Adnan Oktar’s answer to the question, ‘Are fun and music permissible if one lives by the faith?’

ADNAN OKTAR: ‘How is the faith compatible with fun and music?’ one viewer asks. He has failed to realize that in the Qur’an life is meant to be full of joy, and that this world should be like paradise. They regard religion as meaning pain, suffering and misery. They believe that if someone is devout he should have a miserable time. All the beauties of life are part of the faith – music, joy, fun, love and everything. Religion encapsulates all of life and makes them all permissible. There are very few things that are illegitimate and forbidden. But there is no end to things that are lawful. In their eyes, music is sinful, fun is sinful and everything is sinful.

- Because they fail to realize that God is everywhere. They imagine there can be no God in a place where there is music and dancing, may He forbid. God enfolds all places.

ADNAN OKTAR: They believe one cannot think of God while one is having fun. They believe one would have to forget God if one goes to a wedding or a disco. Or that one will forget God if one listens to the radio. They think it is impossible to speak of Allah under those circumstances. They believe one will forget God if one goes dancing and has fun. That is very, very wrong.

- The whole problem is that they are suffering and complaining all the time. But they are also used to it, so they keep on doing it.

- God creates a feeling of joy every day, including when one is dancing or listening to music.

ADNAN OKTAR: They do not believe it. They regard it as incompatible with Islam for a woman to dress well. They believe a woman should have a wretched time and suffer.

- God tells the polytheists, “Let them laugh little and weep much, in repayment for what they have earned.”.

ADNAN OKTAR: All they want is tears and weeping. God says, “Let them laugh little and weep much.” And they are always saying, ‘Let us weep and shed tears.’

Özgecan Aslan was martyred defending her honor and virtue. Because that was jihad, active jihad.

The culture of mourning is so widespread in Turkey! They always want to be mourning. If we let them, they would mourn day and night for years on end, for anything.

- They do nothing to find a solution. They just mourn.

Adnan Oktar: So long as Muslims keep standing against the arts, music and women’s choices about clothes, Islamophobia will occur all around the world

ADNAN OKTAR: So long as Muslims keep standing against music, against the arts and against women’s wearing revealing clothes - for instance, because my friends are wearing revealing clothes here, I receive lots of messages about them, even though the relatives, the mothers and the sisters of those people are also wearing such clothes, yet despite that, their subconscious is filled with those ideas. Europe is also fed up with them. These people are against sculpture, against painting, against music, against entertainment, against the laughter of women, against women going outside, wearing revealing clothes, against men cutting their beards, and the punishment (they see fit for those acts) is always death.

When this is the case, people feel terrified. Islam is misrepresented as a religion of terror. That is the reason why such an antipathy is formed. Then they call it  ‘Islamophobia.’ There is terrorophobia actually, people are terrified because of terror. You are spreading terror. What does it have to do with Islam? The things you are talking about have nothing to do with Islam. You are talking about a system of terror and you are misrepresenting it as Islam. You have named terror as Islam. There is compassion, mercy, love, arts, science, aesthetics,  beauty and everything in Islam.

They invented monasticism – We did not prescribe it for them – purely out of desire to gain the pleasure of God, but even so they did not observe it as it should have been observed. (Surah al-Hadid, 27)

Bigotry is a system where its followers follow not the religion sent by God, but rather idolatry and innovated rules passed down through generations. Throughout  history, the Prophets strove not only against  systems of disbelief, but also the bigots and idolaters of their time.

One of the most distinctive qualities of the bigots is that they think that the Prophets are not good enough (Prophets are surely beyond this), and that they don't think that religion can be easy, and therefore they invent new rules and prohibitions which have  no relation to the forbiddances that God introduced. This trait of the bigots is described as follows:

Do not say about what your lying tongues describe: ‘This is lawful and this is unlawful,’ inventing lies against God. Those who invent lies against God are not successful –. (Surat an-Nahl, 116)

What is forbidden and what is allowed is clearly defined in the Qur'an. The things that are allowed are countless, in such a way that Muslims can enjoy freedom to the utmost levels according to these boundaries that God set.  Our Lord says in one verse that “God desires ease for you; He does not desire difficulty for you.” (Surah al-Baqarah, 185). However, the radicals have a far different mindset in which they believe that the more difficult a religion, the better it is. As a result, they even  tell lies about the lives of Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) and his companions to justify their attempts to make the religion more difficult. They claim that those who don't follow those inaccurate examples will not be helped by Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) in the Hereafter and even go to lengths of declaring such people ‘infidels’. They go so far as to claim  that those people who do not follow the religion they invented should be ‘fought against’, as they build a system that imprisons themselves.

