Ramadan 2012, The 4th Day

Obey Allah and His Messenger and do not quarrel among yourselves lest you lose heart and your momentum disappear. And be steadfast. Allah is with the steadfast. (Surat al-Anfal, 46)

Tabarani relates from Amr ibn Ali Tariqi and. Ali b. Ebi Talib in the Evsad: Hazrat Ali (ra) asked the Prophet (saas) “O Messenger of Allah, is Hazrat Mahdi (as) one of us, or is he not?” He replied: He is certainly one of us. In the same way Almighty Allah began Islam with me, so he will end it with him. In the same way that they were freed from polytheism and enmity and friendhsip and love entered their hearts through me, so it will be again (with the coming of Hazrat Mahdi [as]). (Al-Muttaqi al-Hindi, Al-Burhan fi Alamat al-Mahdi Akhir az-Zaman, p. 23)

People should emphasize on love all around the world. People are loveless in general. This is a great scourge. And people are very unhappy. I mean this is a national disaster. This is a national disaster for Turkey and also it is a national disaster for every other country. I mean this is a calamity. You know that states make declarations for disaster areas; the whole world should in fact be declared as the disaster area. Lovelessness is a great pain. Insecurity is a great pain. How is it acceptable for people to be afraid of each other? People are afraid of each other, that is a disgrace. People should love each other with enthusiasm. They should love each other with affection. They should love animals, they should love flowers, they should love each other. They are to love the mountains, they are to love meadows, they are to love the scenery, they are to love the technical equipment. All these are beauties, Allah creates them all for us. But fear is running rampant in the whole world. Pain goes the rounds in the whole world. People cannot trust each other. For instance people get engaged to be married and remain engaged for three years. And they still cannot get to know each other properly. They get married and in six months they get divorced and they say that they did not recognize each other correctly. They play games. Of course just kneeling and giving flowers would not work in such things. These are all related with wisdom and conscience, they are related with profundity.

Not To Hesitate In Trusting Muslims…

A mother has an understanding of intense compassion towards her child who is completely unaware and defenseless in the face of the dangers around. Allah makes this feeling of compassion He bestowed on mothers means for the protection of people from the moment they are born. And that feeling of compassion in humans is a manifestation of Allah's name; All-Merciful, Most-Merciful.

Allah had created this feeling of intense compassion, mothers feel towards their children, also in animals in a similar manner. Science is observing the self-sacrificing acts of animals in protecting their whelps in awe and admiration. Of course Allah had created various lessons and examples for man in such behaviors of animals.

"Motherly compassion" is an important measure and example for the understanding of compassion people should feel for each other. Just like a mother who cannot show interest, concern and compassion to a defenseless child only from time to time and leave him alone "to take care of himself" at other times; just like her giving the priority to her child everywhere at all times; this behavior should be the foundation of an ideal understanding of compassion. The compassion people feel for each other should be just like a mother's unflinching and measureless self-sacrifice for her child; just like her putting her child's comfort, peace and needs above her own. The mercy people feel for each other should be as powerful as a mother's, who no matter how hard the conditions she is in are; even in her most tired, sleepless, weakest, most ill, most intense and busiest times; never compromises from this compassion and diligence.

However such a powerful understanding of compassion is of course a feeling that can only be lived with the "fear of Allah". It is Allah Who, for the protection of children, guides mothers by inspiring this feeling of compassion towards their children in them. Yet in order to sustain this understanding of compassion for a lifetime and to forward this to all humans, this person should fear Allah and act in compliance with the morality of the Qur'an.

People who do not have faith, can only display such a powerful morality of compassion towards people with whom they have a connection of interest; that is towards people who they think will provide an interest for them now or in the future. And they can only sustain this temporarily.

Muslims on the other hand can live compassion and mercy as a part of their personalities all through their lives. They adopt the "motherly compassion" Allah shows us as an example, as a trait of their characters. They adopt a manner towards Muslims around them that is much more protective than the diligence a mother shows to her child. They love and respect their Muslim brothers as their friends, companions and families and they never fail in respect for them. However as they act compassionately; they adopt a meticulous morality just like a mother satisfying all the needs, distress and expectations of her child even before they are voiced. They put others' problems, needs, troubles ahead of their own. They never make concessions from protecting their Muslim brothers even in most difficult times.

