Kenneth Keathley: Why Different Views on Creation of the Earth Does Not Contradict Creation of Adam As Complete Human Being?



There are different views in the Christian belief on the Creation of the Earth. But you do not see this as a problem – as long as one accepts that Adam is created as a complete human being by God.  Is this correct? And can we interpret this view, as opinions may differ in some details, as long as  it is not the theory of evolution? And in Christian belief – in any kind of interpretation – there  is no place that living beings are formed out of non-living things by coincidences?

Well, I am an Evangelical Christian. And so the answer I’m going to give, I’m speaking as someone who is an Evangelical Christian. Prior to the 1960’s most Evangelical Christians held to an old earth understanding of the universe. There was a book published by Henry Morris and John Witcomb called ‘The Genesis Flood’ which argued very strongly for the young earth position and as a result many Evangelical Christians today argue and hold to the young earth view.

So I do think that one can hold either to an old earth view or a young earth view; both are permitted within the Genesis text. However I think that the old earth view, not only fits the scripture it also fits with science. And I believe that the God, Who gave us the Bible is also the God, Who created the heavens and earth. And so I believe that one ought to interpret the Bible and science in a way that both agree with one another.

I do think that it is important that we hold to the historicity of Adam and Eve that they were real people created miraculously by God. I think this is important for the Gospel narrative of Creation fall redemption and restoration.  And I also think that it fits very well what science has told us about the common ancestry of humanity. When the human Genome Project was completed by Francis Collins about 15 years ago, one of the things that they determined and discovered is that all of humanity derives from a common man and a common woman. 

And they called woman mitochondrial Eve, they called the man Y-chromosome Adam. Because that refers to the methods by which they were able to arrive at the conclusion that all of humanity has this one woman who is the common ancestor of all and we have this one man who is the common ancestor of all. And I do believe that this is a scientific evidence of the historicity of Adam and of Eve. So I think that a Christian can hold to both an old earth perspective and to the historicity of the original couple.

Jesus Messiah will not come with a prophethood duty, he will come as a subject of the Qur’an