Abandoning sunnah muakkadah (the activities that Prophet Mohammed did frequently) is close to doing something unlawful. And such people will not be helped by Prophet Mohammed in the Hereafter. Because Prophet (pbuh) said: “Whoever abandons my sunnah, he will be deprived of my help’.

About those who abandon the sunnah, Imam Mohammed said that they should be ‘fought against’, and Imam Abu Yusuf said ‘they should be taught manners by punishment’.

Our Ahl al-Sunnah [people of the Sunnah]  imams say: if a person is told to clip his nails, and if he refuses to do so with the intent of shunning sunnah, he will be an unbeliever. (Ibn Hajar al-Haytami)

With such words, the bigots frame Prophet Mohammed (pbuh). One should not forget that the sunnah of Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) is the Qur'an and he would never say or do anything that would go against the Qur'an.

One of the worst things about this superstitious system that bigots build is that they don't even follow the system they have forged. They invent bans, prohibitions and rules that have no place in the Qur'an, but they don't follow them, which condemns them to a life of shame and guilt because they know inside how dishonest and insincere they are being. Here are some examples that clearly show the situation they are in:

Bigots claim that laughing is wrong according to religion, but they laugh and make plenty of jokes when they come together

“Laugh little. Because laughing too much kills the heart (hardens it).” (Tirmidhi, Zuhd, 2; Ibn Majah, Zuhd, 19)

“Laughter is evil.” (Belief and Unbelief / Sufficient Methods / Al-Kulayni, S.1068)

 “Avoid (excessive) jokes, and humor; because that takes away the life in the faces.” (Belief and Unbelief / Sufficient Methods / Al-Kulayni, S.1068)

However according to the Qur'an, laughing little and unhappiness is a punishment that God gives to hypocrites and idolaters:

Let them laugh little and weep much, in repayment for what they have earned. (Surat at- Tawba, 82)

As for those who are unhappy, they will be in the Fire, where they will sigh and gasp. (Surah Hud, 106)

While that is most certainly the unhappy mood of the bigots, the believers enjoy the beauty of loving God and seeing the blessings He gives and constantly give thanks to Him for them. They feel the comfort and happiness of knowing that everything that God creates is good. As a result, they are happy both in this world and in the Hereafter.

You will recognize in their faces the radiance of delight. (Surat al-Mutaffifin,  24)

Bigots claim that it is wrong for women and men to be in each other’s presence. However, everyday they ride buses and trains with women, keep them company at schools and at work. They talk to each other on the internet, befriend each other.

"If a man and a woman (that is illegitimate for him) are left alone, the third one there will be satan." (Tirmidî passed this on and Albânî said that the hadith is authentic in "Shahil al-Jami’; hadith no: 2165)

Youth is a form of insanity, and women are evil’s trap. (E.Nuaym)

"One of you getting an iron needle stuck in your head is better than him touching a woman (that is not legitimate for him)." (Al-Tabarani and al-Bayhaqi, reported they heard it from Ma'qil ibn Yasar and Albani said that this hadith was authentic in ‘Shahil al-Jami'; hadith no: 5045)

They claim that shaking hands with women leads to hell, but they shake hands with women frequently  in their workplaces, schools and business meetings.

Those who are shaking hands with women will be put in hell with their hands tied in their neck. Those who speak unnecessarily and with lust, will stay in hell, one thousand years for each word uttered. (R. Nasihin)

They say that it is wrong even to look at a woman in the face, but they spend time together, look  them in the face and talk with them, and even joke with them. On television programs, they  look women in the face when they talk to them.

When you see a woman (that is not legitimate to you) turn away!Suddenly spotting them is not banned, but turning around to look again will be a sin. (Abu Dawud, Darimi)

The Qur'an does not prohibit women and men from being in each other’s presence: Indeed, in the time of Prophet Mohammed (pbuh), female and male companions took  to the battlefield together and made ablution using the same cup. During the pilgrimage, women and men pray together.  What God hasprohibited is not women and men being in each other’s presence, but only unlawful sexual intercourse.