However the "motherly compassion" should of course not be perceived as putting that person in the place of a child and assuming a more experienced, wiser, more knowing manner towards that person. This understanding of compassion is a morality that is displayed completely in a humble and modest manner. Sometimes the person to approach with the compassion of a mother might be senior than that person himself. The important part here is to be in a very self-sacrificing and tactful manner in protecting and coddling that person and in satisfying his needs with great precision, without making it felt.

This "motherly compassion" seen in Muslims is a very important indication of the love devout people feel for each other. That is because only a person who loves solely for the approval of Allah without getting in any kind of expectation, can show such a high morality. Consequently, showing this morality continuously -without discriminating any person- towards all Muslims is at the same time an important indication which shows that person is a sincere believer.

In the Qur'an, Allah revealed the following about the understanding of compassion Muslims should show to each other:

Do not direct your eyes longingly to what We have given certain of them to enjoy. Do not feel sad concerning them. And take the believers under your wing. (Surat al-Hijr, 88)

The Evolution Deceit What Darwınists Never Realize

1-Darwinists never realize that the odds of proteins emerging from left-handed amino acids only are 1 in 10210, that the probability of such a thing happening is equivalent to “zero,” and that this cannot have come about by chance.

2-Darwinists never realize how amino acids, made up of unconscious atoms with no ability to see or hear, are able to constitute proteins, which are essential for life and possess the most perfect structures.

3-Darwinists never realize that the amino acids they claim came into existence by chance know how to assume the correct sequence for each protein and do this in an error-free manner.

4-Darwinists never realize how the atoms in the minuscule protein molecule are arranged according to a blueprint and design, how they fold and bend in the light of these, and how this special structure is determined for each and every protein.

5-Darwinists never realize why the nerve cell, which they claim came into being as the result of blind coincidences, should feel the need to convert a scent into an electrical signal.

6-Darwinists never realize how the brain, they maintain emerged by chance, functions without interruption, ad with no nerves tangling.

7-Darwinists never realize how the atoms, they maintain behave in a random manner, come to constitute the tear gland.

8-Darwinists never realize how the eyebrows, which they claim formed as the result of unconscious processes, consciously decide to stop growing once they have reached a particular length.

9-Darwinists never realize how the eyelashes, which they claim formed by chance, stop growing in a conscious manner once a specific length has been reached, and yet how the hair continues growing.

10-Darwinists never realize how the body decides to halt production when the level of iron rises, how it is able to behave in an intelligent manner, and how that intelligence can never be explained by the theory of evolution in any way whatsoever.

Strife In Which Even Women And Children Are Slaughtered

Even women, children, the elderly, and the innocent will be massacred before the Mahdi comes:

In this case, killing a woman will be as easy as wielding a whip. This event will spread twenty-four miles from Madinah. Then the oath of allegiance will be taken to the Mahdi. (al-Suyuti, Portents of the Mahdi, p. 34)

The Mahdi will not appear until innocent people are killed… (Ibid., p. 35)

The last of this strife will be the killing of innocent people, and then the Mahdi will appear, to the approval of all. (Ibid., p. 38)

The Mahdi will not appear until innocent people are slaughtered. He will appear when those on Earth and in the skies can no longer bear the killing... (al-Haythami, Al-Qawl al-Mukhtasar, p. 37)

They will kill mothers, fathers, daughters, men, everyone, and inflict great suffering on the [Muslim] community by conquering Persia and Iraq. Among these there will be strife, violence, destruction, and flight. (al-Suyuti, Portents of the Mahdi, p. 36)

Ramadan 2012, The 3rd Day

And hold fast, all together, by the rope which Allah (stretches out for you), and be not divided among yourselves; and remember with gratitude Allah’s favour on you; for you were enemies and He joined your hearts in love, so that by His Grace, you became brothers; and you were on the brink of the pit of Fire, and He saved you from it. In this way Allah make His Signs clear to you: That you may be guided. (Surah Al’Imran, 103)

Allah will give life to the Sunnah through one of my sons Muhammad ibn Abdullah [Hazrat Mahdi (as)]. His justice and plenty will ease the hearts of believers. He will bring friendship and love to the Persian and Arab nations. (Al-Muttaqi al-Hindi, Al-Burhan fi Alamat al-Mahdi, p. 66)

Islamic moral values require that one strive to make a person good, to turn them in the direction of good, so they can find salvation. Otherwise the result is immorality and bad conscience.