ADNAN OKTAR: "When he bows his head, water drips, when he lifts it, beads like silver pearls roll down his hair." This is Jesus Messiah. "Water drips from his hair even though it does not come into contact with any water." Abu Dawood. I will talk about what the water on his head means later, insha'Allah. Look, "His hair is wet even though it did not come into contact with any water." We will talk about what that water means in another conversation. Our Prophet (saas) puts quite an emphasis on this subject. He deems it significant. This must mean it has a vital importance. Jesus Messiah has a thin waist, while Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) does not. Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) has a bulky body overall. "His face is pure and bright," says Al-Nabawi Ibn-Hajar. "His face looks red as if he just got out of a bath house," says al-Bukhari. "He has a calm and lively expression. His mouth and nose have a perfect beauty." He has a small, nice, upturned nose. "His forehead is even and clean. He has a dense beard." Jesus (pbuh) has a clean-cut beard. He has an elegant beard, not a classic, full beard. "His eyes glow like fire. His face is white with a red tinge," writes Al-Tabarani in his book, al-Kabir. Our Prophet (saas) is describing what he has seen. What I am telling you are hadiths. And the rest are the verses of the Qur’an. "His eyes are greenish gray." Jesus (pbuh). "He has a sharp look and freckles on his face." He has freckles on his hands and feet too. "He has chestnut hair tinged with a touch of gold." His beard is the same color. It is light, meaning it is a mix of blond and chestnut. "It is as if water drips from his hair." There is an extraordinary situation here. It is not something ordinary. His hair looks wet, well-groomed and mildly wavy. So is his beard. Jesus' (pbuh) hair comes down to his shoulder bones. It is not short at all. His hair is straight down to his ears, and then the rest is wavy. I am describing him so that you won't be surprised when you see him. "He has a small and pleasant nose, his hands and feet are clean and radiant. He has a gentle and content demeanor, he is athletic. His fingers are delicate and long.” In other words, he has thin, delicate hands. "He has an agile, strong body. People wouldn't want to avert their gaze from him once they look at him," says our Prophet (saas), they can't take their eyes off him.
What is interesting is that Catholic and Orthodox Christians, all will acknowledge that he is Jesus Messiah. He is known as the prophet of Christians, as you know; Jews deny him. But what is interesting here is even the Jews will acknowledge him when he comes. "There is not one of the People of the Book who will not believe in him" says God in the Qur’an, that is a miracle. Jews absolutely deny him, they do not recognize him as a prophet. They claim "no such prophet existed." But they will acknowledge him once he comes.
OKTAR BABUNA: On the occasion of Moshiach?
ADNAN OKTAR: Yes. Our Prophet (saas) says, "Leave the right side of my grave empty." People can go and see that there is a considerable space left next to his grave. On his right lies Hazrat Abu Bakr (ra), and Hazrat Omar (ra) is buried further. Normally, he would be buried right next to our Prophet (saas), right? Why would such a considerable amount of space be left? They left a space next to the grave of our Prophet (saas). He says, “Bury my brother Jesus next to me so that we can rise together." "Qum" says God, meaning "rise". Upon hearing the word, Qum, they suddenly come to life. The spirit of God is prevalent in everything. Before you know it, they are alive. Our Prophet (saas) and Jesus Messiah are the first ones to rise. Others will follow them. Jesus Messiah is the manifestation of God's name, "Al-Hayy". The name "Al-Hayy [The Living]" manifests itself in him the most.
Ether encompasses the whole universe in the form of a sea. "The Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters," says God [in the Torah]. In other words, "The spirit of God is everywhere." We see this frequently in the Qur’an. Otherwise there would be no motion, there would be nothing.
"Messianism is Judaism," writes The Great Eagle is not Dead, 3636; "Messianism is Judaism.” I am asking you, who will be considered the last prophet when the Messiah descends to earth again? Our Prophet (saas). The Messiah will come with the prophet title only, not with the prophethood duty. He has the title, but he will be subject to the Qur’an. Jesus Messiah will come as a Muhammadan. "Messianism is Judaism" it is stronger. If it exists in Judaism, in the pages of the Prophet Abraham (pbuh), if the Mahdi was heralded by the Prophet Noah (pbuh), by the Prophet Abraham (pbuh), by the Prophet Moses (pbuh), if it is written in the Torah, than Mahdism is right, it’s true. It’s something you cannot deny. "It is written both in the Torah and the Psalms," says our Prophet (saas). "You can look there," he says.

ADNAN OKTAR: Let me see. Yes, it is about right. Imagine his nose a bit smaller, slightly smaller and it is about right.

Anti-Antichrist

Adnan Oktar: "...Look, Bediuzzaman says; "the individual Antichrist that will be killed by the sword of the individual Jesus (pbuh)." The Prophet Jesus (pbuh) will kill the system of the Antichrist, he says. In other words, Christians are the Anti-Antichrist. How can they be the Antichrist? They are anti-Antichrist. Christians are a system that will kill the Antichrist. Look, he says, "the individual Antichrist that will be killed by the sword of the individual Jesus (pbuh)." In other words, he says that Christians will kill the Antichrist. He says they will destroy the system of the Antichrist under the leadership of the Prophet Jesus (pbuh). That is what Bediuzzaman says. So Christians opposed to the Antichrist are our allies. Christians are not the Antichrist, but the Anti-Antichrist, the exact opposite of the Antichrist. "The collective personality and the huge statue of materialism and irreligious embodied in the Antichrist," in other words, the collective personality of Darwinism and materialism, their predomination in the universities and schools of the world. "... will be destroyed," look, he says, the system of the Antichrist will be destroyed, "by the truly pious followers of Jesus (pbuh)." So how can they be the antichrist? Where did you get that idea from? What does Bediuzzaman say? He says they are the anti-antichrist. "The antichrist will be destroyed by the truly pious followers of Jesus (pbuh)," Christian priests and religious figures that is, "who will blend the essence of true Christianity with the essence of Islam," with the truths of the Qur'an, blending the truths of Christianity with the truths of the Qur'an and Islam, "and rout the antichrist with their combined strength, in effect killing him spiritually" says Bediuzzaman, in the Rays......."

