Allah does not forgive anything being associated with Him, but He forgives whoever He wills for anything other than that. Anyone who associates something with Allah hascommitted a terrible sin. (Surat al-Nisa’, 48)
When Allah's Messenger (saas) was asked, "What is the biggest sin in the sight of Allah?", He said, "To set up rivals unto Allah although He alone created you." (Bukhari)
What does idolaters mean? They go along with nonsense, not with Allah’s commands. They have idols. They take this or that as their idols and follow them. You tell them to obey the Qur’an and they say they prefer their idols. “…see their final fate…” says Allah. (A9 TV, December 10, 2011)
The Worst Slander: Idolatry
Most people know that idolatry is a grave sin, but never think that it could have anything to do with them. They imagine that idolaters, defined as those who ascribe equals to Allah, are merely people who worship totems carved out of stone or wood, like the primitive pre-Islamic Arab pagans who worshipped idols in the Ka`bah (The Sacred House). However, idolatry is far more subtle and is actually widespread in many societies today.
In reality, idolatry comprises everything that people set up as a goal that does not involve seeking Allah’s approval, in who or which they place their hopes or desire for approval, or every entity regarded as possessing true power and control other than Allah. Given the subtlety of this definition, idolatry needs to be considered as something that may be very close at hand.
Ascribing equals to Allah is a most dangerous sin, one that cannot be forgiven and therefore will lead people to Hell. Thus, those who fear and respect Allah and hope for His Paradise must be on their guard against this threat. But people cannot do this if they do not know what idolatry is and what things fall under its scope.
Idolatry heads the list of sins to be avoided, for those who ascribe equals to Allah are guilty of committing a grave sin against Him. In the Qur’an, Allah reveals that He will not forgive such a serious slander, a sin, and an act out of respect. That is why Allah tells that He will forgive anything but ascribing equals to Him and that this act is a grave perversion:
Allah does not forgive anything being associated with Him, but He forgives whomever He wills for anything other than that. Anyone who associates something with Allah has gone very far astray. (Surat al-Nisa’, 116)
This is where the importance of avoiding idolatry lies. As Allah will never forgive such a major sin, He calls upon Muslims to avoid it at all costs by refusing to ascribe equals to Him.
Another reason to avoid this mistake is that it causes all of a person’s efforts to become vain and inflicts a terrible disappointment upon those who have gone astray. Allah reveals in the Qur’an:
It has been revealed to you and those before you: “If you associate others with Allah, your actions will come to nothing and you will be among the losers.” (Surat al-Zumar, 65)
Clearly, ascribing equals to Allah is a grievous sin that can drag a person down to Hell. Therefore, anyone who fears and respects Allah and hopes for His Paradise must guard against it.
The Arabic word shirk implies partnership. The term is translated into English as ascribing partners or equals to Allah. The Qur’an uses shirk in the following sense: regarding, preferring, or attaching importance or worth to anything, anyone, or any concept in such a way that it is considered to be equal to or above Allah (Surely Allah is beyond that), and then acting according to that distorted perspective. This attitude means that one regards members of Allah’s Creation as Divine, although only He can be divine.
The correct thing to do is to realize that Allah is the sole Possessor and Lord of all riches and wealth, regardless of their location and amount, and that He can withdraw His wealth from anyone whenever He wills. When evaluating materially rich people, the important thing is not their economic status but that they are thought of as Allah’s servant. For example, if one’s family members regard the father as the true owner of his wealth and thus place their hopes solely in him, thereby forgetting the wealth’s true owner, they are committing a serious sin. Similarly, those who work alongside this person must realize that only Allah feeds, clothes, and shelters them. It would be highly irrational for them to regard their employer as the one who provides for them, because:
Instead of [worshipping] Allah, you worship only idols and invent falsehood. Those whom you worship besides Allah have no power to provide for you, so seek your provision from Allah, worship Him, and give thanks to Him. It is to Him that you will be returned. (Surat al-‘Ankabut, 17)
Allah states in the Qur’an that there is no force and power other than Him (Surat al-Kahf, 39). Whatever resembles force and power in His created entities is actually a little reflection of His infinite might. Allah can remove these apparent attributes at any moment. Overestimating anyone because of these attributes bestowed on them by Allah in this world, temporarily and as a test, and to admire them in this respect as if that power was actually inherent in them, is a form of ascribing divine status to them (Surely Allah is beyond that).
Darwinists Regard Foreign Journals As Sacred
Darwinists have been exhibiting a state of great awe. They believe that foreign journals are miraculous. They literally regard these journals as sacred, and regard everything published in them as equally sacred. Since they hold such a belief they imagine that everything published in them will have a stunning impact. The way they are so impressed with all things foreign and their inferiority complex that stems from their inability to defend the theory of evolution scientifically forces them to issue such statements.