The 'Compassion Of A Mother' Which Is Observed In The Character Of A Mother Is A Trait Of Good Morality That Muslims Should Display Towards Each Other

In the Qur'an, Allah revealed the following about the understanding of compassion Muslims should show to each other:

Do not direct your eyes longingly to what We have given certain of them to enjoy. Do not feel sad concerning them. And take the believers under your wing. (Surat al-Hijr, 88)

Protein Cannot Form Unless The Cell Exists As An Integral Whole

Darwinists can write as many deceptive books jam packed with formulae, produce as many false fossils as they like, make as many demagogic assaults on the scientific evidence for Creation as they choose or stick posters up full of fantastical illustrations and present these as exhibitions of evolution all over the place, but none of this will ever change the fact of their fundamental defeat. Because the worst nightmare for Darwinists is the very beginning of life. Darwinists HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO PRODUCE A SINGLE EXPLANATION of how just one protein came into being. This is an expression of the despairing situation into which, Dawkins, Futuyma, Tim White and all other Darwinists now find themselves. None of this demagoguery can resolve this great and stupendous rout in the face of a single protein. A SINGLE PROTEIN HAS TOTALLY DEMOLISHED DARWINISM.

One important feature of Darwinist demagoguery is that Darwinists always tended to reduce the question of the origin of life to the very simple, despite all the complexity of life, by portraying everything within it as very simple. That is the reason for such myths as “the cell emerged from muddy water” and “DNA spontaneously began replicating itself.” Darwinists imagined it would be easier to deceive people in this way. But they have now seen that the time for such deception has passed. Not only do people now know that a single protein is far too complex ever to come into being spontaneously, they are also aware that neither a protein, DNA, RNA or any other minute component of the cell WILL SERVE ANY PURPOSE IN THE ABSENCE OF THE CELL AS A WHOLE.

This fact is of great important in terms of the defeat of Darwinism:

- DNA is essential for a single protein to form

- DNA cannot form without protein

- Protein cannot form without DNA

- Protein cannot form in the absence of protein

- Sixty separate proteins are needed for a single protein to form

- Protein cannot form in the absence of any one of these

- Protein cannot form with no ribosome

- Protein cannot form with no RNA

- Protein cannot form without ATP

- Protein cannot form without the mitochondria to manufacture ATP

- Protein cannot form without the cell nucleus

- Protein cannot form without the cytoplasm

- Protein cannot form in the absence of a single organelle in the cell

- And proteins are necessary for all the organelles in the cell to exist and function

- There can be no protein without these organelles.

This is an interconnected system that has to function simultaneously. You cannot have one part without the other. Even if one component exists, it will still not function in the absence of the others.

In short,

THE WHOLE CELLIS NECESSARY FOR A PROTEIN TO FORM. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR A SINGLE PROETIN TO FORM IN THE ABSENCE OF THE WHOLE CELL, with its perfect complex structure we see today, but of which we understand only a very small part.

Even if this protein did form spontaneously (which is in any case impossible), it will still serve no purpose. It will just wander around alone and die.

Therefore, Dawkins’ claim of “a spontaneously replicating molecule” is utterly ludicrous and solely intended to deceive. NO MOLECULE IN THE HUMAN CELL POSSESSES THE ABILITY TO REPLICATE ITSELF SPONTANEOUSLY WITHOUT THE HELP OF ANY OTHER MOLECULE.

The Cambridge University Professor of Philosophy Stephen C. Meyer describes this in his book The Signature in the Cell:

Following the elucidation of the structure and function of DNA during the 1950s and early 1960s, a radically new conception of life began to emerge. Not only did molecular biologits discover that DNA carried information; they soon began to suspect that living organisms must contain systems for processing genetic information. Just as the digital information stored on a disc is useless without a device for reading the disc, so too is the information on DNA useless without the cell’s information-processing system. As Richard Lewontin notes, “No living molecule (i.e., biomolecule) is self-producing. Only whole cells may contain all the necessary machinery for self-reproduction... Not only is DNA incapable of making copies of itself, aided or unaided, but it is incapable of ‘making’ anything else... The proteins of the cell are made from other proteins, and without that protein-forming machinery nothing can be made.”1

These statements once again reveal the inconsistency of these accounts by Dawkins, who has recently converted to the religion of outer space. The Earth is the most ideal environment in all of space for the survival of the living cell. But not even these ideal conditions by themselves make it possible for the cell to be able to form spontaneously. Dawkins has looked for a new explanation in the face of this and now maintains that a molecule capable of replicating spontaneously formed in space and subsequently made its way to Earth. The first insoluble problem here is that no such living molecule can form spontaneously. The second is, as set out above, that no living molecule can replicate spontaneously, not even on Earth. Aware of these insoluble problems, Dawkins eventually had to admit that such a molecule was created by a sublime intelligence.2