Indeed, in the story of Joseph in the Qur'an, Prophet Joseph (pbuh) lived in the house of the Egyptian Aziz, where the wife of Aziz was also present, and as a result Prophet Joseph and the wife spent time in the same place. Indeed, Prophet Joseph attended a gathering where the wife of  Aziz invited her female friends over and those women couldn't help but taken aback by the striking beauty of Prophet Joseph, to such a great extent they cut themselves in their state of shock while trying to cut fruit. Prophet Joseph would talk to the wife of Aziz, conversed with her in other words, but never accepted  having unlawful sexual intercourse with her and strictly avoided that and protected himself from such an action.

The woman whose house it was solicited him. She barred the doors and said, ‘Come over here!’ He said, ‘God is my refuge! He is My lord and has been good to me with where I live. Those who do wrong will surely not succeed.’

She wanted him and he would have wanted her, had he not seen the Clear Proof of his Lord. That happened so We might avert from him all evil and lust. He was Our chosen servant. (Surah Yusuf, 23-24)

But when she heard of their malicious talk, she sent for them and made a sumptuous meal and then she gave a knife to each of them. She said, ‘Go out to them.’ When they saw him, they were amazed by him and cut their hands. They said, ‘God preserve us! This is no man. What can this be but a noble angel here!’. (Surah Yusuf, 31)

In the story of Prophet Moses (pbuh), the daughters of Prophet Jethro (pbuh) approached Prophet Moses to ask for his help. After Prophet Moses helped them, the daughters took him to their father to introduce him. They told their father that he was a strong and reliable man.

When he arrived at the water of Madyan, he found a crowd of people drawing water there. Standing apart from them, he found two women, holding back their sheep. He said, ‘What are you two doing here?’ They said, ‘We cannot draw water until the shepherds have driven off their sheep. You see our father is a very old man.’

So he drew water for them and then withdrew into the shade and said, ‘My Lord, I am truly in need of any good You have in store for me.’

One of them came walking shyly up to him and said, ‘My father invites you so that he can pay you your wage for drawing water for us.’ When he came to him and told him the whole story he said, ‘Have no fear, you have escaped from wrongdoing people.’

One of them said, ‘Hire him, father. The best person to hire is someone strong and trustworthy.’ (Surat al-Qasas, 23-26)

The Prophet Solomon (pbuh) explained the religion to the Queen of Sheba  and spent time with her. Indeed, he had a special courtyard prepared for her, of which the floor resembled a deep pool and when the Queen saw that floor, she thought that she was stepping into water and lifted her skirt up. They were also on first name terms, as she was calling the Prophet Solomon ‘Solomon’.

She was told: ‘Enter the courtyard,’ but when she saw it she supposed it to be a pool and bared her legs. He said, ‘It is a courtyard paved with glass.’ She said, ‘My Lord, I have wronged myself but I have submitted with Solomon to the Lord of all the worlds.’" (Surat an-Naml, 44)

Our beloved Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) explained Islam to everyone, female or male, during the Festival of Ukaz. Female Muslims were very comfortable in their communication with Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) and easily discussed everything with him. Therefore, there is nothing in the Qur'an that discriminates against women, or forbids communicating with them, as the bigots claim.

Bigots claim that paintings are unlawful, but pictures and images embellish the pages of the newspapers, magazines and internet websites they read everyday.

“The painters are the ones that will be punished the most severely in hell.” (Tasawar Bukhari, 89)

"Whoever paints a picture, God will punish him in the judgment day for that picture, until He blows soul into them. And He never blows soul. " (Kutub al-Sittah Hadith No: 2168)

They claim that it is wrong to have one’s pictures taken, but they keep taking their own photos and posting them on social networking websites. They claim that it is wrong to have paintings on  walls, but in their houses, workplaces and meetings, the walls are covered in paintings.

Maudidi says: The photographs or posters of the leaders, the photographs of the rallies and protests are never allowed and they are not within the scope of those things that are truly necessary. Especially, the pictures of leaders bring the servants of God closer to the danger, which brought upon the ban on photographs in the first place.

“Those who will be punished the most severely by God, are those who paint (who paint and take pictures).” (Muslim 6:369).