This admiration for all things foreign has reached such a dimension that proponents of evolution in Turkey in particular refuse to accept scientific evidence as such unless it is published in these journals they so admire. They oppose all kinds of scientific fact by saying, “If a paper has been published in a foreign journal it is true, and if not, it is wrong.” They still reject such papers if they are collected together in book form. In their eyes, in order for an article to be accurate and scientific it has to be published in a journal of some 50 pages measuring 27x20 cm, on wood-containing paper and lavishly illustrated with pictures of Darwin on the cover. But if the papers are collected together in book form, they will still regard them as unacceptable, no matter what scientific evidence they contain.
The fact is, however, THAT A GENUINELY SCIENTIFIC WORK IS ONE THAT PROVIDES SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE. The work in question may be a CD, or a book or a magazine, so long as it contains scientific evidence. There is no need for it to be a journal published in English on wood-containing paper. Rejecting Turkish studies, solely on the grounds that they are written in Turkish and published in Turkey and persistently and openly expressing one’s blind admiration for Europe in that regard is an utterly humiliating thing for Turkish Darwinist scientists.
This admiration that Turkish Darwinists feel for Nature and other such journals originating from Europe probably stems from the fact that these and similar journals are under the protection of the Darwinist dictatorship. Darwinists are very well aware that not a single anti-Darwinist word is allowed to appear in any of these publications. Paleontologists are currently in possession of 250 million fossils that prove the fact of Creation. Yet although these are all scientific evidence, not a single one has ever appeared in any of the publications in question. They exclude this scientific evidence, because if it were to be published it would prove the fact of Creation, and that would run contrary to the interests of the Darwinist dictatorship.
Another point that needs to be made clear here is this: the journal Nature that Darwinists praise to the very heavens was first brought out by Thomas Henry Huxley, who called himself “Darwin’s bulldog,” a high-ranking mason and a member of the Royal Society, itself made up of masons, and charged with the task of disseminating Darwin’s theory of evolution. The greatest aim of this magazine, established entirely under the control of freemasons, is to engage in propaganda for the nonsense of Darwinism and to spread this heretical theory across the world. For that reason, it is an easy way out for Darwinists to say they only regard what is written in a Darwinist journal under masonic control as “scientific.”
Darwinists must now abandon their deception. They cannot stand against 250 million fossils, nor justify their position in the face of the scientific realities. That is because Darwinism is in a state of rout and defeat right across the world. And everyone knows it. Darwinists must at last abandon their awe of foreign journals and act in the light of the scientific evidence.
Stopping The Flow Of The Euphrates
The blocking and stopping of the Euphrates’ water is another portent:
One of the portents of the Mahdi’s coming is the stopping of the Euphrates. (Al-Muttaqi al-Hindi, Al-Burhan fi `Alamat al-Mahdi, p. 39)
Other hadiths provide more details:
The river’s water has been blocked by the Keban Dam.The Euphrates will soon disclose the treasure [the mountain] of gold. Whoever will be present at that time should not take any of it (because the end of the old world has come). (Sahih Bukhari, 12:305)
The Prophet said: Doomsday will not come until the Euphrates discloses a gold mountain. Men will wage war for it. Ninety-nine out of every hundred will be killed, and every man will wish he had been the one to be saved. (Sahih Muslim, 11:320)
The Prophet said: “The Euphrates will soon disclose a gold mountain. Let no one who is there take anything from it. (Sahih Muslim, 11:320)
The Prophet said: “The Euphrates will soon disclose a golden treasure. Whoever is present, let him take nothing from it. (Sunan Abu Dawud, 5:116)
The Prophet said: “It [the Euphrates] will uncover a mountain of gold.” (Sunan Abu Dawud, 5:116)
The time when the Euphrates will disclose its golden treasure as its waters withdraw is approaching. Whoever is present at that time, let him take nothing from that treasure. Otherwise, he will die or be killed. (Narrated by Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim/ Riyazu's Salihin, 3:332)
As we have seen, stopping the Euphrates’ water is an important sign. In addition, many hadiths say that a treasure as valuable as gold will emerge. Let’s examine these signs further:
Allah's Messenger (saas) said: "The Hour will not come to pass before the Euphrates dries up to unveil the mountain of gold, for which people will fight. Ninety-nine out of one hundred will die [in the fighting], and every man among them will say: 'Perhaps I may be the only one to remain alive.' " (Narrated by Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim/ Riyazu's Salihin, 3:332)
1) … the Euphrates dries up…
As-Suyuti calls this the “stopping of the water.” The Keban Dam did, in fact, accomplish this feat.
2) … unveils the mountain of gold…
Thanks to this dam, the newly exposed land became “worth its weight in gold,” for the resulting increased production of electricity made it possible to irrigate more land and facilitated transport.
3) … for which people will fight.
Due to the widespread anarchy and killing in the region, anyone asserting ownership of land in that area may kill or be killed, just as the hadith states.