Widespread Slaughter Before The Mahdi Comes

The hadiths reveal that violence and chaos will affect the great majority of people before the Mahdi comes and that much blood will be shed:

Doomsday will not take place until these things come to pass… Death and slaughter will be widespread… (al-Suyuti, Jamius Sagir, 3:211; Musnad, 2:492, 4:391, 392)

There will be cries of war in Shawwal and war and carnage in Dhu al-Hijjah. Again in Dhu al-Hijjah, pilgrims will be plundered and the roads will be filled with blood… The bloodshed will continue and increase.(al-Suyuti, Portents of the Mahdi of the End Times p. 37)

…The Hajjis will be looted, and there will be a battle at Mina in which many will be slain. Blood will flow until it runs over the Jamra al-'Aqaba. [Jamra: a stone pillar representing Satan that is stoned during the pilgrimage.](Narrated by `Amr ibn Shu`ayb, al-Hakim, and Nu`aym ibn Hammad)

There will emerge widespread strife that seems impossible to ever end... (Al-Haythami, Al-Qawl al-Mukhtasar, p. 55)

People make pilgrimage without an imam leading them. Big wars break out when they come down to Mina, and they are entwined just the way dogs entwine, and tribes attack each other. This strife is so widespread that legs are buried in lakes of blood. (al-Suyuti, Portents of the Mahdi of the End Times, p. 35)

Such a strife will appear that nowhere will be spared. When it ends in one place, it will immediately spread to another... (al-Haythami, Al-Qawl al-Mukhtasar,pp. 21-22)

Modern communications technology will make everyone aware of this corruption and disasters. Even though there may only be few people present at the scene, the whole world will learn what is happening instantaneously. Radio, television, newspapers, and the Internet will broadcast bloodshed, injustice, and oppression to the whole world.

Ramadan 2012, The 2nd Day

You who believe! Fasting is prescribed for you, as it was prescribed for those before you - so that hopefully, you will fear [and respect] Allah. (Surat al-Baqara, 183)

“Islam is based on five things: the testimony that there is no deity but Allah and that Muhammad (saas) is His servant and messenger, the observance of the prayer, the payment of Zakat, the pilgrimage, and the fast during Ramadan. ” (Bukhari, Muslim)

Praising Allah and giving thanks to Allah is done very rarely among people. Giving thanks to Allah.. Recently, I was talking to an acquaintance of ours. He was constantly talking about some blessings he had been given, I said; "Alhamdulillah," [Praise be to Allah] and he did not say "Alhamdulillah". I kept talking and he still did not say "Alhamdulillah".

have said; "My friend, my beloved brother, giving thanks to Allah is very important. Note that all those you have just talked about are blessings, so give your thanks to Allah in everything. "

Allah mentions giving thanks to Allah in the Qur'an. Look, He says; [I seek refuge with Allah from the satan] "If you are grateful, I will certainly give you increase." If you give your thanks, that is. The man does not get it. In fact it actually increases. I mean there would be prosperity and abundance in the whole Turkey. There would be prosperity and abundance in his life as well. It does not increase for him as he does not give thanks to Allah. They expect things to happen within an hour or so. In fact it happens sometimes only after a month, sometimes after a year.. but it certainly increases. Giving thanks to Allah is very much important. Alhamdulillah. (A9 TV, June 24, 2011)

Let Us Give Thanks For And Not Squander The Blessings Bestowed On Us By Our Lord In The Holy Month Of Ramadan

Almighty Allah has permitted us to spend yet another month of Ramadan with our Muslim brothers and sisters, and has brought us to the time of this most excellent observance in a state of health and security.

As revealed in the Qur’an in the verse “Beforehand we certainly used to call on Him because He is the All-Good, the Most Merciful” (Surat at-Tur, 28), Allah is He Who bestows countless blessings and beauties through the course of an individual’s life. Everything that exists comes from Him. All beauty and blessings are manifestations of our Lord’s omniscience. This is revealed in the Qur’an:

He has given you everything you have asked Him for. If you tried to number Allah’s blessings, you could never count them. Man is indeed wrongdoing, ungrateful. (Surah Ibrahim, 34)

Every moment of our lives, we encounter innumerable instances of Almighty Allah’s blessings. In return for these blessings, Allah wishes us to give thanks to Him.