My teacher Adnan Oktar said Muslims and Christians should work together against materialistic system of antichrist (dajjal) like Darwinism, Communism, Fascism etc. Many Jews, Christians and Muslims who claim they are true believers but under influence of antichrist they are keeping hatred towards other believers in their hearts. Today some pictures published by Catholic.org made me upset as these pictures are being widely used to defame Islam and Muslims, and creating hatred towards Muslims in hearts of Christians. These pictures are published against terrorist organization ISIS but are exploded in hundreds of anti-Islamic websites and social media against Islam and Muslims. When I searched the source of these pictures then found about all of them are fake or irrelevant. ISIS has committed plenty of murders of their political opponents including Muslims (both shia and sunni), and destroyed shrines and mosques but it is not true they are only targeting Christians and they are systematically beheading Christians. Preparing and publishing these fake pictures by Catholic.org is showing they are also influnced by antchrist who want Armagadon in this region which is the region of holy Prophets (pbut).


I don't know this picture is scene of a horror film or not but this girl is Chinese. The girl in the picture is Chinese. Why Islamists (Muslims) will kill a chinese girl in Syria? Also look dress and shoes of Islamists :)....

ISIS is misguided but they believe in God and His prophets like Christians. Islam teaches respect of women. Role model of all Muslims is mother of Prophet Jesus Christ (pbuh).




In this picture Catholic.org calimed Islamists are killing childrens because they are Christians. Reality is the innocent girl in the picture of Fatima who is killed by army of a tyrant. When a bomb of a tyrant strikes a building then it kills all people including Muslims, Christians, atheists and also childrens, just like drone attacks.

These kids are not Christians and not belonged to Mosal but Damascus. They are affected by a car explosion which cannot also distinguished between Christians and Muslims like drones attacks.

This innocent women is not killed for being Christian but she is a Muslim professor who is killed for raising voice against falsehood.

Adnan Oktar: The best thing to be done against ISIS is to explain the truth with love, science and wisdom. That is because these people believe in God yet they are trapped in idolatry; this idolatry drags them into committing murder. They have been misinformed. If you correct that mistake, the whole issue would then be solved.
Adnan Oktar: Idolatry brings ruin to people. It drags them into committing murders, killing people and even killing themselves, burning and destroying their surroundings. But once those people are saved from idolatry they become a radiant, luminous people. And that will be made possible by Imam Mahdi (pbuh), insha'Allah.

ISIS Idolatry:

Why these fake pictures are being used and circulated against Islam? Is it preparation of Armageddon and dividing Iraq, Syria and Turkey by antichrist?

Adnan Oktar: We know that America wants a Kurdistan to be established and the Kurds are separated. But it does not want this for the benefit of the Kurds. Evangelicals believe that a big war needs to take place. They believe that there should be an Armageddon. Therefore, they have a belief that there will be a state there, that Israel will dominate the region completely, a big state that covers the cities in Southeast like Batman, Siirt and Diyarbakir, but there will be a Kurdish state; then communist Kurds will be eliminated and then Israel will come to the region and they will kill the Israeli people, so only one hundred and twenty thousand Jewish people will be left, and the others will be killed. Within this context, they want to misuse my dear Kurdish brothers and sisters. We will not let this. America does not like it because they are Darwinists and materialists. What happens when one is Darwinist and materialist? They say, “Turks are a transitional form”. They say, “They are a transitional form that did not complete its evolution”. They say that Turkish people are “Unevolved animals”. The European Union says the same thing. How could a person love another at first sight? Of course he could not.

The force that can stop the 3rd World War referred to by the Pope is Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) and the Prophet Jesus (pbuh)

Pope Francis has said that war is a state of madness and that wars prosecuted in the name of religion are condemned to be cursed. He also said that the fragmented crimes and killings and conflicts taking place in different parts of the world may be the first stages of the 3rd World War.
Adnan Oktar: The force that will prevent the 3rd World War is the Mahdi. The reckoning will come with the 3rd World War. Not a stone will be left standing. The imam Mahdi and Jesus the Messiah, those two fine people, have come to prevent the Reckoning. They will stop it when little time remains. There will be a good time lasting for some 70 years, but then degeneration will begin.

