.
You cannot fight people by bombing mountains and rocks. They are always dropping bombs. Fight them with the pen. If you drop a bomb it may land on a shepherd or someone else. It is still no good even if you do hit a PKK terrorist. PKK members are put on trial in Turkey and get life imprisonment at most. That is if they have committed murder. If not, we let them go. If they have not committed any crime when they appear before the prosecutor, then they are released. But they are killing people with their bombardments. That is incompatible with the Qur’an. We condemn the wicked deeds of ISIS, the acts of terror of the PKK and the massacres perpetrated by America. We want no bloodshed.
- You have written books against the PKK that demolish Darwinism. And you have written a book about fanaticism against ISIS.
Adnan Oktar: My book ‘Bigotry: The Dark Danger’ offers a complete solution to ISIS. America can take this book and use it as it wished. I will turn over all the rights to them. They can use it as they wish. Nobody can have any objection to my book. I clearly show the error of those hadiths. I explain how the Qur’an is sufficient. I explain how Islam is a religion of love. I explain how there is no room for murder and killing in it. What people think of when Islam is mentioned today is swords.