By His mercy, Allah does not hold human beings responsible for their errors or what they forget. He imparts no responsibility in situations beyond their power. He lifts their burden by teaching them patience, fortitude and trust in Him. The name of Allah as Al-Haleem (The All-Clement, The Lenient) is revealed in the Qur’an as follows:

Allah keeps a firm hold on the heavens and earth, preventing them from vanishing away. And if they vanished no one could then keep hold of them. Certainly He is Most Lenient, Ever-Forgiving. (Surah Fatir, 41)

There is a purpose behind the creation of every blessing. Blessings are not created in order for human beings to use them irresponsibly and heedlessly at the promptings of their earthly desires. With the blessings He bestows, Allah shows us His love and compassion. One aspect of the wisdom in the granting of blessings is that the person using that blessing turns towards Allah. People must not forget that they will be held to account for every blessing bestowed by our Lord, the Most Compassionate of the compassionate.

Allah wishes His servants to make use of the blessings He has created, but has forbidden us to waste them. He has revealed this to His servants thus in the Qur’an:

It is He Who produces gardens, both cultivated and wild, and palm-trees and crops of diverse kinds, and olives and pomegranates, both similar and dissimilar. Eat of their fruits when they bear fruit and pay their due on the day of their harvest, and do not be profligate. He does not love the profligate. (Surat al-An’am, 141)

Almighty Allah has forbidden all forms of profligacy, great or small. For that reason, thoughtlessly throwing away food or other things is incompatible with His approval. Allah produces thousands of different crops from the same soil. The earth itself is inedible, its taste and color is almost the same everywhere. But with the rain He sends down from the sky, Allah produces very different bounties with different tastes and flavors from that soil. Even green, yellow and red apples taste very different to one another.

The foods that Allah brings to our tables must not be considered solely superficially. All these bounties are miracles of Allah. If Allah were to take these blessing away, there is no other power that could bring them back. Allah reveals this in another verse:

Say: “What do you think? If, one morning, your water disappears into the earth who will bring you running water?” (Surat al-Mulk, 30)

Allah has created an abundance of blessings to meet all human beings’ needs. One of the main reasons for hunger and poverty in this world is the failure to prevent waste. It is most important to seek ways of making use of all blessings without allowing corruption to creep in.

It must not be forgotten that it is satan who encourages waste. Since satan knows that Allah finds profligacy displeasing, he encourages the idea there is no harm in waste and heedlessly throwing things away. Believers must be on their guard in this area and call on each other to behave in a manner compatible with Allah’s approval.

Complexity of RNA Molecules Refutes Evolutionist Claims

Probabilistic calculations make it clear that complex molecules such as proteins and nucleic acids (RNA and DNA) could not ever have been formed by chance independently of each other. Yet evolutionists have to face the even greater problem that all these complex molecules have to coexist simultaneously in order for life to exist at all.

Evolutionary theory is utterly confounded by this requirement. This is a point on whichsome leading evolutionists have been forced to confession.For instance, Stanley Miller's and Francis Crick's close associate from the University of San Diego California,reputable evolutionist Dr. Leslie Orgel says:

It is extremely improbable that proteins and nucleic acids, both of which are structurally complex, arose spontaneously in the same place at the same time. Yet it also seems impossible to have one without the other. And so, at first glance, one might have to conclude that life could never, in fact, have originated by chemical means.¹

The same fact is also admitted by other scientists:

DNA cannot do its work, including forming more DNA, without the help of catalytic proteins, or enzymes. In short, proteins cannot form without DNA, but neither can DNA form without proteins.²

How did the Genetic Code, along with the mechanisms for its translation (ribosomes and RNAmolecules), originate? For the moment, we will have to content ourselves with a sense of wonder and awe, rather than with an answer.³

The Proliferation Of Sedition (Fitnas)

The word fitna (sedition) describes events, environments, and conditions in which all people, especially believers, face intensified tests of their faith. Such tests, in which living conditions are difficult and efforts are made to weaken or destroy people’s faith, are all described as fitna in Islamic sources.