Adnan Oktar:  Can they not stop launching rockets so we can establish peace and this horror can come to an end? What is the point? They are trying to escalate it every day! Let us establish peace so they can embrace one another. Let them announce that they are brothers. The two sides could even establish an army together. They should set up their own defense structures. Let us build the Temple of Solomon at once, and the lovely palace of the Prophet Solomon (pbuh). Then what should we do…?
Oktar Babuna: Let us climb to the Temple Mount.
Adnan Oktar: Let us climb to the Temple Mount. Look, the gate of Lot is closed. Let us get the rabbis to open it. Then let us get imams and the Pope, and the chief rabbi. Let us walk down from the Mount together, through the gate of Lot. That will be the end of the matter.
Oktar Babuna: Insha’Allah. Will the Prophet Jesus (pbuh) be there, too?
Adnan Oktar: We are waiting for him, otherwise we would long since have been there. It is no good without him, so we are waiting. If we have to wait too long, we will go there anyway. He will see and will hear and will have to come, insha’Allah. He will come to pray. He will come to pray at the Dome of the Rock. We will have to oblige him to come, otherwise he will not.
- When will he come?
Adnan Oktar: Let me explicitly state that Jesus will not come until Hazrat Mahdi makes Islam prevail the world. It is not possible. He will not come until the Christian world feels an intense love for Islam. He will not come until the Jewish world feels an intense love for Islam. The responsibility for that lies with the Mahdi, a man of love. He is now awaiting God’s command. It has nothing to do with his saying, ‘I have come.’ He will say, 'I was made to appear.’ God is now making things hard for the Islamic community. There is great pressure on them. Blood is flowing in Palestine, Libya, Egypt and everywhere. But it will flow much more than that! Blood will flow until the Mahdi tells it to stop!
That is what God desires. That is Almighty God’s command in destiny. We see the blood that has flowed before. It flowed even before the world was made. The angels above saw it and said, ‘The Lord will cause blood to flow. Do You create people in order to give them pain?’ Because God reveals mysteries to them. They know the entire past of the world. They see rivers of blood, particularly in the End Times, in the time of the Mahdi. Almighty God says, you cannot know, but I know. What do the angels not know? The appearance of the Mahdi, the appearance of Jesus the Messiah. They think there will just be bloodshed. Yet Almighty God will produce a light from that sea of blood. The Mahdi and Jesus the Messiah. Two brothers. We will see they closely resemble one another. That resemblance is another source of amazement. Their natures will also be very similar.
It is 2000 years since Jesus the Messiah ascended into the sky. The Mahdi has come 2000 years later, but they bear a remarkable resemblance to one another, in nature and appearance. Their meeting will be at the meeting of the two seas told in Surat al-Kahf. God also says that pearls and corals will appear where those two seas meet. That refers to Jesus the Messiah and the Mahdi. From where the two seas meet, says God. That is guarded language, but clear enough for those who wish to understand. The Qur’an is a sea of secrets.
Aylin Kocaman: Can we learn where the Prophet Jesus is?
Adnan Oktar: The location of Jesus the Messiah is a matter of which God is most jealous. He greatly loves Jesus the Messiah. The Roman soldiers climbed the stairs where Jesus was in order to crucify him. Had Almighty God so wished, they could have found him. They could have martyred Jesus the Messiah. He could have raised him into His Presence in that form. But He raised him directly into His Presence in the form of light. He raised him up in a living state, in the form of light. Now, in the End Times He is turning him into light and sending him back. His followers know that he is Jesus the Messiah. But his life is at risk at the moment. 
His return may drive some members of the Catholic Church completely crazy. It will drive members of the Vatican mafia crazy. It is something that will spur the Vatican mafia into action. Therefore, since his life is in danger God will conceal him until the last moment. But the Mahdi will create circumstances in which he commands the Islamic world and the Christian world also draws very close to Islam. 
Moshiach will descend from the Temple of the Mount. There will be rabbis there and Islamic scholars. The Pope will be there. The rabbi I spoke to (who visited from Israel) about this said the Pope will be there!
Oktar Babuna: Will that happen after the Ark of the Covenant?
Adnan Oktar: Yes, after the descent. The Ark of the Covenant will be opened. That is the reason for that procession, in any case. They will go up to the Temple of the Mount. It is not a very steep hill. There will be rabbis. The Mahdi will be there. Insha’Allah, I will be beside the Mahdi. I do not miss such encounters. The Pope will be there. They elected him specially for that task. The Pope knows about the Mahdi and Jesus the Messiah. I underline that – he knows. He knows what to do and how to behave to whom.
Chief rabbis and Islamic scholars will be there on that day. They will be reasonable scholars though, not fanatics. There will not be any fanatics there on that day.
They will descend from the Temple of the Mount. That rusted iron gate will be opened after 4000 years. Nobody has gone through since then. The gate will be opened and they will pass through. And from there to the al-Aqsa Mosque, insha’Allah. Maybe the Knights of the Temple will be there, and Freemasons. The Ark will be brought up. It will contain sacred relics from the time of the Prophet Solomon and the Prophet Moses. It will be the original Ark of the Covenant.
It will be opened up to the accompaniment of expressions of faith, insha’Allah. The Jews will praise God out loud. Who do the Jews believe can open the Ark? Moshiach! Who will open it? The Mahdi. According to the Torah, only Moshiach can open the Ark. Nobody else. It is a sacred relic that has not been found until then. They failed to find the Ark for 4000 years. Then Moshiach found it and brought it. It is impossible for them to deny that. They have to accept that according to the Torah it is Moshiach who will find the Ark.
Then the first stone of the Temple of Solomon will be laid. A piece of manna will be placed alongside it, insha’Allah. A very small piece of manna, the size of a tea spoon, left over from the time of the Prophet Moses (pbuh) will be put there. After that, the Prophet Jesus will come as Muslims are praying, insha’Allah. It may be a Friday prayer or any morning prayer. The hadiths speak of a morning prayer. The prophet Jesus (pbuh) will come during an unexpected morning prayer with a small number of select followers, no more than 10. He will come trusting in God. Because trust in the system of the Mahdi will have come about by then. He will smile. There will be no need for him to say to the Mahdi, “I am Jesus.” The Mahdi will realize when he sees him, insha’Allah. Believers will also realize. His followers will say, look whom we have brought. Believers will say, ‘Masha’Allah.” That is all. You will see.  The time is close at hand, insha’Allah. 
Our Prophet (saas) says, “When Hazrat Mahdi appears, he will discuss and prove the matters of which he speaks with the Jews on the basis of the Torah. As a result, many Jews will become Muslims.”