There is not even a single verse in the Qur'an that bans paintings and photography; both of those art forms are beautiful manifestations of God’s art. If a person claims to be God (God is beyond that) and takes or paints a picture with such a delusion, this just shows the disturbed mental state and immorality of that person. Just because a person acts with delusional ideas does not mean that a beauty that can take the art of God to millions should be prevented.

Bigots claim that it is wrong to listen to music, but they do listen to music and share it on Internet. They listen to music in weddings, celebrations, and even dance.

“Whoever listens to a song sung by a singer girl in a musical convention, molten lead will be poured into his ears in the Hereafter.

A person who listens to music will not be allowed to listen to angels in the heaven. (Al-Qurtubi 14/53)

God banned songs, trading of it, money made out of it, teaching it and listening to it. (Al-Ghazali, Nabavi Sunnah)

“Songs cause deviation in heart.” (Abu Dawud)

“Music, songs are like stairway to adultery.”
(Bihar al-Anwar, C.79, S.247)

Music is one of the greatest blessings that God gives to people. This beautiful blessing that speaks to the soul makes believers love God more and get closer to Him. The best  music will be in Paradise. If a song has lyrics that are not  respectful to religion, of course such lyrics should be tuned out, but this doesn't mean that all music should be banned. There is no verse in the Qur'an that forbids music.

Bigots claim that poetry is illegal, but they recite poems.

“One of you being full of blood, is better than being full of poetry.’ Mishkat al-Masabih 4/4809

Bigots claim that it is wrong to shave beards, but they shave every morning before going to work, and most of them don't have beards

"Cutting off limbs by shaving the hair and beard (according to them, shaving the beard is like cutting off a limb) will find no reward in God’s Sight."

In the book called ‘Al-Manhal al-Azb al-Mawrud’, it is  said: ‘Shaving the beard is illegal according to mujtahid [scholars who derive legal rulings] imams who are Abu Hanifa, Imam Maliq, Imam Shafi ve Imam Ahmad and others. All the scholars that are producing rules out of verses and hadiths agree that shaving beards is illegal.” (el-Menhel:1/186-188)

Shaving beard is getting away from the appearance of Prophet Mohammad (pbuh). Prophet Mohammad never shaved his beard. Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) was repulsed by the messengers that didn't have any beards. Once, when he saw that messengers from Yemen had no beards, he was repulsed and turned his face away.

Clearly, bigotry is a system that invents prohibitions that are not in religion and the followers of this bigoted system fail to observe these new rules. They build instead a superstitious religion but cannot even follow that, which makes them live in shame and guilt as they view themselves as hypocrites.: That is the reason why they do not sincerely turn to God and religion.

The only way out of this superstitious religion lies in following the Qur'an completely. Whoever follows the Qur'an completely will be saved. Let’s not forget: the religion of God is easy and God does not wish difficulty or oppression for His servants.

Strive for God with the striving due to Him. He has selected you and not placed any constraint upon you in the religion – the religion of your forefather Abraham. He named you Muslims before and also in this, so that the Messenger could be witness against you and you could be witnesses against all mankind. So establish prayer and pay poor-alms and hold fast to God. He is your Protector – the Best Protector, the Best Helper. (Surah al-Hajj, 78)

- Facebook and Twitter were already banned in Iran. Now they have banned the image sharing site Instagram. 

Adnan Oktar: Iran has really put itself in a terrible state. They have made it worse than North Korea. This is a terrible conception of state and regime. It is terrible and ruthless. This is a huge attack on Islam. It is a terrible denigration of Muslims. Look and see what they have turned Iran into. They want to bring the regime down by force. That is what they want. Young Iranians are being increasingly filled with hate. Millions of young people are being filled with hate. Eventually they will bring the regime down and turn Iran into a horrible place. 

My brother, put the regime right, sort it out. Stop the regime being a scourge. Let it turn into a state of compassion, a regime of beauty. There is no need for squalor. Art is banned, music is banned, fun is banned and laughter is banned. Women are banned from dressing freely. The internet is banned. Have you gone crazy? What has this to do with Islam and the Qur’an? These are things intended to bring down the wrath of God.

Islam is one thing, and bigotry quite another. People fear bigotry. They do not fear Islam. But they think that bigotry is Islam. Bigots grow up like thorn bushes all over the place. There is a huge difference between bigotry and Islam. America and Europe are shown bigotry. Then they wonder why they are entering in among them. Bigots want to kill all Christians and Jews. Of course people will hate those who want to kill them. You hate women wearing loose clothing. Music, and people who laugh and have fun. Then they will hate you back. Bigotry is a terrible scourge, and just as great a threat as communism.