The following hadith describes how believers’ faith will weaken prior to the Mahdi’s coming and the causes thereof:

The Mahdi, one of my children, comes into being, by the blessing of Allah, when the Day of Judgment approaches and the believers’ hearts weaken because of death, hunger, the disappearance of the Sunnah, the emergence of innovations, and the loss of the means by which to enjoin the right and forbid the wrong. His justice and prosperity will ease the believers’ hearts, and friendship and love will settle between the non-Arab and the Arab nations. (Al-Muttaqi al-Hindi, Al-Burhan fi `Alamat al-Mahdi Akhir al-Zaman, p. 66)

To summarize, the following events will take place before the Mahdi appears:

1) Death: Public security will disappear in the face of anarchy, widespread slaughter, and the ensuing tension.

2) Hunger: The high cost of living, as well as catastrophes and natural disasters, will cause a rise in hunger and famine.

3) Fitnas (Sedition): Sin will be encouraged and spread, and all kinds of immoral actions will take place before people’s eyes.

4) Un-Islamic innovations (bid`at): Customs that have no place in true Islam and that were added on and gradually came to be accepted as a true part of it, will emerge.

5) Being Unable to Preach the Religion: An emptiness caused by being unable to teach how good is commanded and evil forbidden; in other words, the preaching of religion.

Sedition enables strong believers to enhance their faith and fortitude, as well as their degree in the Hereafter, whereas they lead those with weak faith to become further removed from faith, and those whose faith is artificial to lose it altogether. The Mahdi will appear at a time when such a climate of corruption is being experienced in its fullest and most violent form.

Another hadith imparts the tidings that there will be confusion, sedition, and fear in the “west”:

Disorder, sedition, and fear will emerge in the west... Sedition will proliferate. (Mukhtasar Tazkirah Qurtubi)

Another hadith reveals that the Mahdi will come when sedition is everywhere:

A kind of sedition will surface from which no party will be able to protect itself, and spread immediately in every direction. This situation will persist until one comes and says: “O people, from now on your leader is the Mahdi.” (Ibn Hajar al-Haytahami, Al-Qawl al-Mukhtasar fi `Alamat al-Mahdi al-Muntazar, p. 23)

In other words, a sedition that opposes religion and Allah will target people’s faith. Today, this sedition is materialist philosophy, the supposed scientific basis of which is Darwin’s theory of evolution. Although it is completely irrational, unscientific, and devoid of any scientific or logical proof, materialist circles are seeking to impose this theory on every society through intensive propaganda, deception, and misrepresentation.

This theory enters our homes through the press and television, whether we live in the West or in the Muslim world. Forming a part of most science and other textbooks, it is imposed upon children from the early grades through constant repetition, such as its most famous claim: that people are descended from a common ancestor with apes. Young people are fed these evolutionist lies from primary school to the university.

In addition, the sedition referred to in the prophetic hadiths can only become so widespread through modern-day technological means (e.g., the press, publishing, the Internet, and satellite communications). Indeed, such widespread sedition has never been seen before today. All of these are important signs that the Mahdi’s coming coincides with our own time. The hadiths also state that this sedition will end when the Mahdi comes.

Ramadan 2012, The 1st Day

The month of Ramadan is the one in which the Qur'an was sent down as guidance for mankind, with Clear Signs containing guidance and discrimination. Any of you who are resident for the month should fast it. But any of you who are ill or on a journey should fast a number of other days. Allah desires ease for you; He does not desire difficulty for you. You should complete the number of days and proclaim Allah's greatness for the guidance He has given you so that hopefully you will be thankful. (Surat al- Baqara, 185)

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah’s Apostle said, “When the month of Ramadan starts, the gates of the heaven are opened… (Sahih Bukhari, Book No: 31, Hadith No: 123)

Muslims are facing difficulties in Iraq, Afghanistan, Ethiopia, Somalia, Chad, Southeast Turkey and everywhere. Everyone must constantly talk about Islamic Union and Turkish-Islamic Union during Ramadan. The imams must make Muslims pray for that in the mosques. It must be on everyone’s lips. Everyone must demand it. You know it will happen if everyone keeps demanding it. For example, our Religious Affairs Department says let us help such and such a country. But I say since the permanent solution is there and everyone knows that Turkish-Islamic Union is the urgent solution to all problems, why do they not talk about that? (A9 TV, August 2, 2011)

The Month Of Ramadan, When We Wıll Know The Happıness Imparted By The Moral Values Of The Qur’an

Allah fortifies the moral values of the Qur’an upon His believing servants with the obligation of fasting observed during the month of Ramadan. I pray Almighty Allah to root the hearts of all Muslims in Qur’anic virtues in this month of Ramadan.