Adnan Oktar: The People of the Book are specially protected by Almighty God. There is a verse; God tells us to treat them nicely and in a compassionate way and God says that we can marry their women. God says that we can invite them to dine or eat with them. He tells us that they can come to our houses and we can go to theirs. God tells us to be their friends and marry them. Look: marry the People of the Book!

But you say this: “Master what business do you have with the Jews?” There will be Islamic Union, and Jews and Christians will all be in it. There will be an alliance with Christians. The system of the Mahdi will prevail. Look; this rabbi who came here is waiting for the Moshiach. He is waiting for the Moshiach with enthusiasm and his whole community is waiting for the Moshiach too. What is Moshiach’s duty? Saving the world from irreligiousness, Darwinism and materialism; turning the world into a fair ground. Ending all pains. Both the Moshiach (Mahdi) and the Prophet Jesus (pbuh) have come. They will both appear very soon. The reason behind the incidents in Turkey is the system of the Mahdi. It is nice that a Jewish rabbi came to Turkey. Show some compassion; they are servants of God. They have remained loyal to the Prophet Moses (pbuh) for four thousand years. They never abandoned their faith. They were careful about right and wrong. They said that God is One. They believe in all prophets and most of the rabbis that I have talked to say that they believe our Prophet (pbuh) as a prophet. Therefore enmity towards Jews, Christians or hatred towards Buddhists or atheists; it is wrong. It is unreasonable and cruel. God could have created you as an atheist, a Jew or a Christian. God has created you as a Muslim, thanks be to God. But our duty towards them is told in the Qur’an. We must be compassionate and loving towards them. But some are siding with cruelty. This is wrong.