Iranian President Hasan Rouhani has announced that the WhatsApp messaging site will be banned in his country. That is another piece of bigotry. Hasan Rouhani is actually a very modern person. The bigots are making him do this. He is not a bigot. He is a modern person. The bigots are pressurizing him to do it. But there is nothing of the bigot about him.

Fanatics act on the basis of supposition and guesswork

Surat al-Furqan, "The Messenger says, ‘My Lord, my people treat this Qur’an as something to be ignored’.”

God is setting out the reason for the current scourge.

"My Lord, my people treat this Qur’an as something to be ignored.” 

We can see the price of the fanatics’ foolishness. They are unaware they have abandoned the Qur’an. They say they are serving the Qur’an. My brother, you are adding polytheism to the Qur’an. You are fabricating additions to it. How could a Companion say anything totally opposed to the Qur’an? You are fabricating new rules in violation of the Qur’an. The Prophet had an obligation to abide by the Qur’an.  'No, the hadiths have replaced this,’ you say. Then they wonder why scourges rain down on them. God says, “Then they will have no recourse except to say, "By God, our Lord, We were not idolaters.’” in one verse. They are unaware they are idolaters.

"When they are told: ‘Follow what God has sent down,’ they say, ‘No, we will follow what we found our fathers doing.’ " another verse says.

They are going by tradition. They are traditionalists. Not by the Qur’an. They passionately espouse their own ideas and ways of thinking. 'Hazrat Fatimah said that,” they say. Were you there then? How do you know? Why make Hazrat Fatimah a party to your lies? That is imputing a sin to her.

"Some of them are illiterate, knowing nothing of the Book but wishful thinking. They only speculate." says a verse.

Yes, God says they lie through speculation and guesswork. When you ask, they say they are guessing. They are lying on the basis of guesswork.

In the End Times, people will be ashamed to say they pray to God

IN THE END TIMES, PEOPLE WILL BE ASHAMED TO SAY THEY PRAY TO GOD

In the End Times, the antichrist will try to corner Muslims. In Surah al-Alaq, God says ‘...they will try to prevent people from praying’. The antichrist is portraying prayer as something to be ashamed of. Sometimes some people enter into the service of the antichrist with or without knowing, they serve him or talk like him, without even realizing it. For example, when they ask ‘Do you really pray?’, the person says ‘No way, how can you think I’d do that?’. They say ‘But that’s what we heard, that’s what they told us.’ ‘It’s not true, it’s my private life. I’d have told you if I was, but it’s not true’, he answers. 

But praying is a beauty to be proud of, right? When someone asks you ‘Are you compassionate?’, obviously you would answer ‘Yes, I am’, right? You wouldn't say ‘It’s my private life, I can’t tell’. He should be proud of it, but he is afraid, the mountains of fear are scaring him. Or for example, they ask us why we support the AKP. How can I not, especially when the situation is like this now? If such a question is asked like you are being threatened, you would of course be drawn to people who are praying, and you would shy away from people who show prayer as something to be ashamed of. There is nothing surprising about that. No one should think any differently about this. Everything is clear. One hadith says ‘...in the end of times, the antichrist will show some places as heaven, and people who go there will see that actually where they went is hell.’ For example he thinks he is in heaven, that he will have fun; but he sees there are drugs, prostitution, insults, threats, danger, death and he finds himself in the middle of hell. Another hadith says: ‘If any of you sees those days, go to the place which is shown as fire’. Because this is the End Times. The hadith says: ‘He should go to the river that looks like fire, shut his eyes, bow his head down and drink out of it, because it is beautiful cold water’. In other words, Islam will be shown to you like a horrible thing, but you approach Islam and the Qur'an, and you will find peace. For example, we explain how Qur'anic Islam is the real Islam, the free Islam, the modern Islam, the way the companions practiced Islam and many react: ‘It is fire’, ‘It is very dangerous’, ‘They are going to hell’, ‘They are not wearing headscarves’, ‘They are listening to music’, ‘They are wearing nice clothes, ‘Ladies are putting on make up’, ‘They are going to hell’ they say. ‘If any of you sees those days, go to the place which is shown as fire’. It is a beautiful life, says Prophet Mohammad (pbuh). 