The month of Ramadan is one of abundance, described in the Qur'an, itself sent down as a guide to all of mankind, as "better than a thousand months" (Surat al-Qadr, 3) and which contains the Laylat al-Qadr (Night of Power). Throughout this month all the Muslims of the world carry out their fasting obligation as one and thank their Lord for the blessings He has given them.

The excellent moral virtues of the Noble Qur’an direct people towards love, altruism, trustworthiness, nobility, humility, patience, maturity, deep reflection, good conscience, modesty and many other values that elevate the human soul. Our Almighty Lord, Who created us from nothing, as well as the world we would inhabit, the air we would breathe, the food we would eat and the water we would drink, has also shown us the lifestyle by which our soul can be at peace. Islam is the only true faith by which human beings can live in happiness. Allah bestows joy both in this world and in the Hereafter on anyone who scrupulously abides by Islamic moral values—a joy that will be uninterrupted.

Everyone living on the earth looks for ways of achieving happiness. Some imagine that they will be happy when they become rich, others when they find a good job, or when they live where they most desire, or when they enter university. The fact is, however, that nobody has ever attained true happiness by such means. Even someone who imagines himself to be the happiest of men will still have various preoccupations that trouble him, that make him uneasy, and which he prefers not to think about.

Unhappiness has become a familiar state of mind in societies that do not live by Qur’anic moral values. Distress and unease are emotions that people who live remote from faith feel every day. These people, who live unaware of the true religion sent down by Allah, imagine that this darkness of the soul is merely a fact of life.

It is noteworthy how people who live in societies that turn their backs on religious moral values are glum and intolerant of one another, are listless and lack the excitement bestowed by happiness. People who turn away from human values and seek only their own interests become ever unhappier. Consciousness decreases the further one turns from proper virtues. Until eventually people cease even to wonder where the origin of their unhappiness lies and just put up with this troubled life.

Believers, on the other hand, never lead such troubled lives. That lifestyle is unique to people who have chosen unbelief over faith.

Allah has revealed that their likeness is that of people who are under “a storm-cloud in the sky, full of darkness, thunder and lightning:”

Or that of a storm-cloud in the sky, full of darkness, thunder and lightning. They put their fingers in their ears against the thunderclaps, fearful of death. Allah encompasses the unbelievers. The lightning all but takes away their sight. Whenever they have light, they walk in it but whenever darkness covers them, they halt. If Allah wished, He could take away their hearing and their sight. Allah has power over all things. (Surat al-Baqara, 19-20)

People who have no faith are thus deceived into following a very brief, momentary path, and imagine that they can cope by way of it. Yet as revealed in the above verses, true salvation from all troubles lies only in turning to Allah, serving Him and living in the way He wishes.

Today, one in every four individuals is a Muslim; it makes us happy to learn that day-by-day the religion of Islam is spreading rapidly in every corner of the world, from America to Australia. By the will of the Lord, as our Prophet, Muhammad (saas) foretold, the Golden Age, the last period of the End Times, will come. Muslims know that the recent wars happening in the world, the acts of terror, anarchy, violence and injustice are all signs of the End Times described in minute detail 1,400 years ago by our Prophet (saas) in his hadith (Sayings).

By Allah's will, believers who have witnessed this miracle of our Prophet (saas), will also witness the wonderful things that he has revealed in great detail about the Golden Age. Here is one hadith that stresses how, in that period to come, there will be no bloodshed, chaos or discontent:

As the bowl is filled with water, the earth will fill with peace. No enmity will remain between people. All hostility, strife, jealousy will absolutely disappear. (Sahih Muslim)

May it please Allah that this Ramadan will have a wholesome effect on all sincere hearts. And it should not be forgotten that many important achievements in Islamic history were made in the month of Ramadan, with the permission and aid of Allah.

Darwinism: The Worst So-Called Scientific Deception

Materialism and the various ideologies and movements stemming from it represent one of the worst forms of corruption opposed to religion in the present day. The idea that encapsulates all these and that is their supposed scientific starting point and foundation is Darwinism. Since it was first proposed, Darwinism has become the basis for materialist and anti-religious ideologies and movements, and has literally been turned into a religion by the supporters of such ideologies. The great Islamic scholar Bediuzzaman Said Nursi drew attention to the fact that Darwinism will become the religion of the Dajjal (the Antichrist) in the End Times in these words:

“An impious movement emerging from the philosophy of naturalism and materialism will spread and strengthen by way of philosophy during the End Times, even to the extent of claiming divinity.”^[i]