(Viewer’s letter) “I am a 16-year-old atheist. It seems wrong for God to burn non-Muslims. It seems wrong to burn a Christian because he is from a different part of the world. If God knows the future, He will know that Christians will not be Muslims. If God does not intervene in that, it means that He will not punish everyone for their own free will. Or everyone will eventually be Muslims.”
Everyone will be a Muslim in the time of the Mahdi insha’Allah.
What you are discussing is part of secret knowledge [ilm al-ladun] from God. Do you know what that means? You are now watching me on television. How far away is the TV from you? You will say, “2 or 2.5 meters away.” But I am actually in your brain. Look, that is secret knowledge from the Presence of God. Where will you see hell? In your brain. All right, hell does exist on the outside, but you will see the hell in your brain. Paradise does exist on the outside, but you will see the paradise in your brain.
You cannot know who will go to hell or not. God is not obliged to burn people. “I will burn them,” He says, but He may not. God has no such obligation. You cannot say, “Why are you not burning someone?” May God forbid. He may make you think He is burning someone whereas He really is not. You imagine you will not burn, but you may go to hell, may God forbid. One imagines he is one of the saved, but he may go to hell.
You must trust in the mercy, affection and mind of God. Because it is He Who creates your compassion and logic. It is God Who makes you ask this question. You did not ask it. God asked it. But you are unaware of it. God makes you ask it, and God makes me answer it. These are secret knowledge from the Presence of God. You see people burning in a film, but they are really burning in your brain. How do you know that people will burn? Why should God have any obligation? But He keeps His word. God says “I will burn him.” Does he burn? Yes. But does he burn in the literal sense or not? You must leave that to God. That is secret knowledge from the Presence of God.
He promises paradise, and believers see paradise. Believers also see hell. They come to the very edge of hell. Everyone falls to his knees to feel the awe of God. Then believers are told, “Come here.” There is a light in front of them and to the right. They are in a vehicle. Like a small car. God says there are drivers by their sides. That is a very significant expression. Exactly the same as today’s cars. He says there is a light to the front of them and to the right. That happens with cars, doesn’t it? And he says there are drivers by their sides. They are very comfortable. He says they have a strong hope. This is something unique to the believer. No unbeliever can enter such a vehicle. Unbelievers are left on the ground. “They have much hope,” says God. When the gates of paradise open, believers enter. “Salam alaykum. You are welcome.” “Peace be upon you.” Then paradise is closed off again and that is it. You are there for all eternity.
But hell is necessary. If one does not see hell, one cannot properly appreciate paradise. That is why Almighty God put Hazrat Adam (pbuh) in paradise first. Look, it is quite explicit, and you can see secret knowledge from the Presence of God here. Then He says He will take him out of there. People normally remain in paradise for all time, don’t they? He says He will send him out because he has failed to abide by the rules of paradise. In other words, “You did not keep your promise.” There is a threat here, too.
The people of paradise live in it according to its rules and traditions. There is still the fear of God in paradise. They apply the manners they have learned. There is no rebellion. They are terrified because they know this world. They have seen hell and they know this world. They do not want to return to this world or to go to hell. That is why they kiss the ground in paradise. Because it is a very fine and comfortable place. Can one ever tire of it? That is impossible because they see hell, they can see it on a screen whenever they want. They do not like this world, either. “Shall We send you back,” He asks. “No, no, no,” they reply. Nobody wants to come back to this world again. The idea of returning to this world is a torment for people who have seen paradise. It would be like saying, “I am going to take you to hell.” No Muslim wants to come back to this world.