‘The antichrist will have a mountain of bread next to him.’ Sahih Muslim passes on the same hadith as follows: ‘The antichrist will be accompanied by mountains of bread and meat and rivers of water’. In other words, they will intimidate people with the threat of lack of food, and will try to use them for their evil purposes. For example they give them the message that ‘If you are religious, you cannot succeed'; if you are religious, doors will be closed to you, you’ll be destroyed if you say you are praying, they’ll destroy you if you say you fraternize with religious people, you’ll be destroyed if you say you met Adnan Hodja, it’ll be the end of you if you say you know other hodjas, if you say you read the Qur'an, you’ll be ruined. Said Nursi says that they will threaten people with lack of food, lack of future and get them on his side, ‘They will fall onto his roof and become his prisoner’ says Said Nursi.

Another hadith says ‘Those who don't follow the antichrist, will face difficulties.’ And what will those following the antichrist say? [They will say]: ‘I don't know the Muslims, I don't pray, I don't fast, I don't practice Islam, or follow Qur'an’. And then they say ‘Perfect then. Now we’ll like you, elect you, praise you. By the way, do you happen to know this hodja?’ He answers ‘No way, why would I?’ They say ‘It’s just we heard it, they even said you were praying.’ He answers ‘Definitely not’. The others say: ‘We also didn't think you would, but we just heard that, and it would be like a disaster, especially before the elections. It’s not true, right?’

He says ‘It’s a complete lie, I’m definitely not praying. This is a private question, why do you pry into my private life?’. This shows the intensity of the End Times. He says, ‘There is no way I would fraternize with Muslims, I’ve never met them’. But when he is asked ‘Do you know this communist?’, he says ‘Of course, we are really good buddies.’ 

Or they ask him: ‘Do you know this Darwinist, that materialist?’ He says: ‘I always talk to him, we are such good friends. We always get together, he is like a brother to me. I like him a lot.’ But when he is asked ‘What about this Muslim? Do you know him?’ He says ‘Definitely not, I never would ’. 

These things are normal in the End Times. It is even narrated in the hadiths that the antichrist will kill people who don't follow him. Indeed, look around the world, there are disasters everywhere. He retaliates by killing. The satans will tell the antichrist ‘Tell us what you want and we’ll do it’. And he will say ‘Go and tell people I am their god’. In other words, tell them humans are the result of coincidences, that the universe popped into existence coincidentally, what Darwin said is true, tell them there is no god. 'The antichrist will have one day and one nights' distance between his two feet. In one stride, he will cover long distances. With his right hand he will grab the clouds and watch the Sun and the stars.’ This is obviously a description of someone riding in a plane. How else could someone feel like he is grabbing the clouds? He is passing through the clouds, he is grabbing the clouds? How can he watch the Sun move? Because the plane moves as the Sun rises, and because he moves too, the rising continues for him. Or for example he starts flying while the Sun is setting, and it keeps rising as he moves and stops only towards the midday. ‘The antichrist will have one day and one nights' distance between his two feet’. In other words he will move very fast; this hadith refers to a speed of 300 or 400 km/h.

ADNAN OKTAR: (viewer’s letter) “This can be done with the unification of the Islamic world. It cannot be done by forging an alliance with Crusader, Zionist armies.” My brother, nobody is telling you to forge an alliance with a Crusader, Zionist army. I am saying, “Forge an alliance with devout Jews and devout Christians.” They will crush the system of the antichrist, Muslims will crush it and Christians will crush it; when they are in alliance. Bediuzzaman says, “Christianity and Islam, which are defeated separately, will be victorious when they are allies.” He says that “Jesus (pbuh), who is in the sky, will appear in physical form.” “When he comes, people will not recognize him.” In other words, they will think he is an ordinary person. “But the select one and who are close to him will recognize him through the light of faith,” he says of Jesus the Messiah. An alliance with Christians is very important. The antichrist is misdirecting and misinforming you. Why? To weaken you. He wants to divide Jews from Christians from Muslims. They are smothering Muslims in Iraq and Syria and Egypt. They are trying to smother Israel, as well. They are already about to wipe Christians off the face of the earth. Churches are being closed everywhere, they cannot perform their acts of worship. They want the three great forces to fight among themselves and disappear, and thus to impose the system of the antichrist on the world. But the antichrist will be defeated as a result of this great alliance. The antichrist currently dominates the world. A huge force dominates it. Indeed, our Prophet (pbuh) says that the military power, the material strength, his own body in other words, “will be that of a child compared to a castle” in a hadith. As little as that. “But it will be great in quality” he says of the Prophet Jesus (pbuh). The same with Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh). His community will be much smaller than the armies of the antichrist, just 313 people in total. That is what our Prophet says. There has to be an alliance, between Christians and Muslims. Yet they keep falling out. They never leave each other alone. They are not united in opposition to the irreligious, the atheists, all the enemies of Islam. A great many of them want Islam to be wiped off the face of the earth. They do not want there to be any more Muslims, Christians or Jews. But that extremism will disappear once Christians and Jews come together.