Described by Bediuzzaman as “an impious movement emerging from the philosophy of naturalism and materialism,” Darwinism is a teaching that ascribes an independent power to nature, that claims that all of life is the work of blind chance rather than being created, and that seeks to turn people away from belief in Allah (God). The Concise and Expounded al-Kutub as-Sitta (The Six Books), a collection of the hadith of our Prophet (saas) and interpretations thereof, provides the following clarification of the subject:

“The most evident and worst characteristic of the corruption caused by the Dajjal in the End Times is its hostility to religion. Various humanist views and values that will appear in the End Times will seek to replace religion. This new religion will base itself on denial in order to eliminate every kind of current divine dominion... This is an anti-religious faith whose basic deity will be a material and human.”^[ii]

Darwinists have always tended to portray the theory of evolution as scientific. They maintain that life formed out of inanimate substances and developed by way of evolution, and that all species gradually descended from one another. However, Darwinism has never proven a single one of these stages, and is a system of belief nonetheless loudly heralded as scientific. According to Darwinism, “chance” is the great fictitious mechanism of this whole fictitious process. Chance is the false deity of Darwinism. And Darwinists imagine that this deity can do the impossible. According to Darwinists, this false deity produced a living cell from muddy water, turned fish into tigers and bears into whales, and created their lungs out of nothing. Again according to Darwinists, who assume that human beings are entities descended from apes, this false deity bestowed intelligence, memory and skills on human beings and created human consciousness, which cannot be replicated in any form, from nothing. So much so that in doing all these things, chance somehow manages to behave in a controlled, planned and rational manner and to immediately take precautionary measures when necessary. According to Darwin’s theory of evolution, chance is a false creator behaving intelligently and in a planned manner.

This heretical theory that deifies blind chance has somehow been imposed on vast masses of people through demagoguery and fraud. The reason for this is the Dajjal. The characteristics set out in many of the hadith concerning the Dajjal become crystal clear when considered in terms of an ideology. That is why all ideologies and systems of thought that make illogical and groundless claims, that lead people to denial and turn them away from religious moral values and that encourage conflict between people are all manifestations of the Dajjal. Darwinism is the main ideology adopting this system of Dajjal. Allah, our Lord, describes those who follow the heretical system of the Dajjal as follows in a verse from the Qur’an:

The evildoers are indeed misguided and insane. (Surat al-Qamar, 47)

The hadiths of our Prophet (saas) provide very detailed information and signs about the End Times, which will occur shortly before Doomsday. According to these reports, several highly significant events will take place one after the other during this period. In the first stage of the End Times, terrible corruption and chaos will rule; in the second stage, these will be replaced by peace and security as people come to live by true religious moral values.

Our Prophet (saas) imparted glad tidings regarding the Mahdi, who will be sent during the End Times. For example, this great individual will liberate Muslims from cruelty and suffering; eliminate corruption; and usher in an era of peace, justice, plenty, happiness, and well being. According to reliable hadiths, he will return Islam, which has been distorted via superstitions and practices, to its true essence; meet with Prophet ‘Isa (as); and, by Allah’s will, will enable Islam’s moral values to prevail on Earth.

These great tidings enhance all believers’ enthusiasm and excitement. Many of the prophetic hadiths and scholarly manuscripts that have come down to us have transmitted the joy and enthusiasm of those tidings and have kept the subject alive and of interest among believers. The portents that we are seeing in our own time show us that the Mahdi’s coming is close at hand. Indeed, the current climate of chaos, oppression, terror, and war, as well as the strife, famines, and earthquakes, are all portents of this great event.

Portents Of Mahdi’s Coming Taking Place One After The Other

Those hadiths that reveal the portents of the Mahdi’s coming describe them as occurring one after the other “like the dots on a prayer-beads.” We can see that this is the case, for as stated in the hadiths, chaos and anarchy are on the rise all over the world, sedition is growing, slaughter and terrible catastrophes are taking place in many lands, poverty and hunger are increasing, and people are suffering terribly. The fact that these portents are coming to pass at one particular time shows that the Mahdi, the blessed person for whom Muslims have awaited for centuries, will come soon. (Allah knows the best!)

I asked Abu Abdullah Husain ibn Ali: “Are there portents of this?” – in reference to the Mahdi’s appearance. Fitnas (seditions) will follow one another in the near future. Then, there will be other fitnas and even more following them. (Mukhtasar Tazkirah al-Qurtubi, p. 374, no. 684)
