Excerpt from Mr. Adnan Oktar's interview on A9TV dated November 28, 2012
Surah Yusuf, 34
So his Lord heard him (in his prayer) and turned away from him their snare: verily He heareth and knoweth (all things).
“So his Lord heard him and turned away from him their snare”, What does 34 [the verse number] remind us of? The plate number of İstanbul. “His Lord heard him”, Hijri 1453, Gregorian calender 2031. In the Gregorian calendar, 1453 is the year İstanbul (Constantinople) was conquered. There is an open reference to İstanbul. “His Lord replied to him”. Many plots will be hatched against Hazrat Mahdi (as). A lot of jinnis, satans, dajjals, female dajjals, male dajjals, they will all plot against Hazrat Mahdi (as) but surely they do not have the might of a fly in the face of Allah’s might. Allah is all mighty.
Surah Yusuf, Verse 35
Then, after they had seen the Signs, they thought that they should still imprison him for a time.
“Then, after they had seen the Signs”, the courts make clear that he is innocent, the evidence is in favor of Prophet Joseph (as). This is also a verse referring to Hazrat Mahdi (as). “...they thought that they should still imprison him for a time.”