“At that point,” he says, “when the current appears to be very strong,” in other words, when the system of the antichrist, Darwinism and materialism seem to be very strong, “the religion of true Christianity, which comprises the collective personality of Jesus (pbuh), will emerge. That is, it will descend from the skies of Divine Mercy. Present Christianity will be purified in the face of that reality; it will cast off superstition and distortion, and unite with the truths of Islam. Christianity will in effect be transformed into a sort of Islam.” Christianity will come to resemble Islam. They believe in the one God. “Following the Qur’an,” by binding itself to the Qur’an right from the start, “the collective personality of Christianity will be in the rank of follower, and Islam, in that of leader. True religion will become a mighty force as a result of its joining it.” In other words, by Christians adhering to Islam. “Although defeated before the atheistic current while separate, Christianity and Islam will have the capability to defeat and rout it as a result of their union. Then the person of Jesus (pbuh), who is present with his human body in the world of the heavens, will come to lead the current of true religion, as, relying on the promise of One Powerful Over All Things, the Bringer of Sure News has said. Since he has told of it, it is true, and since the One Powerful Over All Things has promised it, He will certainly bring it about.” Bediuzzaman says that Christianity will literally become reminiscent of Islam. That is what is happening now. They are saying, ‘La Ilahe IllaAllah’ [There is no god but God] Belief in the trinity is fast disappearing among Christians. They are ridding themselves of nonsense and things that were added on subsequently. They are ashamed of such nonsense now.

TUBA BABUNA: It is even recorded in authentic traditions of the Prophet that at the end of time the truly pious among the Christians will unite with the People of the Qur'an and fight their common enemy, irreligion. And at this time, too, the people of religion and truth need to unite sincerely not only with their own brothers and fellow believers, but also with the truly pious and spiritual ones the Christians, temporarily from the discussion and debate of points of difference in order to combat their joint enemy-aggressive atheism. ADNAN OKTAR: Look, Bediuzzaman is saying, “Unite with the Christians.” Because Darwinist and materialist thinking has engulfed the world. Irreligion and atheism have engulfed the world. Bigotry and extremism have engulfed it.

GÜLŞAH GÜÇYETMEZ: It will be the truly pious followers of Jesus who will kill the gigantic collective personality of materialism and irreligion which the antichrist will form -for the antichrist will be killed by Jesus’ sword- and destroy his ideas and disbelief, which are atheistic. Those truly pious Christians will blend the essence of true Christianity with the essence of Islam and rout the antichrist with their combined strength, in effect killing him. The narration: “Jesus will come and will perform the obligatory prayers behind the Mahdi and follow him,” alludes to this union, and to the sovereignty of the Qur’an and its being followed. ADNAN OKTAR: Bediuzzaman is also saying here that Christians will forge an alliance with Muslims. Devout Christians. He says they will adopt a kind of Islam and be freed from their distorted and corrupted ideas. Yes.

ELİF KIRAL: O my brothers who are here in the Umayyad Mosque and those who are in the mosque of the world of Islam half a century later!

ADNAN OKTAR: Half a century later. He is speaking of the present time.

ELİF KIRAL: Do the introductory remarks, that is, those made up to here, not point to the conclusion that it is Islam that will be the true, and spiritual, ruler over the future, and only Islam that will lead mankind to happiness in this world and the next; and that true Christianity, stripping off superstition and corrupted belief, will be transformed into Islam; following the Qur’an, it will unite with Islam? ADNAN OKTAR: They do not stop being Christians, but they adhere to the Qur’an. They are still Christians. But they follow the Qur’an. They have become Christians who follow Muhammad.
